Excited that Kung Fu Tea has opened this new location! We came here on a Monday at 5 pm and it was decently busy. We got the cocoa cream milk cap and the matcha milk cap - both drinks are great! I love the milk cap's slightly salty flavor paired with the brown sugar. The lady at the register seemed new: she was working with another employee to figure out how to use the PoS machine. I would say this location is still figuring out their operational day to day but it's regardless excellent boba! read more

My boyfriend and I frequent here a lot. We love coming here to get our boba fix. Usually we would order online and just pick up or pay with the cashier (we don't know his name but he's great). They have a great selection of drinks and they have some cools ones depending on the season. You could stick around and catch up or play some of their board games. We'll continue to come here! I've had more bubble tea drinks than any one person should have and Kung Fu Tea is my favorite. This store, however, is not a great store. There was only one person working there. She was doing all she could to keep up with in-store orders and mobile-orders but one person isn't going to cut it. Which meant the wait for our drinks was loooooong. I went in with a clean-shaven face and midway through the wait I had to shave again. The only way to order is via the iPad by the register. This didn't bother me too much because I knew what I wanted to drink, but there wasn't a way to use the app to pay for the drinks. The only way to use the app is to do a mobile order. No loyalty points for me. Most importantly, the drink wasn't good. My go to drink is an almond milk tea with boba. This tasted like a big cup of nothing with some balls of chewy stuff thrown in. I couldn't finish it. My hopes were high for this place. The results were low. read more

Since opening, I have tried this location twice! Both times I came on a weekday afternoon and the place had people lining up. Keep in mind they recently opened so they are still figuring out some kinks with operation. I tried the Matcha Milk Cap with Boba, which reminded me of the Matcha Latte at Starbucks with a foamy, slightly savory creamy topping. In the future, I might not get the milk cap again since I'm not a fan of savory and sweet together but my husband loved it! I also tried the Oolong Milk Tea Wow Milk Cap, which I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Kung Fu Tea always has great tea flavor, which I really appreciate. The Wow signifies brown sugar boba, which is sweeter and has more syrup than the regular boba. Overall, lots of drinks to try and I look forward to coming back to try some more. Based on service alone! Walked in and walked out after interacting with the girl at the "register." Rather than a welcome,I was greeted with are you paying with cash or card. I was abruptly directed to the self serve ordering which had a wait. When I asked if it's like this all the time, she said the register doesn't take card and it's faster that way. I would have just ordered on the app, if that was the case. You're serving overpriced tea, a big part of that cost is customer service. I was excited to see this is Redlands, but I will not be back. I should've known by walking in and seeing all those people waiting to just walk out. After being next to order in line, awkward look by the register kid (Cesar?) I asked if I could order and he just said sure. I started ordering then phone rang. He pointed at the poor girl making drinks in the back to once answer the phone. She didn't even acknowledged him so he was forced to answer. He answered hello with a question mark, and I could tell by the way he was interacting with costumer on the other line that he had zero costumer service experience. After 10 minutes a lady came up and asked if her drinks were almost ready. It looked like they had been waiting for a while. He then said that they had ran out of boba, she asked for an ETA on her drinks and he said "whenever the boba is ready." At 1430 a pair of ladies walked in and saw how busy it was. They started saying nice things to Cesar, even called him handsome. 10 minutes later and their drinks were done. At this point, I had to say something because this was just unfair. I asked for a status of my drinks, since none of them included boba. His excuse for slow service was that there was no more boba, yet the two ladies who called him handsome got both of their drinks with extra boba. I honestly was not even that worried about my drinks anymore, because I knew I was gonna ask for a refund. I told him that there were people waiting longer than the two ladies who called him handsome and they deserved to be served first. He said that he couldn't serve them because I was arguing with him. I turned around and asked the parties behind me how long they've been waiting. One answered 30 minutes, the other one hour. I asked for a refund again, and like a coward, he went and got the poor girl making drinks in the back again, and said that she would process the refund. He then asked for my receipt, which he never gave me, and also my order #, which again, I didn't have since he didn't provide a receipt. The reason why I didn't have a receipt is because as soon as I ordered, he walked out and went to the back. I saw my receipt on the printer, but didn't want/think to grab it myself. We actually had to go through a few of his receipts, which he had scattered all over the counter, and finally found the order that matched my drinks. I asked for his name, his manager's name, and a phone number to file a formal complaint. He wrote a random name on the back of my receipt and then told me to call the number on my receipt, which was corporate. I called the number on the spot because I didn't trust him, and when I called, the store phone rang. Of course he didn't pick it up. When I asked for corporate's number or his manager's number again, he said "go figure it out yourself." I've honestly have never experienced the level of disrespect to a customer of what I saw here. I thought these things only happened on TikTok, for likes. I was very upset by his interaction, and for this company's sake, I hope they hire a more motivated person that actually wants to work, because this person isn't it. While I was interacting with the kid, another customer asked for his refund and left. He was just as upset. I've been a fan of Kung Fu Tea for a while, but after this whole fiasco, I will not be stepping on another one again. Don't want to be reminded of this nasty interaction. read more

One of the worst service place. We came in on a Sunday. Ordered three drinks. Then they said there was no boba so they needed to make a new batch. We decided to change our order to have no boba, and they still did not make out drinks!!! We waited there for 1 HOUR! When one of the lady who also waited there for 30 mins, she gave her complaints and wanted to get refund, the guy who worked there showed a nasty/ unprofessional attitude. Additionally, The worker showed favoritism! A lady who came in and got her drinks right of way ( within 5 minutes)while other customers were waiting for more than 30 mins? It's soft opening for Kungfu Tea in Redlands. I always go to Rancho Cucamonga for Kungfu Tea before but finally new store is opened near by my house. I do not need to go so far for boba drink from now on. The store looks very nice with opening tables. I already tried Kiwi Punch, Kungfu Milk Tea, and Thai milk tea, and Yakult Grapefruit.
