I brought my daughter's car in for a part replacement. From the start, their attitude was rude, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid upfront for the part they ordered, but they never communicated when it arrived--I had to keep calling just to get updates. After waiting 3-4 days, they finally received the part. I dropped the car off early in the morning as instructed and was promised same-day service. Again, no communication. I didn't get the car back until the following evening. Ruben claimed the car was safe to drive--even though my daughter has a baby she drives around with. Yet the car was still having issues. I took it to another shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed the exact same part still needed replacement. When I called Broadway Auto Repair about it, they refused to take responsibility and said I'd have to pay another labor fee for them to fix their mistake. This shop uses cheap parts, overcharges, and takes no accountability for their work. Erik offered no help whatsoever and insisted they weren't liable. What a joke. Save your time, money, and frustration--avoid this place at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. You've been warned.

He was so nice and free describing the issue he said it was probably the fan and to bring it in on Saturday (the next morning) and they could fix it. Now let me say that my daughter is NOT a ca person. She's lucky she gets her oil changed once in a while. They looked over my daughter's car after replacing the fan and found her brakes were almost to the pads. They replaced them and drove it around and called and said she needed the arms because of the wiggle when driven. They replaced those and aligned the tires (not sure about the sequence). They called and said it was ready. I then mentioned that she didn't have windshield wash because sh had a hole in the reservoir. They said they knew that too. I asked if they could replace it and that she also didn't have phone charging capabilities inside the car either. They said they would check the fuses. They ended up not charging me for the washer reservoir and the fuses. They even came and picked me up since I had no car! Her car is like brand new (ac works great) and should be good for another 100,000 miles. I highly recommend and will be going back.

They kept my car for 2 days looking for the real problem. They told me my converter was perfectly fine and the hanger was broken (a very small fix) and even sent me a video to show me the real problem. Something that simply needed to be welded was going to cost me $1100.00 had i not got a second opinion. Please do not take this shops word. They attempted to fix the oil leak three separate times, and it is still leaking. An independent technician later told me it appears they likely replaced only the gasket instead of the full (and commonly warped) cover -- meaning the repair was never going to hold. As for the A/C, it is still not working. Another technician found there was no refrigerant in the system and that there is a leak. Despite this, when I raised concerns, I received the following written response from them: "we've done our part and we've fixed your ac. [sic]" That was the extent of it. There was no acknowledgment of responsibility, no willingness to investigate further, and no attempt to stand behind their work. Instead, the tone was dismissive and defensive. I paid for repairs that were not properly completed. The lack of accountability and professionalism is deeply disappointing. Proceed at your own risk.
