I've had this spot in my Yelp list for a while, so I was excited to give it a try finally. It's located in the busy complex adjacent from the Galleria Mall and accordingly, we decided to park in the mall lot and walk over. There were a few other diners that evening and plenty of people coming in to grab their takeout orders. We were promptly greeted and seated by the waitress. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside it's a cozy dining area with a full view of the kitchen, so you can watch the noodles be hand pulled while you wait, which is a nice touch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered egg rolls to start, which were standard but good. For our entrees we opted for the Beef Brisket Noodles (the waitress mentioned it was one of their top sellers) and the Chicken Mushroom Noodles. Both of our entrees were piping hot when they arrived and packed flavor. We both added some spice since they do not have spice levels to choose from, but they will bring out the little carousel of offerings. The chicken mushroom noodle had a yummy umami broth and decent pieces of chicken accompanied by a variety of mushrooms. The beef brisket noodle had large, tender chunks of brisket which melted in your mouth. The broth had a deep flavor, but was a tad greasy. Overall this is definitely a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner.

Yelp! review #4 of 2026 Favorite Noodle Spot Delivers Again - Even on a Crazy Busy New Year's Saturday! My wife was craving noodles to kick off the new year, and since this is hands-down our favorite place for hand-pulled noodles, there was zero debate. We decided to grab a quick early dinner on the first Saturday of the month (January 3, 2026). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walked in around 4:30 PM thinking we'd beat the dinner rush -- we were literally the second group to arrive, followed quickly by a third. By the time we sat down at our usual table and turned around, there was a long line out the door![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've never seen it this packed, but hey, great food draws a crowd. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mood is mellow with asian pop artists covering American tracks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was still solid despite the chaos -- friendly, efficient, and welcoming as always. We branched out and tried a couple new things: * Dumplings: First time ordering them, and they were spot-on. Perfect char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Really good! * Chinese burger: The filling was excellent (flavorful, well-seasoned meat), but the bread was a bit too tough/chewy for my taste. If they sold the meat solo as an appetizer, I'd order it in a heartbeat. Then onto our tried-and-true favorites: * Two shrimp chow mein * Two shrimp fried rice * One non-spicy fish soup (for our son) * One fish soup with extra fish (for my wife) * Spicy brisket noodle soup with extra beef (for me) Everything was delicious as expected -- those hand-pulled noodles are unbeatable. Decent prices for such a niche spot, generous portions, and consistently great service make this our go-to. Even on an unexpectedly slammed Saturday, they handled the crowd like pros. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic hand-pulled noodles -- we'll be back soon!

Craving noodles, I decided to try this spot known for its spicy hand-pulled noodles in beef or pork broth. The restaurant is tucked inside a plaza with plenty of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is stylish and comfortable, with a mix of booths and tables that make it a nice space to dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the seafood pancake and spicy wontons to start. The pancake was crisp but lacked flavor and needed soy sauce for a boost in flavor. The wontons had good texture and seasoning, though I expected it to be spicier. For the main dish, I had the hand-pulled noodles in beef broth. Unfortunately, the noodles didn't taste fresh, and the broth was bland--even after adding chili oil from the table. The portion of beef and bok choy was also underwhelming. Service, however, was attentive; our server checked on us several times. Overall, this place works if you're nearby and craving noodles, but for a richer, more flavorful bowl, I'd make the trip to Chinatown.

Super fast service. Got our food fast and Super friendly. The food is so delicious. The beef soup just melts in your mouth. And the chicken chow mein saucey and delicious. Handmade noodles is superior. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back our experience and food was amazing!

I am obsessed with their hot and sour fish noodle (soup). I had it here for the first time a few days ago and I keep thinking about it. It's actually spicy (though it could be spicier) and delicious! Guess I'll have to go back soon.

These noodles are pretty good. Not the best-tasting I've ever had, but definitely good and at this price point it's a great deal. The spice level seems a little low, so don't be afraid to ask for it spicy if you like spicy food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is casual and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were quick to bring out the food, but I had to waive someone down to request a drink refill. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but I'll round up to 5. Worth a visit if you haven't been before.

Keep coming back for the won ton soup. Plenty of filling won tons & the soup is delicious. Perfect for a chilly or any time of day or night. Service is always amazing.

This our go to handmade noodle shop! Its ideal location is close to us & would frequent it even when the triple digit temperature is going on. We came on a Sunday after our church service. We're always welcomed with a smile as soon as we enter & seated immediately. We usually order the shank or brisket noodles depending on what my taste buds dictates. It's always a delight & an experience watching the noodles made & handled adeptly & cut with precision. The handmade noodles submerged in the piping hot broth is so comforting especially on that cold winter day. The scent & aroma of the peppers & spices engages your olfactory senses & whets your appetite that each slurp indulges & satisfies every cells of your taste buds. The chewiness of the noodles & the fresh flavor is so noticeable with every bite. What can I say, it's a culinary gustatory delight engaging that bowl for me. In between you pop a piece of spicy wanton trying to envelop with as much chili oil you can to give you that umami taste of the combination. My wife opted for the chicken chowmein which is good too. The price here is unbeatable. One of the few places where you can eat without burning your pocket. Strongly recommended.

Been here a few times and I always enjoy the food. Employees are super nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can watch the chefs make the noodles by hand.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are decent! Not that spicy so ask for extra spicy if that's what you like

Love this place so happy to have this in Henderson. Haven't been in a while but went recently and don't know why I waited so long to come back. Everything we got was amazing, only downside I would say is the onion pancakes were kind of bland we didn't really taste any onion flavor. Everything else was perfect.

Their beef noodle soup is more representative of what you would typically find all over China and Taiwan. You can choose your noodle type. I opted for knife cut noodles and it was cooked on the firmer side which I prefer since it gives the noodles a great bite and texture. The soup was good and the brisket was very tender. Currently at $11.99, it's a fantastic value!

    Stefanie D.

This is the best new restaurant I've been to. From seattle and we have lots of noodle houses pho, but this place was so yummy! Recommend sesame seed balls and szechuan beef brisket noodle!

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I like it even more than the char siu! I ordered the takoyaki appetizer and was not disappointed. I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. I've waited so long to say: oooh, my!…read more Umai Ramen is a Henderson spot that surprisingly dates to pre-pandemic times. Located somewhere in a sprawling Stephanie plaza between Ross and Hobby Lobby, it's somehow managed to survive despite being on hardly anyone's radar. Initially, I had eyes on a salmon app, but I eventually read enough of the menu to notice the Orange Salmon ($13.99), apparently classified as a no-rice roll or something. This is indeed a rendition of a certain famous "new" sashimi-style dish with salmon slices paired with orange slices and an umami dressing. It doesn't super evoke the awe and nostalgia of the original version I had, maybe lacking some orange punch and also using larger but lower quality salmon sashimi cuts. Fortunately, the presence of all the sauces, orange wedges, and microgreens bestows enough flavor to cover for that issue. I also found a more interesting option than a hot bowl of soup in their menu. The Black Garlic Mazemen ($14.99) is a sauced bowl of kale noodles (yep, they're green) with spicy ground pork, chashu, and some sort of mixed greens. It is served hot, so it isn't as much of a relief during the summer, but you can mostly handle it without a spoon. The noodles are coated with that luscious, perhaps under-described sauce that didn't really speak "yuzu" to me. The ground pork doesn't make the whole thing too spicy, and the thin chashu slices are nicely caramelized and tender. I was quite happy with the dish and would order it again as soon as tomorrow. Umai Ramen is really a hidden gem. I can't speak for their regular ramen menu, but I had some very nice dishes here tonight and suggest that anyone else in Henderson who's overlooked them make a stop for either lunch or dinner.
