The brioche bun is great and the fillings are generous but was a bit disappointed in the burger patty - too small and didn't stand out in any way - if I hadn't ordered the extra patty ($1.50 extra) then it would have gone completely unnoticed amongst the fillings. Fries were tasty, though a touch salty but that's more a personal preference. Service was great, friendly and chatty cashier and food and drink arrived promptly. Value-wise, I was a bit surprised when my Mountain burger with extra patty, fries and a pint of IPA with tax and tip came to just shy of $20, For that price you have the Nugget 100 yds along the way which'll get you a bigger burger, Habit the other side of the freeway or for half the price you can head to In n Out and buy a 6-pack to take home :-) I'll come back and try the soups and salads though as it seems like they are being well received. Every time I go to the chiropractor (3 doors down) I always eat at Kyles Kitchen because this place is amazing!! Ok I am about to go rob this place to drink all of the strawberry lemonade that exists.... it's .. that .. good...... Additionally the seared ahi salad with sesame ginger dressing was absolutely perfect. The lettuce was super fresh which is the key aspect of a salad and the dressing was super yummy. I was not thrilled by the burger however. I felt it was really small meat for the amount of bread and it just felt kinda whimpy. The blue cheese was also too light and the bacon was not copious or thick or crisp enough. Also the carmelized onions were chopped onions..... that was the least impressive part to have a thick spoonful of wet chopped onions. They need a serious upgrade on the carmelized onions or just leave it off all together. I definitely however will be back tomorrow for lunch for a hearty salad and like a gallon of that out of this world strawberry lemonade. read more

This is our go-to take out place. The kids get the cheeseburger and fries and the adults get a burger and salad with the pair-it deal. We like the atmosphere and outdoor seating at the restaurant. We appreciate that there are usually sports on TV which is safe for young kids to sneak peaks at rather than something inappropriate. Everyone on here who says the burgers are too small- I hate to break it to you, but your portions are too big. This is the perfect size meal, especially the Pair It combo. Again, beef aficionados- if you want a huge slab of beef with lots of hormones grown wherever this maybe isn't for you. It is marketed as a I come here almost every week because the food is cheap, fast, and really good. I hate trying new places to eat but at Kyle's you're not just paying for food, you are becoming part of a community. Kyle is a wonderful kid and unlike any other restaurant in Goleta, this restaurant regularly gives back to the community through special needs organizations. If that doesn't pull at your heart strings, then come for the completely appropriately portioned meals and the truly awesome shakes. I order salads, burgers, soups- there are tons of options and nothing has ever disappointed. And if you are feeling up to it, try a cookiewich. They are amazing! Have I been missing a fork in my to-go bag sometimes? Yes. Have my fries been cold a couple of times? Yes. Is this a four star Michelin restaurant that we are critiquing here? If you are looking for a delicious burger and milkshake this is the place to go. We had the mountain climber burger with double patties. Was seriously good- a little heat but not overwhelming. The bun was perfect and flavor was spot on. Also got the Thai peanut salad. The salad was good, but the portion seemed small for $9. Maybe if it had come with chicken it would have better value. Don't forget to get a shake! Had the classic chocolate and it was amazing! Overall great meal, the place was clean, and the service was quick. I tried Kyle's Kitchen for the first time today. I have been living in Santa Barbara for a couple months and a friend recommended Kyle's Kitchen. I wasn't sure what to order, but the gentleman behind the counter named Ryan was a pleasure to talk to and provided excellent and friendly customer service. He suggested the mountain climber and I also ordered a cucumber mint lemon aid and a side of fire fries. I have to say, the burger was excellent, juicy and full of flavor toped with just the right amount of crispy onions and compliment well with pepper jack cheese. Overall my experience was wonderful with great customer service, a great vibrant atmosphere and not to mention some good quality food. Very disappointed. Each time that I order the thai salad with chicken, however tasty, I am always missing ingrediants. Today I decided to review, because so much was missing. No wonton strips, no peanuts and no green onion. Also I never receive the bread that is supposed to be included. Today, the lettuce was horribly wilted. Something appears to be going amiss with the quality control. We like your restaurant, however it is a shame that I have never received this salad as the menu describes. read more

I found this awesome place on Yelp looking for char burgers while I was down. The food was wonderful and the staff very nice. I tried everything on the menue while there and wasn't let down. One afternoon I got to meet Kyle himself and what a great little guy. Plus the best part is they give part of the proceeds to developmentally disabled. It's also very affordable. Was looking forward to the food. Ordered online and arrived 10 mins early letting the boy know I was there. He said not prepared yet. Waited 10 mins past pickup time and figured I would ask again. Sorry he said they never made the chicken sandwich. Now it's been a total of 50 mins while I watch a minimum wage staff not care about their customers. Oh and watching one of the guys eat fries that have fallen out of other guests fries basket was a joy. Maybe the food is good but stay in touch if you hope to get your order. Well first off, the place always seems to be dirty. I get that customers can leave their trash for the staff to clean but they aren't very attentive. I ordered the cheesy pig and fries, the bacon was way too hard to even bite into. The fries were literally crumbs and hard ones at that, also pretty cold. I could barely bite into any. I told the cashier and he offered me new fries but that took another fifteen mins. While I waited I noticed they have food waiting to go out for about five mins before anybody even realizes there's anything there. I guess that's why all the food was cold. read more
