My mom and I ordered delivery from here and, based on the reviews, I admit I had high expectations and they were totally met! We were in the mood for serious comfort food so I got the Linguine Frutti Di Mare ("shrimp, scallops and mussels tossed with linguine noodles in lemon garlic cream sauce") and my mom get the Chicken Portobello Rice Bowl ("grilled chicken, sautéed portobello mushroom, green pepper and onion, served over a bed of warm basmati rice topped with jack and cheddar cheese, pesto ranch, and our house salad") and holy cow-- the portions were HUGE. We both easily got two meals out of our dishes (I reheated mine on the stove top in a pot and it was just as I had it the first day. My mom's was massive. I think she could have gotten 3 meals from it, to be honest. And it was just $13! My pasta was a little pricier but the seafood kicked it up a few notches on the price point. But it was worth it as the seafood was perfectly cooked and very fresh. We also ordered some hummus to keep on hand for the next few days for a snack and it was delicious. Hubby and I visited this location for an early dinner (1:30 pm) on Valentine's Day. We were seated and handed small tablets to browse the menu. Our waitress came over quickly with a small basket of pita bread and she asked us if we knew how to use the tablets (they were easy to use). I decided on a chicken rice bowl which came with a salad in the same bowl (see pic). Although I liked the salad and the rice with chicken, I'm not sure I enjoyed them both in the same bowl. Some of my salad was mixed in with the chicken and rice (I don't mind mixed food but salad and hot food?). The chicken was tender and had good flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the salad dressing on the salad. I liked this dish but I would definitely try something different next time. Hubby ordered the chicken Parmesan. He loved the chicken. So tender and flavorful. I tried it too and I thought it was the best I've ever had. Hubby said the spaghetti and sauce were also very good! He would definitely get this dish again!! Um, interesting. I'm not sure what to say. Tries to be "fine dining" but you're sitting in a slightly upgraded diner. No alcohol. The dishes are mostly in the $18-$35 range, though you could spend $85 on a steak if you wanted to. (Not here, please). All of the dishes I saw were smothered in the same white cream sauce, which tasted like a ton of butter and cream. I'm a little suspicious of all the positive reviews. The most amazing food ever they're all McChicken their eggplant chicken Parm. Everything was delicious. This spot has been opened in our neighborhood for about teo years. I didnt ever think to go here dor whatever reason, well that was a mistake. My husband and i came for a date night and was astonished. The owner was amazing cane ober and personally asked if we had been there, ran down all of the amazing choices on the menu and was very informative. We had the lobster bruschetta and omg!! Plenty of vegetarian options with unique menu items. Off the beat from the regular Italian or the Mediterranean. It's more of a hybrid of both. So far my favorite items. Came here for the first time with family. I was excited to try the almond chicken dish. We got calamari which I thought was good. Firecracker shrimp should be revamped or renamed because everyone on the table thought it was just lathered with bbq sauce there was nothing spicy or Asian about it. Almond chicken meal was delicious. Chicken parm was good but the pasta was drowning in what looked like vodka sauce or something I took one but and it was just too much to handle. My niece got a dish that was almost very lacking in flavor. The booths need updating as well the cloth where u put ur back r dirty from kids smearing food or whatever on them. As far Mediterranean food goes, I have to say that this place is really solid. First of all, I have to say that this place is clean, organized, and stylish. The servers are really attentive, quick, and friendly. As soon as I was done with a plate, someone would come by to take it away. When we ran out of bread, we were almost immediately asked if we wanted more. I ordered the Portabello Steak dish, and it was delish! The flavors are vibrant, without being over seasoned. Not too salty, and the steak wasn't overly chewy. In fact, the steak was nice and tender. The only complaint I have is the amount of dressing in the salad, but that might just be a personal preference, as I'm not really much of a dressing guy. Also, this place knows how to feed you. I'm the type of guy who eats ginormous portions, and this place more than deliver on that front. I haven't had a good Mediterranean place since I moved here from California, (other than Casablanca), and I'm really glad I found this place. My first bad experience.. I show up after ordering 25min prior. I am greeted and give my name . The hostess goes to check my order and comes back and says nothing. They sent my order out to someone else and didn't want to tell me. So I sit for another 10-15 minutes with still nobody speaking to me. Right before I am about to leave my order comes out. I pay for it and leave only to get home and realize I wasn't sent with any bread for my hummus. I call to let them know and the person on the phone responds "oh you didn't get any bread" and then proceeded to talk to whoever else was there without saying anything else to me.. The manager that came over from Dearborn is usually awesome but wasn't there. I've been loyal since the first location opened. The food is on point as always but the service has been slipping. Water (with crushed ice!) and warm bread was brought out to our table immediately. Thank goodness because we were famished (and thirsty)! We ordered the Mediterranean chicken roll up - it came with a "side" salad (house or Caesar) and seasoned wedge fries. The side salad was big enough for the three of us to split! The fries were delicious and the wrap was tasty! We also go the portobello mushroom rice bowl. We were impressed by the generous amount of mushrooms and veggies! Very filling and good flavor. We also ordered the veggie pizza. The pizza looked very good and full of toppings but super soggy. The bottom was soaked and the pizza lacked flavor. Service was good. Well, time for an update! Having ate at LA Bistro - Canton about 20 times now, I can honestly say there's not a better restaurant in Canton. They are the best. The menu has a little bit of everything for a wide range of tastes from Salads to wrap to burgers to pizza to steaks, they have something for everybody. My personal favorite is the Firecracker Chicken with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and the sauce has the perfect amount of kick for those desiring a spicier dish. Of course, you will get a house salad (Love their dressing) and warm, delicious bread! I've also tried most of the wraps, burgers, steaks and pizza. The staff is friendly, prompt and attentive, and the owner is an incredibly nice guy who treats you like family. The manager stopped over and asked how our day was and if he could assist us with refills or extra dressings for our salads. I'm very surprised at how fast our food came after we ordered. Seriously it was like 5 minutes. I was hesitant at first but when I tasted how fresh my meal was I eased into the meal. So tasty and full of flavor. They have plenty of parking and the Bistro was white glove clean. They have a great kids menu as well. I didn't have kids with me but I'm always looking to snag a coloring book for later. Couple things to note about this place: * it is super clean * the decor is stunning , great for families/dates * the food is prepared fresh and tastes amazing I personally have tried their firecracker shrimp appetizer (a must try!) and their almond chicken! The second time I went I got "Sami's Special". Everything was sooo good. They even provide warm complimentary bread at the tables with butter Thats to die for. My husband and I arrived at 4:30 pm. Right away in the foyer is a display case. I keyed in it on the desserts, which looked delicious. We were seated right away. The head chef, Mo, was out on the floor waiting on tables. We had the pleasure of him to wait on us. He easily helped us decide on our food orders, since he was so knowledgeable of each dish. We had our drinks and bread served quickly. I ordered the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. A dish with spaghetti noodles, Portobello mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, green pepper, chopped garlic, and pesto tossed in a sauce of olive oil and garlic, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. It was absolutely delicious! Everything blended so well together and the garlic was enough to know it was there but not overpowering at all. I took leftovers home because the portion was large. I ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake to take home. It was a very good two layer cake, but I wished it had four or more thinner cake layers so you could taste more of the cheesecake filling which was between the layers. read more

I've been there twice now and for restaurants at the medium price point, and if Yelp! were to allow half stars, though, I would've given it 4.5 stars. The ambiance was really nice. It's very clean. I like that they have a side room that can accommodate large groups. The servers are friendly and very nice to young kids. The booths all have outlets that you can use to charge your phones. The menu being on a tablet adds a nice modern and sophisticated touch. I love the super fresh bread. It's hard to eat just one. The portion of food is huge for the price, I always go home with leftovers. Both times I got the steak portobello bowl. It's steak and portobello over rice with a side iceberg salad in the same bowl touching the rice with ranch dressing on it. For one thing, the lettuce was beginning to wilt since it's touching the hot food. And I honestly can't see how that adds any value to steak and portobello with rice, in fact, they don't belong together. Can you imagine ordering an expensive steak only to have it served cover in ranch dressing??? And I guess the other thing I'm sad about is that they don't serve the mussels in wine like the original LA Bistro did (I don't know if they do anymore or not).
