We forked out the $69.00 rental for the day as we wanted to explore the city before checking into our hotel, and go shopping. It was also nice as my husband and son used the car as a crash pad to catch some ZzzzS while I was parked at Pike Market Place and went shopping alone. The return wasn't as smooth as the pick-up from the airport as the street signs were CONFUSING as heck. No left turn except for buses onto 3rd, what??? We circled around and around using Waze app due to multiple one-way streets. The entrance to Alamo for the garage wasn't really marked, either. It was the Twilight Zone. After about a stupid and ridiculous 20- minute drive being stuck on one-way streets and circling around and around, I said, "screw this! I am turning LEFT!" Once into the building, there were no signs, so we drove up a few flights to an Alamo booth and idled the car, wondering what to do. There were no signs, did I already say that? There was a lone woman in a booth talking to what appeared to be a customer. I had to get out of the car to ask her what to do, and she said we could just park the car. She was nice, though. You need sleuthing skills to return a car here. Convenient, but only if you know what you are doing.

However, after leaving the lot we began to notice it was full of personal receipts, snacks, masks and a permeating, sharp sour odor. Although it had the seal of approval of the previous cleaner on the dash, ( which I gave to the second cleaner when returned), she took the original, hand-signed authorization( that he had completed his job) to her office, never to return. We were unable to settle this situation at the lot, but have pictures, including the personal papers. We left the snacks and masks as is, but I have pics if you would like to see them. Honestly, we had to wipe everything down, but couldn't eradicate the smell! I'm glad that we all had our vaccinations because, this is a Pandemic!!!!! I have spent much more time on this than it should have taken to resolve this. The other portal would not accept information and bounced me 4 times, and agents have rerouted me 5 times. No one seemed to be able to help. Sent from my iPad

And the gas economy is simply unbelievable! Alyson is an amazing host, she's fun and pleasure to deal with. She takes a real good care of her cars. She urgently changed the car that I initially booked a day before the trip, because that car turned out to have some mechanical issues. I was really glad that it was all resolved before the trip and not on the road. Besides, this shows that Alyson has her cars mechanically checked before every trip, so I felt safe driving Bianka. Check in and check out process were contactless and easy. I'm definitely going to rent one of Alyson's cars next time i'm in Seattle! Thank you Ava!

I was informed that returning the vehicle downtown would result in an unexpected additional charge of approximately $200. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through customer service, I spent nearly two hours being transferred, waiting on hold, and receiving conflicting information. During that time, I was unable to enjoy the activities I had planned for my trip. The most frustrating part was not the fee itself--it was the complete lack of ownership, consistency, and customer service. Every representative seemed to provide different information, and no one appeared empowered to solve the problem. Vacation time is valuable. I can earn back money; I cannot get back two hours of a once-a-year trip. A company that depends on travelers should understand that. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone renting from Budget obtain written confirmation of every aspect of their reservation and return arrangements. Had I known how difficult this would be, I would have chosen a different rental company. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had in years.

I rented the car for pick up by the Space Needle, and drop off at the airport. Paul quickly brought up my reservation. He even offered an upgrade to an available SUV he had, but I decided to keep the sedan since I didn't have a need for a bigger car, but appreciate the kind gesture! After signing the normal documents and paying, Paul led me to the parking garage in the back. We had a quick chat and he mentioned he had been working a lot and that Budget is his family run business. It was good to hear more about him...hopefully you can take a well-deserved break soon Paul! I got a 2021 Subaru which was definitely fun to drive! There were some scuffs and some damage along the side, but Paul re-assured me that it was already marked in the system. The car did use up more gas then I had hoped, but was definitely driving a new-ish car! Paul gave me paper slip to get out of the parking garage and it was easy sailing from there! Drop off at the airport was easy as well . Thank you Paul for the great service. Will definitely rent from Paul's location whenever I'm back in Seattle. Highly recommend!

I couldn't make it that early due to family stuff, so I called them to let them know I was still coming to pickup today, albeit a lot later than anticipated. Note: google maps and other such apps all say they're open until 5:30pm (which is why I wasn't worried in the lift ride over here) but they actually claim to close at 5:00pm. Never rent from here unless you wish for your trip plans to be derailed before they even begin. But the staff team that works the SeaTac venue was truly seamless. It was Gabe who first assisted me to confirm my paperwork and I think that took less than 10 minutes because I've been able to make the reservation by phone. I want to be really clear that I talked to a human to make the reservation and that made all the difference for me. The online version of it was inefficient and didn't allow me to ask questions and get clarification that I needed so I hope Enterprise continues to allow customers to talk to human Customer Service representatives because not all questions can be answered online. Then I was sent to the next area which involved some trepidation because it was a vast area of garage space but immediately Natalie who was part of Enterprise approached me and took my tentativeness and turned it into confidence. She walked me past several areas and made sure that I was put into a vehicle that suited my concerns. And instead of feeling limited by my selection upstairs I felt I was actually given some options in which car I could land in. That made a tremendous difference. Her welcome was genuine and she was very helpful. So between Gabe and Natalie I had a great car pick up experience. And then I'd like to mention Christian who helped me get out of my car when I returned it 24 hours later. He helped me figure out why I would not get a day return back Despite returning at 12 hours earlier, and he was friendly and very positive about his work. I think he was celebrating a work anniversary actually but I don't remember which one it was. Regardless kudos to Enterprise for having such great staff work with us to make a car pick up and car returns simple and seamless. My only issue now is that I left some keys in the car and I would love to figure out how to get a hold of them. I did email Enterprise but have not heard back. I wonder if there is a more direct route to figuring out Lost and found items?

I've used several different companies before but Enterprise generally has a pretty good rate. My last experience with Enterprise was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. At first, it was nice that they offered the choice of a car to me, and provided some full-size sedan options at no cost for an upgrade. I took a Nissan Altima. As soon as I pulled out of the registration, warnings started going off on my dashboard about low tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and noticed it was enough to make it to my destination so I didn't pay it any mind. The destination I went to had no service stations nearby, so I e-mailed into Enterprise to ask about the issue. They said I could return the car or pull into a Firestone. It took a few days for me to get to the Firestone but once I did, the technicians took a look and found a deeply embedded nail into the tire that was slowly leaking air. I had attributed the tire pressure fluctuation to the cold weather. They filled the tire back up enough to where I would make it back to the airport. I reported the issue immediately via e-mail and to the manager on site. I'm leaving a 3-star instead of a 1-star because previous experiences have been fine, but this last one was straight up dangerous. Inspect your cars well before taking them out.
