Honest, outstanding customer service, very knowledgeable, and nice people. Being new to Austin we found ME Automotive through word of mouth and also Yelp reviews. We took our car in to get checked out after getting the oil changed at a national chain, and told by them that it had a couple of huge problems going on, that needed to be repaired. After a very thorough inspection by ME Automotive, we were told that it had neither issue as stated by the shop that did the oil change. We dealt with Jonathan, the manager, and Sandra who were both great. We appreciate their honesty, integrity, and really great customer service and will definitely use them in the future! read more

Listen guys - this place is the bee's knees when it comes to car care. I went to get my oil changed and car inspection and I have nothing but positive things to say. Where do I start? First, I was able to easily call and make an appointment same day. No annoying automated system, just a person that answered the phone and was able to answer all my questions. Second, they follow safety precautions when it comes to COVID which I greatly appreciate. Masks required and multiple hand sanitizer stations. Third, they have a cat! Her name is Tally and she will totally sit on your lap if you let her. Precious. Fourth, they went out of their way to brew me some coffee. Major bonus points for this. Fifth, and most important: the service was quick and affordable! I was in and out in less than the timeframe they estimated it would take for the work to be completed despite the fact that they were hella busy. And finally, friendly staff. Also seemed trustworthy and not as if they're just trying to squeeze money out of me for every little thing. 10/10 will be going here next time I need some work done. read more

Went to ME Automotive a few months ago because I wasn't happy with my previous shop so was looking for somewhere close with good reviews. Initially took it in just for an oil change to test the waters. I was really impressed with Jonathan and everyone else there. I spoke to several customers that came in and all were long time happy customers. A good sign. Several things that needed work were pointed out, which I already knew about, and was my real reason for paying them a visit. I took it back a short time later for all the major work it needed. One additional problem had come up since the first visit which was pointed out and an obvious issue that needed to be fixed. I had all the work done, much cheaper than the dealer wanted and also cheaper than my old shop. I was very pleased with the work and professionalism, and especially their honesty. They have a 2 year warranty on all their work. A cover I had brought in had been forgotten to put it on so Jonathan offered me a free oil change when they installed it and offered to do it on the spot (it was due for the next oil change). Due to my schedule I decided to wait a week or so. Then the pandemic struck. I was mostly staying home and not getting out. Several days ago I get a text from Jonathan about their safety protocols in place including pickup and drop off service with no personal contact. They picked it up that day and took care of it free of charge as originally agreed upon, even during these tough economic times for many businesses. If that's not going above and beyond for their customers I don't know what is. Today I got a follow up text from Jonathan making sure everything was done to satisfaction. I'll be going back for any additional auto work. While checking reviews and speaking to Jonathan it was learned that there is another shop on Manchaca rd with a similar name that doesn't have the greatest reviews. I had an awesome experience when I went into ME Automotive! I called before I went in, and spoke with Johnny. From beginning of phone call to end of service, he was very polite. He even checked to make sure that they had a filter for my vehicle before I'd drive over there to get my oil changed. These guys need more reviews and more business! They aren't in the best location that you'd expect to find a mechanic, but don't let that stop you. I'm not sure if they still have them, but you can find a coupon for an oil change on the back of your Buda HEB receipt. They replaced a cranshaft bearing in my truck and installed it backwards. It had a bad vibration and told me there was nothing they could do since my truck's cranshaft was not original, which was not true. They charged me over $200 and did a bad job. I took it to another shop and they took it out and installed it correctly for over $200. The owner of Me automotive refused to return my money claiming that I should had taken it back to them, but When I did they told me I had a defective crsnshaft and was not their fault.
