I had such a hard time deciding on what to get because everything looked so good here! I opted for the shoyu ramen and had no regrets. There's an option to request for less salt in the broth which I really appreciated. It hit the spot without making me feel like I sacrificed my kidney. The texture of the fresh noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth had just the right punch to it without being too oily. The chashu had the right amount of fattiness. My friend got the tonkatsu red and loved it. He's not normally someone that compliments food so I was a bit surprised. We both wiped our bowls clean and left no noodz behind. We also ordered a shareable agedashi tofu which was delicious as well. Service was great. The staff was polite and checked in on us a few times. The space is very modern and well kept. There's a lot of tables so it isn't a problem bringing larger groups here. Parking is very easy since it's in a huge lot. It's been awhile since I've found a ramen spot that thoroughly impressed me. I can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu items!

This place hits the spot as we were returning from Nor Cal. Clean place with friendly staff. Our food came out quick. Our ramens were flavorful and good portioned. The black garlic oil was just right, not overpowering.

Really enjoyed everything we ordered. The katsu curry was super good and the tonkotsu ramen was great too. My favorite was the lemon soba though, it was really refreshing and had such a nice flavor. I'd definitely come back again!

Right amount of spice for extra spicy. Just enough to make you clear your throat after the initial mix.

Food review will be in pics. Service was great. Made sure you had everything you needed. Interior decor is minimalist but just right.

I came with my mom to try this place out since we pass by it often. We tried the spicy tonkotsu and the shiso ramen. Me and my mom concluded that we both like the shoyu ramen more because it had more flavor without being that milky/thic viscosity. The service was good

Goes without saying that we always get our moneys worth as a family when we come here. Our plates and bowls are usually wiped clean because we love it so much. My son is a picky eater but yet he can inhale two orders of the chicken cutlet in one sitting. This place is my daughter's favorite ramen spot. Even when we now have moved from the area we still find ourselves coming here. We have been coming here for years and it always feels like we are eating at my grandmas house. The decor and seating is comfortable. Not to mention the great service we get!! One time the manager was there and offered my kids free ice cream. This will always be a part of our favorite restaurants to eat at.

This place has always been my go to whenever I'm in the area. Each of the ramen they offer are good and flavorful. One dish I don't really like is the Chicken Karaage (hard and stale). The reason I am giving this place 3 stars only because THEY'RE SO STINGY WITH THEIR AC!! It's been like high 90s to 3 digits lately!! Yet they don't have AC OR A FAN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS?!?!? I came today (07/26/26) I was suffering and sweating while eating my ramen!!! I was about to complain but the table next to us went ahead and did it. Yet the staffs did nothing!!! 0_0.. The people that complained couldn't take it anymore they had to take the food to go!!!!. I guess they expect their customers to faint while eating ramen or something!??!?! Will not be coming back..

Really enjoyed my ramen! They give PLENTY of toppings! My only issue was that I wish it was more hot. It came out a bit lukewarm. They were really fast with the food and we were one of the first ones there after they opened at 5pm. The restaurant was also really clean and welcoming! I'll definitely be back!

4 stars for tasty food, big portions, and friendly staff. Ironically, I like their other food more than their ramen, though there have been some hits and misses. *** This small restaurant is located in a quiet strip mall. My bf and I usually come here on a weeknight. Otherwise, they get quite busy with guests and take out orders. Most tables seat 2-4. I like the brightly lit wooden interior. It's casual, with TVs, One Piece figurines, and alcohol bottles decorating the walls. Service is generally good. There was one employee who was super sweet and fast. Another person who might have been the owner was also kind. We've had only one hiccup in our overall dining experience. There was one time when our table didn't receive both entrees at the same time even though every other table did. We basically didn't get to eat together. APPETIZERS ORDERED - Pork Buns ($8.95 - 2 pcs). Juicy, slightly fatty, melt-in-your-mouth ribbons of pork topped with pickled onion, green onion, and a sweet and sour sauce. Delicious! The white bun was also warm and soft. - Spam & Tamago Musubi ($4.5). This was good, but hard to eat because of the sweet soy glaze drizzled on top. It got all over my hands as I was eating, and I'm sure I looked insane. Otherwise, the egg was fluffy and juicy and the spam was not too salty. The rice was perfectly chewy. - Side Salad ($6). Neatly sliced green lettuce topped with canned yellow corn and plum tomatoes. The dressing was light, cool, and refreshing the first time we got it. It was on the blander side with a hint of sesame and herbs. When we ordered it again, the dressing was out of this world! It had smoky roasted sesame, sweetness from some sort of fruit, tanginess, and a hint of spiciness from horseradish or mustard or something. ENTREES ORDERED - Beef Curry with Rice ($14.50). The beef was good and on the thicker side compared to gyudon meat. The curry was also good: savory, slightly sweet, mildly spiced, and not too salty. I really liked the carrot and potato and wished there was more of it. The rice that day was chewy, but a little soft for me. The toppings of green onion, seaweed, and half of a marinated egg were quite generous. In fact, the portion was so massive that I took half of it to go. While the side of miso soup was sort of lacking on the miso, it had a nice umami flavor. The pickled carrot and onion were alright. - Butadon ($14.50). The meat was thicker than I would have liked for a rice bowl. I didn't like the sauce at all; it was very salty and sweet. It also could have used more onion flavor. My bf said the poached egg helped balance the salt. - Cold Original Ramen ($16.50). This was a summer special that seems to have stuck year-round. Even though I don't like cold noodles in general, I enjoyed the chewy texture of this cold ramen noodle. The cherry tomatoes were fresh. Julienned cucumber was also good choice, but the wet lettuce was not for me. I thought the broth was just okay. Something about its acidity and sweetness reminded me of Italian salad dressing without the herbs. - Tonkotsu Original Ramen ($16.95). The serving was large enough for my bf and I to share. I liked the creaminess of the broth, but it was more garlicky than porky - not what I was looking for. The toppings were generous and included 4 slices of chashu instead of only 2 like most places. The chashu had good grilled flavor with a light sweetness, but the meat was harder than I liked. We made the ramen a combo by adding 2 pieces of agedashi tofu for $4. I enjoyed the silken tofu bathing in umami dashi stock. The light fry on the tofu gave it that thin layer of chewy "skin" that I go feral for! For $2, the side of plain blanched bok choy was expensive - but at least it was cooked well.

We tried Dashiwa Ramen and it was definitely worth it. The soups were so flavorful. I ordered the Tonkotsu with chicken, no egg, and my husband got the Mi-So-Hot mild. He didn't really care for the seaweed, but everything else was really good. I thought it was such a cute touch that the soup bowl was served on a little cutting board. For dessert, we got the mini pancake with vanilla ice cream, and it was so delicious. The pancake was stuffed with some kind of filling, which made it even better. The restaurant had a really good vibe and was clean. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even recommended other soups for us to try next time. We both also had the Thai milk tea, which was semi-sweet and very good. I also noticed they have lunch specials on the wall. Definitely worth trying.

Super tasty Ramen/Curry spot. First time trying out this place, the ambience was nice and clean. Loved the Studio Ghibli films playing on their TV. The wall decor was simple and cohesive, the other tv had their menu or picture of items from menu. Ordered online for pick-up. Great amount of food but small, multiple packages. Also wished there was more curry, got enough veggies but not enough sauce. They also forgot utensils but had some at home. Will def come back to try more items, the service dinning in looked good. They bring out your ramen in food cart.

No frills ramen spot that's perfect for a quick, filling meal. Their lunch specials and happy hour deals offer great value, and the staff was happy to provide chili oil on request. I tried the black garlic ramen, which was very satisfying, though the chashu pork had a surprising sweetness to it that felt a bit out of place.

    CHICKEN CUTLET CURRY
    Ren M.

This place's ramen was amazing! Girlfriend and I ordered the chicken katsu curry, tonkotsu spicy ramen, and mazesoba. The chicken katsu itself was nice and crispy and chicken was cooked perfectly. It was really delicious. The curry itself was nothing special, and we've had better. My gf really liked the mazesoba and I really enjoyed my tonkatsu ramen. The broth for my ramen was very rich and flavorful. Perfectly creamy and super tasteful. The chashu was nice and tender as well. Everything about the mazesoba was great as well and my gf had no complaints. Customer service was good and the place is nice and clean with a Japanese authentic vibe. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Hamburger Hayashi Rice, and the meat was incredibly moist and flavorful. But the real star of my palate was the Katsu Pork Curry! This dish was SO delicious. Located at the promenade and can be easy to miss since they don't have a huge sign or anything. Right across from Wing Hop Fung. We were seated immediately since it wasn't too busy. We got two katsu curries and 1 hamburg curry. The hamburg curry does take a little longer to prepare. Trying out the katsu curry, it was pretty salty overall. Mild spicy, but not spicy at all. The katsu is also pretty tough to eat at certain parts (usually the edge), and doesn't slice that cleanly when cutting it into smaller pieces. The miso soup was also a bit salty, but the salad was pretty nice and refreshing! We also got to try a bit of the hamburg curry and that one actually tasted better than the classic katsu curry... disappointing that even the signature misses the mark. Overall, it just tastes like how it's advertised, "Tokyo-style inspired". Employees were nice and attentive for checking in on us!

First off, the takoyaki octopus balls were full of flavor. I feel that this place does them really well. You don't feel overwhelmed by any seafood tastes and instead, you get well balanced flavor throughout every bite with the combination of the ball itself, the sauces and the flakes on top. Next is the omurice. The egg is cooked to perfection and tastes absolutely amazing. The curry, however, which was recommended by the waiter over the Demi glaze, tasted exactly like the Vermont curry cube you get in the grocery store, so I'm not sure why he recommended that over the Demi glaze. The fried rice within the omurice was alright too. Originally, I wanted to get the tonkatsu omurice but got it on the side as the choice wasn't available for the lunch menu. I would suggest doing without the tonkatsu because it was dry and there's a million and one places that can do tonkatsu better than this place. Honestly, I wish I had the opportunity to cut the omurice myself and choose how much curry I put on it, but the staff did that instead, which I guess made for a good video, but took away from my innate desires to cut the egg on my own haha. Next, the ramen tasted pretty basic like what you could get at any ramen shop. For the chicken wings, I've never had chicken wings in this flavor. They were really really good and I would definitely recommend the wings. For the desserts, I enjoyed both the matcha and the snow globe. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, however. The snow globe is a gelatin and it doesn't really have too much flavor until you get to the parts with the flower. Plus the little clear balls have a nice flavor and texture. For the matcha, it has an interesting texture and then an interestingly light, yet deep matcha flavor. Oh the drinks. The Thai tea tastes exactly like how it does everywhere else. The amazing lemonade is a lemonade with a few slight modifications, like with cucumber and maybe some other things as well. For the service, it's pretty good here. Everyone is pretty attentive. There are three things at the table, such as cayenne pepper and two other bowls you can add to your dishes to add flavor. I forgot the name of the one I liked but it looked kind of like pork floss or loose tea, and that one had a lot of flavor. I think what's most appealing about this place is the ambiance because you can like sit in a honeycomb, there's fancy designs everywhere and you feel like you're in a different place. I think it's a good restaurant but it's kind of weird how some things here are amazing and some are just okay.

Parking is kind of limited, however, so I recommend avoiding peak dinner/lunch hours. Servers were very kind and efficient.

The item we get the most is tonkatsu pork cutlet with egg omelet, rice and curry. The curry is just a sauce, no extra chunks of vegetable like carrot or onion but after trying numerous spots, we really enjoy the flavor and seasoning of the curry. The pork is always juicy and well-friend and the egg adds extra protein and texture. Instead, there are steamed broccoli florets which I like even better. The other item I'm obsessed with lately is the Tomato Wagyu Patty Rice Bowl. White rice is topped with a smallish wagyu hamburg patty of sorts, a tomato "salsa" which is like a chunky tomato sauce. The tomato sauce is addictive and it's great mixed with the rice. My only qualm with this dish is that it could use two patties, or even three to complement the amount of rice. We had a bit of a curry katsu kick and tried the dish from numerous restaurants in the area. I can safely say that Curry Flurry remains at the top of our list.

He suggested the bowls instead of bento box to get more food :). Food wise: great. The teriyaki chicken was yummy. I do wish sauce came on the side and not in the bowl because there was quite the puddle of sauce at the bottom. It was a runnier and lighter sauce than normal but still yummy. Tonkatsu was cooked well and a good meat to batter ratio. Sometimes places skimp out and give too much breading. The curry was tasty and had a nice kick to it! Drinks: SO MUCH DRINK. I was not expecting cups THIS big. Wow. Talk about bang for your buck with the food AND drinks! My bf got the mango passion fruit slush and it was heavy on the mango and the aftertaste always passion fruit. I got the white grape and lychee yogurt drink and it was good. I could taste more lychee but that's chill! Not complaining! I even had lychee bits at the bottom! We got charged for an extra drink so the owner said we could either get a new drink or get a refund. My bf said he could have creative freedom with a drink. He made a lychee pineapple green tea slush! Pretty good

The combo consists of rice, clay pot soup, and either herbal jelly (dessert) or iced lemon tea. My favorite is the Cantonese cured meat. For soup I usually get the gingseng soup with silkie chicken which is packed with flavor and nutrients. I have tried both the herbal jelly and iced lemon tea, however my favorite would be tea. At first I thought the herbal jelly was drink, but I was surprised when it arrived as a turtle shaped jelly. Parking: there is a huge lot behind the restaurant. Service: quick and efficient

You can enter from either the front or back door. When we arrived for dinner on a Saturday evening, it was pretty empty, but by the time we left, it was packed! We ordered the Clay Pot Steamed Rice Combo that comes with any clay pot rice, any clay pot soup, and a drink (herbal jelly or iced lemon tea). We got the Cantonese Cured Meat with Steamed Rice Clay Pot and the Coconut Soup with Silke Chicken. The Cured Meat was tasty, and I like that you get some gai lan with it. The soup wasn't really my taste, but it did taste warm and nourishing. I got the Daily Combo Special which comes with an Omelet Curry Rice, Tonkatsu or Chicken Katsu and an iced lemon tea or soda. It also comes with a side salad. The katsu itself was decent, but the omelet egg is not seasoned at all. It really needs to curry sauce to go with it. Overall, not bad. Probably closer to 3.5 stars?
