Chicken Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Gobhi - 65, Vegetable Samosa, Garlic Naan (not pictured)

Only missing a star because i didn't get the whole experience. I ordered takeout - will update when i go in person. Chicken vindaloo - spicy. This was my favorite. I was craving something spicy and saucy and this hit the spot Butter chicken - medium. I don't think you can go wrong with this dish. It was really good but based on my craving of spicy/saucy this day, i could have gone up a spice level. However a few people i know can't handle higher than medium Garlic naan - 10/10! Gobi 65 and Samosa, both probably would have been better fresh/in person. While not bad tasting I will probably opt to try something new when I return.

10/10, and probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Katy now. Kurry Walah is nestled on Mason street in a complex with plenty of parking available. Upon arriving the interior was filled with the smell of spices, and everyone was very welcoming. There were 8-10 tables available for dine-in - small and intimate. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and dal makhani, both at a medium spice level. We were not disappointed. The chicken tikka masala was full of flavors and plenty of chicken pieces. The dal also very flavorful and full of spices. The garlic naan was thin, flaky, and crispy. We ordered a mango lassi to go (not pictured) and it was tangy, sweet, and creamy. We will definitely be back here again.

I just had a great experience at the lunch buffet. The food was delicious! I had vegetable pakora, chicken biriyani, chicken madras, tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka masala, paneer saagwalla, dual Tikka and accompaniments. I haven't been to an Indian food buffet in a while, but I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in town. Service was great. Very friendly.

I was in the Katy area and honestly this wasn't on my to go list but we decided to get Indian food and this place pop up in my search. It turned out to be fantastic. Don't know if the lady is the owner but she was very friendly and nice. The server also very attentive. Food to my surprise turns out to be good. We ordered garlic naans and cheese but the garlic was way better. Price range is very reasonable Overall we love it.

Kurry Walah was an unexpected delight on a late night that was not going as planned! My friend and I had been turned away from the restaurant that we originally planned to go to despite the website saying that they were open until 9PM. We decided to try to find somewhere close by, and we landed at Kurry Walah. The store front is tucked in the corner of a shopping center and is very unassuming. However, as soon as you walk into the restaurant, you are met with the sweet fragrance of cooking spices! The store was closing in 30 minutes but the staff happily sat us and served us a full meal. They were extremely pleasant and reassured us not to worry about the time. I ordered the chicken tikka masala which was delicious! The chicken was juicy and the curry very flavorful. My friend and I also ordered the bread basket to share - it was HUGE and came with five different types of naan! My favorite was the garlic naan. We left our dinner feeling very satisfied and with tons of leftovers! I would definitely return to Kurry Walah, even though it is a 35 minute drive from my home.

This food was so good! I'm talking straight comfort food. I enjoyed every bit of my food. I did door dash so service was good .

Great food and wonderful service and hospitality! It waa our first time here and they gave us a mango lassi on the house and it was delicious. Loved the chicken pakora. It was flavorful and it came it fresh and crispy. The pani puri was also good and sauces were fresh. The garlic naan and garlic naan with rosemary was also delicious. Everything I ordered was delicious but ranking in favorite: Chicken tiki masala Butter chicken Chicken curry (kinda taste burnt) idk that's what my daughter said but it tasted ok to me

Food was amazing. Customer service was literally the best. My family and I were treated so well. We were given recommendations and the manager (I'm assuming was the manager) made sure our experience was great. I will 100% be returning again. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Typical Indian lunch buffet. Nothing I ate made me nod my head and think, "that's good." I had two plates of tandoori chicken, butter chicken, rice and saag paneer. It wasn't good, but wasn't bad. The flavors seemed like they are dialed down for a specific customer base. Not your typical bold Indian flavors. The only way I will revisit this establishment is if one of my friends told me to meet here. $16.99 for lunch buffet. If you're new to Indian food and want to dip your feet and try something new, this is a good choice. Mildly flavored food so you're not bombarded with the traditional extreme Indian spices.

We love Kurry Walah but today was a bad day for buffet lunch. What was there was cold and most trays were half empty. There were no curry in sight. Chicken tikka masala was over sweet and the chicken was dry. Rest was all just lentils and patatos. We will be back but hope management fix these issues.

No one greeted us or really explained the process to us (I think certain items can be requested and naan automatically arrives at your table). We sort of just got situated and started grabbing food. Towards the end, they were running out of meat in the butter chicken tray (you can blame me), but no signs of urgency to refill. My coworkers didn't care for it, but I would still come back. The restaurant looked great, and I think they even had a karaoke machine, so we may come back for that on a free night. The only drawback was that I specifically asked if there were any nuts in any of the dishes, and was assured that there were none in the dishes that were recommended. However upon getting home and serving the dishes, we discovered that the rice porridge did indeed contain cashews, which our daughter is unable to eat. While we enjoyed the food and service, we only ask that the staff train up on learning the menu and what's in each dish so patrons can feel safe in their choices when they visit.

We had originally planned on trying out their buffet, but we showed up a bit too late where there were only bits of food left, and they weren't planning on refilling the buffet, so, we decided to stay anyway and to order off the menu..... and we're all glad we did! The interior is very spacious, casual, and clean.... and having shown up so late, there was no crowd, the place was peaceful and calm, and a great time for us to enjoy our meal.. with very good service focused only on us. I'm typically not familiar with Nepalese food, but perusing the menu, the dishes offered looked almost exactly like a typical Indian restaurant's menu, except there were some additional hybrid Indian/Chinese dishes, like the Momo dumplings that are typical and popular dish familiar to this Nepali region. Fortunately, there were four of us dining in and we were able to order a variety of dishes that sounded really yummy..... like the Steamed Chicken Momos (dumplings), Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower coated in a spicy sweet sauce), Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Lamb Curry, Saag Paneer, Lachna Paratha, and Garlic Naan. How was the food? I don't eat lamb or goat so I can't comment, but the others in the group mentioned the meat was a bit tough, but the curries tasted excellent. As for everything else, I did get to try it all, and everything was so hot, fresh, and prepared just perfectly.... so yummy delicious! Not too sweet, not to salty, and just a great balance of flavors and textures. My all time favorite Indian dish being the saag paneer....pureed spinach with cubes of goat cheese....yummeee! And went great with the breads fresh out of the oven..... very happy and satisfied! This place was a great find as we all enjoyed the food here very much. Service was very good, and with a very nice, casual, and pleasant ambiance. We don't visit here very often since we're from our of town, but if we do visit again, we'll definitely be back again.

The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here. Today was my last straw. The experience and food is noticeably different when chef Lori is not here. For $80 I expect my food to come fresh and delivered with the rest of the tables food. I don't expect to sit down for 10 - 15 minutes to then be notified they are out of what I ordered. I've sat down for an extra 5 - 10 minutes and I saw 10 empty tables with no line. The whole experience here has gone downhill and rapidly fast. To say the least, I will not consider myself a regular here anymore. I added an old picture because I really use to enjoy this place.
