First time coming here. We had a good experience, from food to service to good location. There is a good parking space. As soon as we entered, we were welcome with warm greetings. Staff were nice , efficient and very accommodating. Service was good as well. Offered us with water and let us eat before we pay. Made sure if we were okay and need anything else. The place was clean and neat. Food was yummy, they have good combination of food. Lots of variety of food to choose from. All looks good and yummy. Hard to decide which one to pick. I want to try them all. We had laing which was similar to home. You can taste the cocomilk. it was savory. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The store was clean and very well lit. Menus were posted on the windows and on the glass. Everything was freshly made when we arrived. We ordered a 2 item combo w the longanisa and Bicol Express as well as a 1 item with menudo. The longanisa was meaty and sweet and the Bicol Express has creamy and aromatic but it didn't have any vegetables. The menudo was had perfectly cooked potatos and had large, moist pieces of pork (though we were more used to menudo being made with beef). Each came with choice of rice or pancit (or half half). We both got rice though when we ordered, the staff said we could get garlic rice; however when we got home, it was just regular rice. :( That aside, LA Chibigan is definitely on the more affordable side (IMO) compared to other Filipino restaurants and stores in the area. They had my order ready at pickup time. The lechon kawali came with the lechon sauce. I asked for vinegar and they gave me a good amount without charge, which I really appreciated. The total came out to around 70$ which is reasonable for the portion and quality. Each piece looked good, crunch on the outside and juicy in the inside. The crowd enjoyed it. Some of the dishes I ordered were the sisig, sinigang, and bicol express. The sisig had the right amount of crunch and flavor to it, making it one of the most popular dishes in the restaurant. Since it seems like they offer breakfast all day, I had to see what separates them from the other Pinoy places nearby.
