Fast, easy pickup! Got exactly what I wanted. Good quality chicken, nice sauce-- subtle flavor but classic

What a hidden gem! I found Kuno when I was vacationing in the area and was interested in trying some good Asian food. Kuno meets the mark! The restaurant isn't too large, but has an intimate, luxurious aesthetic. The bar area is dim and relaxing, great for date nights! The dining area is cozy and not too cramped. I enjoyed sitting next to the window and people watching! My server was very friendly and quick. He catered to my needs and provided prompt, but attentive service. I ordered the Korean Wings, Pork Dumplings, and Pad Thai. The wings were some of the best Korean wings I've ever had. I am usually suspicious when it comes to Korean chicken wings, because they're usually far too spicy and coated in too much breading. Kuno has the perfect balance! The breading was light and didn't take away from the star of the show: the sauce! The sauce is spice forward but ends with a sweetness that is incredibly cohesive. They make for a great appetizer alongside the pork dumplings. Those seared dumplings are SO yummy and I enjoyed the dipping sauce it came with. The taste reminds me of soup dumplings. It has a rich, velvety, umami flavor that is to die for. The Pad Thai was also great! Not as spicy as I'd expected, and came with WAY more bean sprouts than I'd hoped. However, the flavor is delicious and it's a huge portion size. I added shrimp and chicken to mine, as it usually only has tofu. I highly recommend Kuno. Whether you dine in or order take out, you will be satisfied!

This place is a hidden gem. Great cocktails and appetizers. Such a cool bar vibe inside and the Char Kway Teow was fantastic!!

Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng

One of the best meals I've had lately! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, nasi goreng, and char kway teow and all were excellent and full of flavor. Additionally, prices are very reasonable and it's easy to find free street parking around the restaurant. This place is such a hidden gem.

This place deserves more customers! There was only one other table on a Friday night but most of us were Asian, so you know the food is going to be good. It's a small menu but everything looked like solid options. We enjoyed the Char Kway Teow (chewy wide noodles with shrimp, Chinese sausage and bean sprouts) and stir-fry ground chicken with basil and a fried egg. The noodle dish was like elevated Pad See Ew and we loved the sweet-saltiness of the sausage. The stir fry had a wonderful spiciness level - not too much to overpower the flavors of the dish. Great prices too. If we lived here, we'd be regulars.

We love this place! A little off the trendy beaten tracks (of Washington Ave and the Commercial St. waterfront) but well worth the trip. We have spent time in Singapore (probably the best place to eat in the world...) and it is so nice to have authentic food from Southeast Asia here in Portland. The char kway teow (fried wide rice noodles (++) with shrimp) and the chicken wings are especially good, but everything we ordered was authentic and delicious! Our son LOVED their chicken sandwich. Very reasonably priced too. They do a pretty good takeout business, but we really like the ambience of the place; it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is very nice -- simply and comfortably appointed -- for sit-down dining. The small staff is extremely nice (and efficient!

The place small, quaint and perfect for a rainy day comfort food. (Pictured below) We both really enjoyed our food and proportions.

Fabulous Thai food in a great space to sit and eat, and also a beautiful bar. Sophisticated setting with reasonable prices. Loved the Thai basil lemonade, Pad Thai was fresh and not dried out, all the food was as good as New York. An added plus was the classic big band music in the background, not too loud, just right.

I had a great dinner experience here last night with my partner. We love love love the honey paw!…read more For starters, it's a great location. Close to more bars for extra drinks, easy to run into other friends. Also, it's a beautiful spot with outdoor seating in the warmer months. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed khao soi, katsu pork sandwich, and the honey soft serve. The portions are generous, as we were able to share and have leftovers. Each plate had so many great textures and flavors. We did experience a long wait between ordering, getting food, and receiving the check. It was a busy summer night so I wasn't upset, but do not plan on having a quick meal here. Get cozy, get an extra drinks and enjoy your time here. Apologies, but phone did not eat first this time-no pics!

Good meal, prices definitely on the high side…read more Vibe: really cohesive, cool, themed decor. Large shared table in the middle flanked by bar seating. Service: Great Food: We started off with soft serve and the seasonal earl gray outshined the house honey. The earl gray had a great flavor topped with an excellent syrup while the honey was mild and the chocolate shell didn't add anything, although the 'honeycomb' bits were delic. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. Overall I did like this meal but portions were small for prices. I hope they keep the earl gray soft serve around!

Miso soup was delicious and hearty - just what you need on a cold day outside. Both, noodles and fried rice were great. Btw their spice levels are catered to North American taste buds, so if you're an Asian just tell them highest spice levels and you'll probably still feel like moderate. Having said that, great flavours. The staff was nice and friendly. I used the restroom and they were clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended.

It is a tragedy that I was only planning to visit Portland for less than a day, so I didn't have the opportunity to dine in at the Green Elephant. However I would contemplate driving up from Boston just to have their Singapore noodles again. It was so flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to the perfect texture. The level 2 spice in the online ordering menu was not spicy at all, but the food still had a good amount of sauce and flavor. The dish was definitely heavy on the noodles and probably only had 4-5 bite-sized pieces of tofu for protein, but the noodles certainly were my favorite part. And for only about $15-20 per main dish, this is one of the more accessible/affordable restaurants for vegan options in Portland!
