I've been coming here to eat for about 4 years and they have always been perfect to eat on those days where I work or I had school. I would just come home and eat some KT noodles while watching TV. Their prices are very decent for their food its pretty good. It's not horrible by any means. The service there is good the people always seem happy to serve you even this they barely speak English but hey whatcha gonna do. The food is good tasting even if people say its not fresh its still good considering where they are and how far they've come. Four years later, still love this place. I've moved on from the chicken with rice noodles to the back page. Number 101 and Number 104, and 100-something. The chicken and shrimp skewers on rice was a mistaken order I made, but it was a fortuitous one, because it's quite tasty. The combination noodle plates, whether with chow fun, rice, or clear bean noodles are packed with chicken, pork, beef and shrimp with vegetables. Never leave me, KT Noodle. I work in south sac and eat out viet restaurants a lot. KT is my favorite viet restaurant in the sac area. Not my favorite for pho, but I can eat #53 everyday. Their portions are huge and their prices are lower than eating out in ghetto south sac. No risk of getting stabbed or having your car broken into is a plus. read more

This place was packed when we arrived and I'm not sure they are use to that kind of traffic. Waited about 30 minutes for the food. It was worth the wait. Ordered potstickers (so fresh!!!) and Wor Wonton soup (it has seafood in it which was a huge plus). Definitely will return. KT Noodle is the most affordable and delicious place to eat in South Placer county and the Vietnamese food is great! Their portions allow us to have leftovers the following day. I had the chicken with the eggroll, tomatoes, lettuce, white rice and carrots on the side (may be #19, idk) but I always enjoy my meal with leftovers for the following day! This is one of our favorite little holes in the wall. Their food is amazing, and reliably fresh and tasty. Only downside is the ambiance, it is dated And not a place I would recommend for fine dining. The food however, it's pretty spectacular. KY Noodle was a very pleasant surprise. It had some great reviews on Yelp, so we went for it. The service was extremely friendly, no one spoke English very well leading us to receive the wrong entree (the only downside of the night). This was quickly remedied and the food was delicious. The prices are amazing, we had wonderful dinners for two for less than $15. read more

Absolutely delicious food...and each dish has a unique flavor, so you never get bored if you want to try multiple things... or just stick to your favorite and it will continue to deliver amazingly each time. My friends and I came here all through college...for bday parties, end of the semester parties, to celebrate after a test, or just to get away and have some awesome food. O.M.G!!! Over two decades, several different states and cities, never have I had broth this bad. It was sweetened with, I think, sugar substitute, and it was the God awful after taste that made us leave the restaurant barely touching two different phó. They took the typical asian restaurant sweetening their dishes for the non asians on a wrong turn. Yes, folks, most asian restaurants who cater to non asian foodies sweeten the the traditional dishes. We also ordered sampler appetizer.. meh... it was about a C-. On my never ending quest to taste pho at as many places as possible the dial struck KT Noodle today. Convinced a co-worker who had never dabbled in pho to be my co pilot and away we went. The décor is simple and the service is friendly. Ordered the Beef and Meatball Pho. The broth on it own was just fine and once I went to work on it with the Siracha, Hoisin, Soy, Jalapeno and whatever the hell else I could dump in there my masterpiece was ready. MMMM Good said the ad campaign from the 80's. Enjoyed the generous amount of white onion that was served with the generous amount of beef and meatball. Big time drawback on the toppings side. Mmmmm. Vietnamese food! They do a great lemon grass chicken and barbeque pork. They have pho, rice noodles, steamed rice and a nice side salad. We got 2 meals and egg rolls to go for $15 which is super low for a dinner for two. Better the BoBo's, great for a tasty light meal. For those of you who haven't tried Vietnamese Its a combination between French and Asian cuisine, you get the sauciness of French cooking and the fresh flavors of Asian. It makes for a wonderful dining experience. I also noticed some Chinese items like Kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef on the menu just in case you need to take someone out who doesn't like Vietnamese (although why would you want to take them?! I am incredulous as to how this bad restaurant gets so many good reviews. This place has really crappy Vietnamese food; if you want to try something that actually tastes good, go to Pho Hang in Roseville, Pho Bac off Madison Ave, or Wayside Noodles in downtown Sacramento. I enjoy Vietnamese cuisine as one of my favorite of the Asian cuisines, second only to Japanese. I have been to this place twice based on rave reviews, and have been thoroughly disappointed both times. First off, the place is dirty and run down. It has a smell to it that I can't quite place, but it doesn't smell like good Vietnamese food. More like a stale, dirty smell. I can't describe it better so I won't try, suffice to say that it isn't pleasant. The decor is unattractive and covered with dust, with plastic plants and cluttery, knick-knacky junk everywhere. I've ordered both the salad rolls and the calamari for appetizers. The salad rolls were ok, and the calamari was overly breaded in a bland, unseasoned batter and was quite underwhelming. The pho here is just completely worthless. Both times, they jammed the bowls so full of rice noodles that it soaked up all of the broth. The whole point of pho is the broth and letting the peppers, basil, etc soak into it and impart their flavor slowly as you enjoy the soup. That is impossible at this restaurant. I've ordered both the seafood and chicken varieties, and they were both terrible. The seafood used, to my complete bafflement, imitation crab. The shrimps were cooked to rubber, and it was inedible. Literally. I couldn't eat it, it was disgusting. The vegetables that they use in the soups are either poor quality, lazily prepared (giant onion hunks), or both. They swamped the dish in green onions, and do not use cilantro to flavor the soup. The chicken pho (pho ga) was marginally better, but was still jammed full of rice noodles so you couldn't really experience the broth. Same complaint with the poor quality and poorly prepared vegetables. Just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually has good food. My only explanation as to why this place has good ratings is that the people that frequent the place from the surrounding neighborhood just don't know any better. It is so bad that I came close to giving it 1 star, but I reserve those reviews for truly awful restaurants, and this place at least has edible food, if very poor in quality. read more

This restaurant is about midway to Tahoe (another 1.5 hours to Reno, 45 min to Truckee). We went to this restaurant for dinner on our way to Northstar on Friday night.Thanks to Yelp or else I will not find it because it is very local. It's not too far but yet not next to the freeway. The special noodle soup is huge with lots of noodle and meats. The presentation is ok with the price around $5.50 per order. We spent only $35 for 4 people with 4 orders of rice plate and noodle soup, 1 beer and 1 iced coffee.Can't ask for more if you just want a simple and quick dinner. The color of barbecue porks is very artificial. I don't recommend the barbecue pork or chicken rice plates. They color the meat too red. Try the beef noodle soup, and ask them not to put too much noodle which would absorb most of the soup. Service is good and fast. Best of all, there is no wait to get a table. We just eat and go...Don't expect too much if you are picky eater. read more

If you really need your pho fix in Roseville/Rocklin this is the best you're going to get. The food came out so fast I wonder if they just nuked it in the microwave. The chicken in the bbq chicken over rice plate was simply grilled with some red color sauce for color and quick flavor. The pork pho was shaky at best. The only saving grace for this place were the fried egg rolls being exceptionally tasty. Those will be a repeat order the next time I must have Vietnamese food and get too lazy to drive 30 miles to South Sacramento. Just remember to make sure your insurance is paid up and GPS works if you go there at night. It was a sight for sore eyes to find a hole in the wall Asian restaurant in the area. Excellent food!!! I love this place! I usually get their pork and shrimp noodle bowl and it's a lot of food. The pork is delicious and there's all kinds of flavor. My fiance and I recently moved to the Sacramento area from SoCal, and we were so happy to find a good Vietnamese restaurant since that is one of our favorite types of food to eat. I don't think I would have ever given this place a second glance if I didn't live right up the street from it. it's hidden in one of the older strip malls in Rocklin but don't judge this place on it's lack of aesthetic appeal; the food here is amazing! I have been to so many Vietnamese places here and in the Bay Area and this is one of my favorites. They have such a good selection of food, the menu is huge and everything is always great. The spring rolls were good, peanut sauce was okay. I just wished they would serve the appetizers with small plates because eating them tends to get messy. Their Thai Tea was ok, I've tasted better somewhere else. I think it lacks milk or whatever dairy they put in it. As for the Mixed Wanton Noodles ---- it was not as good as I expected it to be. It was so bland, I'm thinking maybe the cook forgot to put seasoning on it. I added some Hoicin sauce, but still bland. Will I come back? Maybe. I will try their other dishes. read more
