Power steering went out shortly after that and I haven't driving the car for two months. Took it to a trusted mechanic shop to diagnose again LAST WEEK and they confirmed it's the transmission that needs to be inspected by a transmission shop. I'll remove this review if the transmission shop confirms it's the ecu as well that needs to be replaced.
