The bread was so good I forgot to take a picture, but I did ask for some to go, I don't want to open the bag to take a photo because it's so warm and fresh! The salad was great and the homemade dressing even better. My friend loved the mushroom baguette, I snuck a shroom and it was so good I said I want to come back for lunch!! I know this because I've been there, and I'm a huge alumnus of sorts of their original hole-in-the-wall Dearborn location, since moved and transformed into one of Downtown Dearborn's most modern and classy eateries. Walking into L.A Bistro I instantly felt a positive atmosphere with a welcoming staff. I was intrigued when I was seated and handed a menu because this isn't your typical paper menu... it's an ELECTRONIC MENU. Every menu option had a picture when clicked and the menu was organized and easy to navigate. The food was phenomenal; delicious and fresh. The quality of their food definitely matched the quality of their staff. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It was my first time meeting everyone and I felt as though I've known them for years. I'm looking forward to coming back to L.A Bistro and enjoying some great food and company. read more

Stopped into this restaurant on our way into Canton. Upon walking in, the place is bright and clean. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. I was excited for a good meal after a long car ride. The menus were digital, which was a cool feature. It allows you to see images of the food and descriptions of each. There's also a lot to choose from on the menu. From pizza to chicken, wraps, and more. My husband and I started with the hummus and pita, which was my favorite part of the evening. I could've eaten mounds of that. However, the main course was just standard. We ordered margarita pizza, veggies, and one of the chicken dishes. Our food didn't arrive at the same time and I felt like it was just okay when we did bite into it. I guess I was expecting a little more Wow, given the ambiance. The part that concerned me though was that the wait staff would ocassionally have their masks underneath their noses. I was glad when they opened up the side doors for a little extra ventilation. Since I'll be moving to Canton soon, I'd like to give this place another shot and try something new! read more

Food was really great (buffalo chicken wrap with some of the best fries I've ever had). Taking off one star because the server (older gentleman with an accent) almost ruined a perfect lunch with my BFF. Way to aggressive pushing the pop (we said no, okay? could *not* take no for an answer) and then he wanted to chat with us a long time. First time. The service was exceptional. It felt seamless, refills on drinks arrived quickly and plates cleared as needed. Servers were extremely accommodating to our requests. Owner came by and greeted us. It was quite nice. The place inside is beautiful and very modern. The food was great. The calamari was a little salty and the hummus needed more garlic but that is just personal preference. The warm bread is heavenly and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. What I didn't care for- the tablet menu. I like to look at a menu, flip pages, go back and forth-- I also want to know a price before I even consider an item. We are on a budget and I didn't like having to see an item, realize the price, and make another decision. I would rather see prices ahead of time. I thought the food was a little pricey but with the excellent service, taste of food, and really pretty atmosphere it makes sense. Also.. we don't need a new straw with each refill. I also agree that cloth napkins would be preferred because of the atmosphere as well as waste. We probably would only go back for a very special occasion but that is just because we don't go out to more upscale restaurants all that often. read more

My husband and I tried this place based on the reviews. We don't live in the area and searched for a restaurant with decent ratings. On a Saturday night, it wasn't busy. Our first clue. The restaurant was clean and the menu was on a tablet. I got the spaghetti bolognese and hubby got the seafood combination of salmon, BBQ shrimp and risotto. It appears the owners are middle easterners because no alcohol is served. The choices on the menu are more than standard middle eastern fare, but my spaghetti tasted nothing like Italian spaghetti. It possibly had ground lamb in the sauce?? The sauce was less tomato tasting. Thick and hard to describe. Wouldn't recommend it. The bread was good but not made in-house. Kind of a white wheat mixture. Smaller than normal pita. Our waitress's apron was covered in food stains. Hubby's dish was $44!! Hardly a high-end restaurant. We don't recommend this place. If I'm paying that kind of money, it better be outstanding in all respects. read more

Went to lunch with girlfriend menus are on iPad had to clean them before we looked but otherwise place was great our waiter could not do enough for us portion size is huge. It was surprising to fine a halal Italian place but you could tell that it's popular by quickly it filled up for dinner. They have a nice size banquet room for special occasion. First off, let me say that I have never felt so compelled to actually take the time to leave a review for a restaurant, as I have after going to LA Bistro. This is quite rare for me to do, however I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! My husband and I have been to LA bistro in Canton 3 times now, trying new things each time, and have been pleased more and more with each visit. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Portions are huge and you get a salad with just about every meal, including sandwiches. Their house salad is absolutely delicious. The almond chicken, rice bowls, salmon, and chicken portobello wrap are all amazing, too. The restaurant is incredibly clean and the staff is so genuinely friendly. The atmosphere, staff, and amazing food will have us coming back again and again. There is nothing that compares in the Canton area and I'm so glad they chose to open a location here! read more

Came here for lunch and it had great reviews so we were very excited. To start, we were given bread for the table. It was delicious and warm and a large amount for two people. Our entrees came with salads. I got the house salad - I loved their dressing, it was creamy and full of flavor. I loved it so much I was dipping my fries in it after. My husband got a Caesar salad, he said it was good. I got the caprese sandwich and asked for chicken on it. I wish it was a chicken breast rather than chopped chicken, but I can't be too picky because it was an add on item I requested- but the chicken pieces were messy and kept falling out. But my sandwich was soo good. The bread was warm and crispy. I don't think there was much pesto mayo on there because I didn't taste it very much. But what I did was delicious. The plating was cute with the basket of fries. The fires are really good crispy and had lots of seasoning. My husband got the chicken Parm sandwich. He loved it. The portion sizes were large but will be awesome for leftovers. Love the cute mason jars for cups. Service was friendly and helpful and quick. Went for a family dinner a couple of weeks back and was met with a very enjoyable experience. The service was friendly and we got our food pretty quickly too which is always a plus. Finally, I greatly enjoyed the ambiance! It gives off that fancy but not pretentious vibe where you wouldn't feel out of place walking in a suit...or a t-shirt. I ran home to write this review. It was that great. We were early. 11 am but we had lots of talking to do. My friends live in Rochester hills, I live in lenawee county. This is a good half way point. The service here is impeccable. We stayed for 3 hours. THey were kind, they kept refilling our drinks and we were so grateful. That being said the food was also VERY good. We had a veggie pizza, a chicken wrap and a burger. All were delicious. Well presented and hot! With so many places available for your food dollar this establishment is far and away worth your patronage. FYI no alcohol served here. read more

I'm really trying not to write bad review, but I really wasn't happy with my food at this new restaurant in Canton. I ordered Chicken Piccata.....Oh my, I was so disappointed in the Chicken Piccata. It didn't have that mild lemon sauce with capers, it was thick and gravy like sauce, smeared on top of two breaded chicken breast on a bed of basmati hard-half cooked rice and seasoned veggies. Sorry, this just my opinion, it maybe delicious to the next person, the restaurant was pretty busy and parking lot full. So, somebody is enjoying the food. I may try it again and order some else. I love the interior in the avian. By the way my husband had the chicken cacciatore and he wasn't happy with his food either. read more
