Came back the week or two after for some more goodies. Absolutely love the egg tarts here and the cakes are really consistently good. I really like trying the different savory items that they have but I also definitely pick up a lot of sweets too. In general, you really still can't go wrong with getting just about anything from here. Service is nice and all the staff are great. Shop has little inside seating but a lot of outside seating so this is a perfect meeting spot.

Location is clean and right next to the trolley. A perfect place for students and anyone commuting to grab a drink and pastry to fuel their day. This location was clean, well lit and the staff was attentive. The salt bread has a perfect nice and crunchy bottom and if you enjoy just a good piece of buttery bread, that is a must try. Docking a star because I felt it so strange to have religious notes throughout the store. I don't go to bakeries for that.

This is one of my family's go-to spots when we're in the area and craving pastries. I love how they have so many options to choose from -- from savory pastries, to sweet ones, and unique seasonal options, this spot will have something for everyone in your party. They also have a pretty good variety of drinks to go with your selection. The tiramisu latte was really good -- it was sweet without being overly sweet. The strawberry matcha was good too, I tasted more strawberry than the matcha though. The customer service is great too. They are very efficient, and nice. There is some seating inside and outside, and parking is easy!

Great food and service. I come here often and always enjoy it. Acey was a great workers during the shift I visited and the food came out very quickly.

So many options. Very clean and organized. Service was very fast and super friendly. I had a savory and sweet pastry. Both were delicious!!! Also had a cappuccino that was great as well. Definitely recommend trying it... warning, it's going to be hard to just pick one item. You grab a tray and some tongs and start loading up options. They wrap/box everything up very nicely for you. They had a decent amount of seats inside and outside. Probably not great for a large group. Plenty of free parking.

This is my ultimate favorite pastry spot in all of San diego! I love love this place. Whenever I want a light but savory breakfast I order from this place. They're delivery is pretty quick and travels well! My husband and I usually order a variety of pastries to share so we can get a little bit of everything! Few of my favorites are the cream cheese garlic bread, the side and spinach croissant, and the mushroom and onion pastry. But honestly you can't go wrong, everything is so freshly baked! Highly recommend this place if you have yet to go, it is definitely in game changer for bakeries!

The phone staff is super friendly here! Every time I call they are helpful and so nice. We ordered a 10 inch Cloud cake for a whopping $95 online. They often have special promo codes when you order online ($6 off $40 for example). The online prices matched in store prices when we placed this order . This LJ location is modern and warm. It seemed to be mostly college students taking up most of the indoor seats and part of the front patio seating (all on their laptops). There was only one cashier taking orders. There wasn't an area for pick up orders. So the line was a bit confusing. The bakery items didn't seem appealing as my sister picked up a few items the week before and didn't enjoy them. I am not sure if the items are made fresh or pre frozen and baked in house. The cake is really pricey at $95. But you can absolutely TASTE the freshness of the strawberries and whipped cream. Sis said the price was similar to Lady M's cakes while I compared the price to Extraordinary Desserts. The Cloud Cake here is special as it's not too sweet and the sponge cake is light and airy. They also give you complimentary candles which was a bonus. I'd return to purchase another cloud cake should we have another party :)

Stopped by for a morning drink and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of baked goods. The shop was neat and clean upon entry, and they provide trays, parchment paper, and tongs so you can easily pick out your favorites. I ended up choosing a matcha cream donut, a hot dog pastry, a cherry and cream cheese danish, and a garlic cheese hot dog. For my drink, I went with the honey lavender matcha latte at half sweetness. Everything I tried was delicious! The matcha cream donut was especially soft with a generous, perfectly balanced filling. The pastries had a great texture: flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet. I especially appreciated that the cherry danish wasn't overly sweet, which suits my taste. Service was excellent. The cashier was kind and patient while I asked questions about their lattes, and she even offered a few helpful recommendations. There's plenty of seating available both indoors and out on the patio. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Baguette, yuzu pie, chocolate avalanche, baby choux and pretzel pastry
    Wendy G.

Ordered a quintet of treats from this spot. Please note, this is a South Korean founded bakery, so expect the goods to be less sweet than most American and Euro counterparts. My favorite item was the baby choux--soft, delicate and filled with less sweet pastry cream that was balanced by the sweetness of the milk chocolate topping. The custard and almond pretzel pastry was a unique option, and the baguette had a nice crunchy exterior yet still soft, fresh baked interior. The chocolate avalanche was nicely crisp and flaky on the outside with generous milk chocolate filling--not as in your face chocolatey as, say, a brownie but perfect for chocolate lovers accustomed to less sweetness. The one let down for me was the yuzu pie. I expected a pie slice but this is actually a streusel. There is yuzu cream inside, but it's too buried under unwanted layers of puff pastry for me. Updating the item name would help delivery orderers like me make better choices.

They are open early in the morning and the interior is organized and the pastries are freshly stocked! I liked how they had a warm section for their croquette buns! I think the interior could use a bit more warmth in the seating section and I was honestly surprised to see so many people (several on laptops already) inside Tous Les Jours so early! They also had outdoor seating and lots of parking spaces available. The prices are not bad and they seem to have more savory than sweet items (I am not counting their cream filled donuts). I tried: - Curry Croquette: I heard this was popular and so I decided to give it a try. It was a bit oily for me, but I did enjoy the bread. It was soft and pillowy with a nice crust. The inside-- the curry was just ok. I think I would enjoy it if it were spicy. For a curry bread, I think I prefer the interior flavor of Asa Bakery's more! Although, my mom and aunt really enjoyed this flavor. So, everyone has diff palettes. I'd recommend giving one or two of their croquette buns a try! They also have: kimchi, japchae, and another flavor. -Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant (something like that can't remember name): I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It was so good that I didn't get a photo. The hazelnut and chocolate combination is not like Nutella. It was light and not too sweet. The hazelnut was very prominent and the croissant was flaky and delicious. It was spectacular with coffee! - Coffee Bun: this one was okay. It was large, but quite hollow. It had a slight burnt smell to it. Not completely unpleasant... the coffee taste was quite flat. I wanted more oomph or depth to it. I think when I'm not in a rush, I'll come by and pick out a few more pastries to try. I think if they had a few more sweet of fruit type pastry options I'd come by more often. But I mainly saw lots of garlic forward savory pastries, which is not something I personally enjoy. They do have cakes, drinks (coffee, matcha, etc), breads, etc. I think something for everyone and it is always good to try new things!

Ordered 2 cakes for my company's monthly celebration and everyone loved it! We were looking for a cake that was light and not too sweet, and this was perfect. The cloud cake and chocolate cloud cake were pretty similar, and both were delicious. They will give you Happy Birthday chocolates for you to put on the cake yourself. Overall great cake and service!

    Alyssa S.

First time coming here. I ordered the cake about 20 hours in advance, though they also always have some in the case. I got the cloud cake based on the recommendations on here and it was very tasty. I also got an espresso and a cocoa hazelnut croissant while I was doing pick up. It was a little confusing that I needed to pick out the croissant myself before I paid, and it would have been nice to have it warmed, but I had no idea if that was an option. The espresso was a little extra bitter for my taste but the croissant was good. And of course the cake was the main reason for my coming and I was not disappointed. So I would absolutely recommend the cloud cakes, and try to figure out next time if they heat up pastries (though I searched other reviews for the word HEAT and found nothing!). Also, there is easy parking and a patio. The bakery is on the Marshalls and Ralph's side of the street, rather than over by Whole Foods.

But giving me false hope and having me rush over for nothing completely ruined the experience. What was supposed to be a small bright spot in my day turned into an even bigger disappointment. Unfortunately, this experience has left such a bad impression that I won't be returning. There are plenty of other bakeries in the area, and I'll be looking forward to trying those instead.
