On our way back from Detroit Airport dropping off my son for a year in Kuwait. (Sobbing) Just a minute or 2 off 75 to this place. It sits in a strip mall nothing fancy but we're here for the food. Was greeted after we sat down. Very friendly and personable. Coffee right out. Our food was out in no time. Everything was cooked wonderfully. My sausage links were great. Nice flavor. Potatoes on point. Maybe I was just starving?? Lol.. No everything was great and for $24.50 we didn't leave hungry. If I'm in the area again I will be back to try out the lunch menu. Love coming to Mom and Pop places like this. They treat you like family and take care of you. Another thing they have is a wall of service men, told them about my son and they said bring a picture and we will hang it on our wall!! Love this!

Driving up from Cleveland to Detroit I stopped here to have breakfast. I was just going have pancakes but ended up getting steak and eggs and potatoes. The food was decent. My favorite were the pancakes. Coffee was my least favorite. I did get lots of food for $25. Service was good. Looks like it's run by a family. Good peoples. Definitely a good and friendly place for breakfast

OMG... First of all, who put my auntie in the kitchen. LOL. Stacey said it must be good because she don't eat eggs. She waxed them eggs! Grits was on point!!! My pancakes? I'm verklempt. They put powdered sugar on them (wiping eyes). I could say more. But I got the itis now and am temporarily stuck on stupid. This place... we'll definitely be back to try lunch. Angie...WE'LL BE BACK!

YUM! Quick stop in Toledo and we found this on our way out of town. Our server was Jeni and she was so friendly and took great care of us. The place was PACKED and everyone was working hard, which is a nice change of pace compared to most places these days. The food took a little while - however Jeni made us aware of that when she took our order. Our drinks were refilled and the wait wasn't bad at all. The food was FANTASTIC. Mom had a little burger that had a grilled bun and was cooked exactly how she wanted it. Sis had the veggie omelette and it was MASSIVE! Tons of veggies. She was slightly put off by the amount of butter on her toast - but I thought it was perfect. I had the KT bene which was a corned beef hash eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached perfection. Everything about the experience was lovely and if you are local or passing through, it's well worth the stop!

Uuuuge omelette, quite tasty. A bit over-cheesed for me but hard to say that's a negative. Fruit bowl was fresh and toast was warm. Great parking lot for fellow truck peeps. Very nice people, clearly a local fave. The best part was the sensible pricing. Under $10 for breakfast is a home run. Had to wave for coffee refill but overall a winner.

Sometimes you just want a quick, hearty meal without overpaying for "ambience." KT's delivers great food at a great price with great service, period! This place under-promises and over-delivers. Everyone here is friendly and genuine. I ordered breakfast and the entire plate was cooked to perfection and tasted just the way I had hoped it would. Eat here, you won't be disappointed. Special thanks to Amanda for the fantastic service.

This place has probably changed ownership 20 times in the past 50 years. It's location could be considered ideal for a restaurant, but since it's so close to the heart of Toledo shopping many cars just whiz on by and head for the chains up Monroe street. That's a shame if you ask me. Little neighborhood diners like this are key to community. All sorts of different folks sitting around, chatting with their servers, catching up on local politics and enjoying delicious diner food. After driving by a million times, we stopped in today for some sunday brunch. It should be noted that they close at two, and we arrived at 1:30 greeted with smiles and great rock-n-roll playing in the background. The sassy, very sociable server was also the owner. Her husband back in the kitchen frying up the eggs, and her daughter cleaning up tables. This is a real mom-n-pop affair. Just like we like it. The menu looked worrisome. No graphic designers were employed in the making of this document. The offerings we're expected, and classic. That said, the food we ordered was good. My wife got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Croissants aren't typically offered at diners, and if they are it's usually an up-charge. She requested extra crispy bacon and it was perfectly cooked. My mexican omelette was great. Wonderfully greasy with cheddar cheese and chorizo. I subbed the potatoes for grits, and the grits were GOOD. Grits! They have grits! I know it's a small thing, but I love grits. When we asked for hot sauce, she asked "what kind?" and offered up several varieties. More toledo restaurants should take note. Being treated like a regular on a first visit promises we're going to become regulars. Yes, the place is a little dingy and hole-the-the-wally, but for me that ads to the charm. No frills, just decent food and friendly service.

I was here once before and had a disappointing experience with a grilled chicken sandwich but…read moredecided to give this quaint place another try for breakfast fare- and so glad I did! My dog's groomer is right across the street or else I would have missed out. I walked in and ordered at the register. The menu is written on a chalkboard. I was hoping for a spinach omelette but they were out of spinach (same as last time I was there). Instead I opted for a veggie omelette with cheese. I also ordered a coffee. The way their system works is that you place your order and pay; then you're seated and your beverage/food is brought to your table. I sat in a booth and my coffee was very promptly brought out to me. The ambiance is absolutely adorable with red and white tablecloths and balloons. There is also an ice cream counter. It was a very pleasant setting in which to enjoy my coffee. Within a reasonable amount of time, my omelette was served with a side of toast. The omelette was huge and filled with lots of tasty tomatoes, onions and green peppers, all finely chopped and perfectly seasoned. Hash browns were also tucked inside the omelette. Although the cheese had been forgotten, I didn't miss it too much because the omelette itself was so delicious. The toast was served with delicious homemade strawberry jam. I could only eat half of the omelette and was given a box to take it home. My server was a very sweet young girl who kept checking to see if I needed anymore coffee and if everything tasted good. At a nearby table, a woman spilled her glass of water and people from the kitchen immediately came out to clean it up. They were extremely good spirited and reassured the embarrassed woman that it happened all the time and was no problem. The atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Grace's Kitchen in Point Place as a charming spot for breakfast or lunch. It's on Summit Street across from Aunt Linda's Pet Grooming and H&R Block. Check out the picture of my omelette and the inside of Graces Kitchen. (For some reason they appear below my prior review.) While other reviews note that this is a cash-only establishment, I used a credit card both times I was there, though I left a cash tip on the table this time.

Today, I tried something else that I unfortunately didn't love, so I'm rating it 4 stars. Today, I didn't place my to-go order ahead of time and instead walked in and sat at the counter and sipped on a diet pepsi while I waited. I would describe the decor as cozy, rustic farmhouse chic, with lots of pictures of pigs. I had time to take pics while I waited for my order. I stopped in a bit later than the usual lunch rush, so there was literally no one dining in. A couple of people came in to pick up their carryout orders. The server was very friendly and down to earth. I ordered the pepper smoked turkey sandwich based on some reviews that raved about it. Rather than chips or fries, I opted to upgrade to a slaw for $2 more. I couldn't wait to get back to the office and try the food. Before digging in, I took photos because everything looked delicious. The meal was top notch quality. The turkey was thickly sliced with artisan lettuce and a garlic aioli sauce, plus cheddar cheese. The bread was a tasty sour dough. I ordered it without onions because I didn't want onion breath. Despite the high quality ingredients, it somehow wasn't amazing. It was very good but I didn't taste the pepper flavor on the turkey. The slaw was a nice mixture of kale, cabbage and carrots. For my taste, the cream sauce was on the sweet side, whereas my preference is less sweet and more tangy. Nevertheless, the ingredients were very fresh. As I reached the bottom of the bowl, however, there was a lot of runny cream sauce. Again, my personal preference is for less cream; someone else might love it. I know it seems like I am being overly picky, but I should mention that the total cost of my lunch (before tip) was $18.75 (sandwich, slaw and diet pepsi that was a fountain drink with mostly ice). Yes, everything is expensive these days, but I couldn't help being disappointed. I would absolutely return and order the Turkey Reuben in a heartbeat but wouldn't order the pepper turkey sandwich, slaw or soda. I'd also recommend dining in the adorable restaurant rather than eating at an office desk with plastic utensils!

They no longer offer table service so you go to the bar to place your order. I asked for my wings to be VERY well done. I don't know why places struggle with this all you need to do is leave them in the fryer. No rocket science but they still came out soggy. The flavor was good but limp chicken skin is revolting. The burger was advertised as having fresh-cut fries. I see a trend of restaurants saying this and then serving a frozen product that resembles a fresh-cut fry. This is essentially false advertising. My husband said the burger was a frozen patty which is surprising because we have heard ppl rave about this burger. We have had the nachos before and loved the homemade unsalted chips. They were good but severely lacked cheese. Without cheese, all the meat etc just fell right off. My husband had 2 beers, PBR, and with tip our bill was $62! Which brings me to, why am I tipping you? I have to walk up to the bar to get and order my food and to pay my bill. WHY am I tipping you? I did more work to get my food and drink than you did?! To top everything off the owner's child maybe 3 or 4 was running all over and screaming the whole time we were there. Meh, not impressed this time.

Ambiance was dark- like a bar-type of atmosphere- which didn't matter because it was an overcast day in Ohio. It was also more of a sports var as there were lots of TV screens. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich after being assured by my server that it was one of her favorites. It came with delicious French Fries. The sandwich was good but not amazing. For my taste, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but better than undercooked. The fries were delicious, even though I only ate a few. Before I went to college, I worked in a nice seafood restaurant and our nightly task was to make sure ketchup containers were full. Therefore, I noticed that my container of ketchup was down to the last few squirts. Never a good thing/sound! Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of your way to try, imo.
