I've passed by this Kupfert and Kim so many times and there is always a line-up. In my attempt to eat better, I decided to give K&K a try. Kupfert and Kim claims to be meatless and wheatless restaurant, so far so good. But does that mean healthy? Well, no. Based on other Yelp reviews, I decided to order the Oaxaca. The food was overflowing and I could not close the top of the box. A pretty good deal for $13. I bit into the tortilla chip and immediately noticed how salty it is. I bit into the kale and beets and all I could think about was the salt content in the sauce. Underneath the kale is corn and black beans, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Underneath that is a bed of brown rice. I thought there was just too much rice (i.e. carbs). I can see why people love this dish -- it's very salty. However, I wouldn't call it healthy. If I were to order this again, I would skip the tortilla chips, place sauce on the side, and ask for more black beans and less rice.

Love this noble eatery. Great options, great ingredients; no bs. Highly recommend. Good quality.

Everything is great at Kupfert & Kim - wonderful, healthy, delicious food for your soul. This is food that nutritious your body. The staff are kind and helpful! The menu consists of a larger selection than the 1st Canadian Place. Admittedly, it is slightly more costly than other offerings in the PATH. It is, however well worth the extra cost, especially for your health. There are also great muffins, cookies and sweets options to keep your belly happy and energy high! Kupfert & Kim helps you go-on-and-on like the energizer bunny!

Fresh, quick, healthy. I got the first Canadian place and it was pretty good! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but am interested in vegan cuisine. Finding this place was pretty eye opening as there were things I haven't tried before. Tofu slices with nuts inside that was formed to look like a nougat, I've never tasted anything that before. I wasn't a fan of the tofu but it wasn't bad and I'd eat it again. I brought my box to waterfront and ate it there and it felt amazing. My food was effortlessly beautiful and it tasted good too.

Kupfert & Kim is a pretty great place for vegan food! A friend of mine picked up dinner for us on her way over to my house. I had never tried Kupfert & Kim before, so I tried the Great Canadian bowl. It was really good! It had a nice balance of fresh, sweet, and salty flavours. The pomegranate seeds were a nice textural addition. My only complaint was that the tempeh was very salty. My friend agreed with my critique as well. The menu is pretty wide so you can try many different things without getting bored. I'm really curious about the burger of day options, so that is likely my next thing to check out.

I can't speak to the specifics of my meal's healthiness or health factors (I'm more of a Popeye's kind of girl), but wow - if this is what healthy food tastes like, I would voluntarily eat it everyday. I visited on a Tuesday at exactly 12:00 PM and the lunch rush hadn't really begun yet, thankfully. After seeing the pictures, I ordered the Oaxaca (which I was told is apparently pronounced OH-HA-CAH - I butchered it the first time). I don't know how on earth they made the salad taste this delicious, but it was. Best "healthy" lunch I've ordered in the Financial District, filled with brown rice, black beans, kale, stringed beets, corn, tortilla chips and a mixture of pico de gallo, guacamole and cashew cream slathered all over these veggies. The sauce made the salad, and the combination of favours absolutely blew me away. My total was $10.40 plus tax, which was $11.75. Can't wait to come back and try the other options!

One of my favourite healthy spots in the Path. I love their Asian inspired box - the almond lime one. The prices are relatively reasonable for the path (around $10) and they usually have enough supply for dinner around 6:30pm as well. Even the hot sauce is vegan and green (it kind of looks like a green smoothie.

This little gem is hidden in the PATH under the First Canadian Place. It's wheatless and meatless! I ordered the First Canadian Place bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. There was quinoa, carrots, kale, tempeh, sweet potato and beat slaw dressed in a chia maple dressing. It also came with cabbage, but I opted out. You get SO much in the box, for such a little price! There was 3 people in line ahead of me, and they were still SO quick to get my food to me! I think I waited for 12 seconds before my meal was ready. Fast, cheap and delicious. Not to mention: HEALTHY!

It can be difficult to make health food taste good, but the line outside Kupfert & Kim during lunch hours is testament to just how good their food is. During my one month in Toronto, I tried everything on the menu and the workers probably know me by name. The green smoothie is one of the best veggie smoothies I've had, with a kick of ginger with the pear, banana, and kale. It definitely tastes nutritious and is not for palates accustomed to sugary Jamba Juice smoothies. They offer a variety of bowls, each with an amazing dressing that pairs perfectly with the ingredients in the box. One of my favorites is the Oaxaca, which is essentially a kale and quinoa salad topped with Mexican toppings like corn, pico de gallo, black beans, and avocado. They include a cashew cream that's drizzled on top, and the nutty flavor is perfect with the spices of the bowl. I also love the Kim, which is a Korean-style bowl with bok choy and marinated tofu. With so many different kinds of vegetables and flavors, it's extremely hearty and leaves me full for hours. With fresh and seasonal ingredients mixed up in novel ways, Kupfert & Kim is definitely one of my favorite lunch spots and will continue to be long after I'm back in San Francisco!

Got the first Canadian. It was skimpy and didn't reach the top of the box. I would skip it and go to urban omnivore instead.

It was so packed but my brother was able to save a table while I did the ordering. This was a very casual and self service type of restaurant in which you can order at the front desk or at their kiosk. They had a limited time "promotion" going on in which you can order a maximum of 2 orders of their xiaolongbao or steamed mini soup dumplings for $2.99 with a minimum spend of $10. But honestly, I've seen this promotion since last year so I'm thinking it's actually a permanent offer. We ordered two orders of their pan fried pork buns, 1 order of their pan fried chicken dumplings, and 2 order of their promotional steamed mini soup dumplings. I thought everything tasted pretty good. The pan fried buns and dumplings were very crispy and quite juicy. My only nitpick is that I wished they put some kind of veggies or chives in their filling. It was just meat and felt too 1 dimensional for me. The steamed mini soup dumplings was actually really good though which is such a surprise at this price point. The outer layer was very thin and the filling was packed with soup. It was very delicious and hearty. Are these the best Chinese dumplings and bun's I've ever had ? No, but they were great especially for the price point. I would definitely come back again next time I am craving Chinese dumplings and buns. Also they take Amex which is always a plus in my book.

I had a solo meal and asked the waitress for help and I loved how helpful she was. Richmond Station is well liked because of their hospitality, tip included structure, and fresh ingredients. I opted for the beef tartare as my app and the station burger. These were both amazing! The beef tartare came with a little bit of shaved veggies and a side of russet potatoes. The station burger was the best burger of my life. I had originally wanted to order the duck, but knew at my first bite exactly why Richmond Station is so popular. The burger came medium rare and was pasture raised beef with aged cheddar and chutney. The fries were a tiny bit burnt but still good, and the aioli it came with was great. Yum! We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and chose the tasting menu. To start, we were served a small bite of salmon tartare, which was quite flavorful. The scallop appetizer was refreshing, while the asparagus course felt a little underwhelming as a standalone dish. The two main courses were the highlights. The wild Quebec bass was fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was incredibly juicy and well seasoned. Although it came with a butter-based sauce, it wasn't heavy at all and paired perfectly with the bread. For dessert, the first one was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the ice cream was quite tasty. The six-course tasting menu was just the right amount for the two of us, although it might be a little small for bigger appetites.

A shame, because they had everything to make this a good dish! But, it's a Joey's, so my expectations are low. She went back to get their Halwah Latte (which she said was just OK) - Egg white Omlette Skillet: I customized my food and it was good -- for reference I've had better only because the cheese was feta and it was unclear that this was the only option as I don't love feta. Also I'm pretty sure while I asked for egg whites there was normal egg (i.e., eggs). If you order egg white make sure the server hears you. They screwed this up for me.
