Pho Station offers larger than average portions of Vietnamese comfort foods. Biggest banh mi bread roll I've seen and eaten. Bread was good: crusty on outside and soft inside. Good amount of Vietnamese pork. I didn't notice any pate inside. Not particularly savory, so I would have liked to have the sweet vinegar sauce that gets poured over the vermicelli bowls. Most people would be content eating this. The Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp & Pork were long. $0.50 upgrade to get both meats. I wished there were at least 1 more shrimp and could have used a 2nd container of peanut sauce. Peanut sauce was smooth, paler, creamier, more liquid than other peanut sauces I've had. No nutty bits. A Yelp Elite friend recommended the Bun Rieu, a crab paste noodle soup with tomato, tofu, chicken, and fried shallots. These are other dishes I'm interested in: - Crab Fried Rice - Beef Vermicelli Bowl - Pho Special - House Noodle Soup - BBQ Pork, Shrimp, Calamari, and Veggies. Choice of rice noodles or egg noodles. - Build Your Own Pho with 1-2 or 3 ingredients: I would choose rare beef, tendon, and shrimp. I ordered to go. Server answered my questions about more popular menu items. While I was waiting in the restaurant, I noticed the 10 other dine-in customers all had a soup bowl in front of them. I think pho or soup may be the way to go. Pleasant dining room. 4 booth seats, 3 tables of 6, 2 tables of 4, and 5 tables of 2. Pho Station is located in that side plaza near Blue Oaks Theater and Xtreme Craze.

Wow this place is so good, the service was excellent and fast and the staff was so kind. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, this just became my favorite spot for pho! I got the build your own in regular size and the bowl was massive and cheaper than many other spots. The restaurant was very clean and cute inside. The broth was flavorful and satisfying, I definitely recommend trying this spot

We randomly chose one of vietnamese restaurants in rocklin to try. Our first visit, combination pho bowl, vietnamese crepes ( banh' xeo) and cold milk coffee. - Pho Bowl: soup broth has good taste, strong flavor. A lot of variety meat. Just a tiny thing that it's a little just a little bit salty the day we had. - 4.99/ 5 authentic Vietnamese Pho approved Vietnamese crepes ( banh' xeo) - it's completely different than how I was expected crepe's made. Light yellow with thin crispy layer. Saying that not mean dish's bad. It's just how I expected. The Crepe's made super thick, it's more oily than the thin layer one which I prefer. But it's is really delicious with perfect dipping fish sauce ( i could drink 2-3 cups of dipping sauce itself) - 5/5 Vietnamese Cold Milk Coffee: I will not recommend this. if you look for authentic vietnamese coffee flavor - sorry a big NO. The coffee is strong, moderate sweetness. However the milk they used is not right. I could taste something like hazelnut or vanilla milk which make the authentic Vietnamese coffee goes very wrong. 2/5 for a strong coffee at a good price Very nice and clean restaurant / tables / restroom. Pleasant atmosphere with Vietnamese interior decoration. Friendly/ quickly service, warmly staff. We seated ourselves. Utensils are provided with food ( that's what I like here). I don't like some other restaurants keep the box of utensils on tables for whole day long. We really enjoyed food that day. Restaurant's located in the busy area, on the left side of century blue with plenty of parking. You may get confused at first with the photo of restaurant name posted on Google that "Pho Hot". I guess it's re-owned and renovated with different name and change the menu items. Seriously I like how it's now. Will come back again when we are around Rocklin for sure.

Diverse menu, Good food [Roseville CA] Formerly occupied by Pho Hot now under new management. The interior had a nice upgrade from the former with new booths and table seating options. I came here for lunch and the staff were helpful and efficient. It was a full house. I decided to dine in and ordered the Grilled Pork Chop (Cơm Sườn Nướng). Food was served in a timely manner. Served with rice (or choice of fried rice for an add'l $5), lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, green onion, pickled carrot and daikon along with a small bowl of sweet & sour fish sauce. The grilled meat was tasty especially with that fish sauce. This is a nice dining option that is located in the same area as the Blue Oaks movie theater. Parking could be a challenge sometimes but I came on a Friday afternoon and I didn't have any problems finding a spot. Review #3987

    Banh Mi
    Joseph R.

I was in the area on a weekday and was searching for Pho restaurants that also served banh mi. Fortunately, this location served both so I ordered to go by phone. They had an interesting pho deal where you can build your own pho. I selected 2 items, I selected the flank steak+ meatballs, and a banh mi. Plenty of parking and the place was very clean and tidy. Around roughly 330pm, there were a few patrons already there eating. I received my order right away (probably 10 or so minutes after my order was placed.) When I got home, everything was packaged neatly. The pho? Very good! I ordered the large and had to eat it in 2 sittings. The banh mi was very good as well! I think i found yet another go-to pho spot to visit when I'm in the area. Yay!

I was quite surprised by the transformation of this place from the last time I visited some time ago. It obviously changed ownership and it was spruced up, refurbished and very clean and attractive. I was hankering for some hot soup, Ramen or pho, and since I was nearby and came to this location for pho before I thought I'd give it another try. Everything from the decor to the menu to the table settings were sparkling clean, nicely designed and professionally done. The menu is extensive and primarily Vietnamese. I came in particular for Pho and was not disappointed. I ordered the House Noodle Soup, regular size, with egg noodles. The portion was HUGE. Delivered pipping hot the broth was excellent, flavorful and all of the ingredients were very fresh. I was surprised to see the quantity of shrimp provided, nice and plump. The dish was most satisfying and there wasn't any component of the Pho that disappointed. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly, efficient and on top of it. I will gladly return for other items to try. What a nice surprise!

Went for round 2 this last weekend and once again they came through. I ordered the custom Pho with my 2 meats and my goodness, the broth is so flavorful at each bite. I appreciate that they provide a perfect amount of veggies on the side to complement the Pho. My girlfriend ordered their veggie Pho but in beef broth & of course that was delicious! The overall service was very quick and helpful throughout our time there. The restaurant wasn't too crowded which was lovely. I will most likely be back once the cold winter season is upon us.

Eureka! We've found it! Finally, our search for the BEST Vietnamese food near home around Roseville has come to an end (for now, iykyk as a foodie the search never ends). The food here is incredible and precisely the taste we've been looking for (and then some). My inner McFatty... super satisfied! Pho dishes? Plentiful, fairly priced, yummy, and generous. Vermicelli? Absolutely delicious and hits it right on the spot. Thai tea? More please! Eggplant dish? Best I've had so far in and around Roseville! Banh Mi? Easily compared to the best we've had aroound SoCal! Crab fried rice? Done deal - getting it every time from now on. Oh, I can't emphasize how happy we are to finally have a GO TO for whenever we crave authentic Vietnamese food. The only downer, although it doesn't take away anything IMHO, is the lack of curry dishes. But I think they wanted to gear away from having too much variety so they can focus on their specialties with a masterful perception. Nicely done and couldn't agree more with this angle. I'd rather go elsewhere for curry and return here for top notch quality with everything else! Parking is plenty right out front but this plaza tends to get busy with other popular businesses adjacent to Pho Station. Service was amazing and friendly, food didn't take long at all, there's adequate space with a good amount of tables and seating, very clean and upkept, and ambience feels open, warm, and welcoming for all occasions. Classy and modern setting as well - a plus! Great for family meals. Come hungry. Leave absolutely satisfied with food coma. That's the goal every time, isn't it? Goal achieved! Highly recommended for everyone that wants to enjoy super delicious Vietnamese delicacies with top quality, authentic, and memorable tastes! I want to go back now just recalling it all...

    Beef and tendon
    Juan C.

The best pho I've personally ever had, beef and tendon pho was amazing! The pho is loaded with fresh long noodles and the broth is rich and hot. Also ordered sweet and sour chicken wings which were very crunchy and the sauce was addicting how good it was. The really cleaned up the restaurant space from the previous and it's clean and bright. Very friendly staff as well perfect 10 resturant for me.

Legit authentic Vietnamese food, approved by the Dangerous Culinary Expert (my amazing cook and mother), who every dish is just average in the US. Two little friendly lovely high schools were so attentive, friendly and super fast . They made me feel like home, . The shop is small clean with cute decor. 100% coming back when I'm in Roseville.

I ordered the vermicelli bowl, and it was packed with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. I added a generous amount of chili oil to the fish sauce, and it took everything to the next level. The atmosphere is quiet, clean, and relaxing, with TVs throughout the restaurant if you want to catch a game while you eat. The service crew is friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. I always appreciate a clean broth that isn't too much that it overpowers the dish. So 10/10 for me on that. I absolutely loved my wonton soup, there was a ton of rice noodle that I wasn't able to finish unfortunately. The pork egg rolls had the BEST crunch it was so satisfying to eat. We wish we would have ordered more. Honestly the service sizes of these bowls I wish there was a smaller option because we both could not finish our meals. My boyfriend enjoyed his meatballs, he's fairly picky on that but he definitely made sure to scarf those down. The reason I'm docking a star is because the service was a tad slow and had forgotten our drinks until we were done and getting the check. We were fortunately given water before had and if it wasn't for our server giving us recommendations for dishes I don't feel our experience would have been the same. He did try his best given a rush came in moments after we seated.

So there I was... sitting on an oil rig in Alaska, talking to a sheriff's deputy with over 20 years…read moreon the job. He says, "My buddies keep telling me about this place called Pho King Good." Funny part? Even he had never been there. Well, that little story stuck with me. Fast forward a few weeks. My road trip partner, Koda, and I are heading home from Disneyland, cutting through Sacramento toward Grass Valley. We roll into Auburn and BOOM there it is. Pho King Good. Now let's just take a second to appreciate that name. If you're gonna swing for the fences with a name like Pho King Good, you've set the bar about as high as Mount Everest. You don't get to be "pretty decent." You'd better make me question every bowl of pho I've ever eaten. The sign? Absolutely iconic. It practically jumps out and hollers at you from the side of the road. Easy in, easy out. Road-tripper approved. Walking inside, though, I was expecting a little more "Pho King Palace" and a little less "we've been meaning to remodel since the Clinton administration." The marble counter looked nice enough, but the place just felt like it needed a little love. If I owned a restaurant with a name that good, I'd lean into it. Give me lanterns. Give me atmosphere. Make me feel like the King just walked in. Charge me another couple bucks if you have to I wouldn't mind if the experience matched the name. Then came the menu. It felt a little like Dysfunction Junction. They had everything listed, but it wasn't organized in a way that made ordering easy. Give me sections. House Pho. Beef Pho. Chicken Pho. Special Pho. Help a hungry traveler out. The food? Solid... right down the middle of the road. After hours in the car, a hot bowl of pho hits the spot no matter what. Koda really enjoyed his chicken dish, and our vegetable egg rolls with the peanut sauce were decent, although the wrapper was just a touch on the rubbery side. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which always counts for something. My only real disappointment was this: with a name like Pho King Good, I expected to leave saying, "That's the best pho I've ever had." Instead, I left saying, "That was... good." And then came the plot twist. Time to pay. Cash only. So now I'm walking out to the ATM like I'm making a withdrawal for a back-alley poker game or a dispensary run. I'm standing there thinking, "Well... this tip just took a hit because I wasn't planning on paying an ATM fee for my noodles." I still don't quite understand it. You're giving change, printing receipts, running a business... we're already 95% of the way to taking cards! Overall, this wasn't about whether the food was amazing or terrible. It was about the experience. Sometimes that's the story worth telling. Would I stop again on another road trip? Probably. Because sometimes a bowl of pho, your best buddy Koda riding shotgun, and a restaurant with the greatest pun in California are all you really need. And if they ever decide to polish the place up and make it live up to that legendary name... It might just become Pho King Great.

VEGAN SIGHTING!!! I…read moredon't even know where to start my fellow vegans. This quirky, Vietnamese restaurant in the city of Auburn, CA, has by far the best vegan Banh Mi sandwich. The tofu was prepared so it did not take up the whole sandwich. The pickled radish and carrots had the perfect and balanced of sour and sweet. Of course, can't leave out the herbs of cilantro and fresh jalapinjoes. The french bread was crispy outside but still soft and hearty as you take a bite. My earth was it a 2 thumbs up!!! Then their vegan pho with veggies and tofu did not disappoint. Their veggie broth was perfectly blended and made wonderfully that I was not even thinking this was vegan. The staff was kind and informative. They were attentive and friendly. Then comes the merch. If you like a play on the word Pho, then come and check out their shirts for sale. All I have to say is "Life is Pho king good." With this said, another gem in Auburn, CA.
