The first time I tried this place I got the L.A. burrito. I didn't get any meat since it was Good Friday so I was really disappointed to find that my burrito had no queso and they literally only put 3 fries in it as well which the queso and fries was the whole point of ordering this specific burrito. Today I gave it another shot and got the taco plate. I asked for refried beans and didn't get them. The rice has no flavor and I'm pretty sure it was old. They didn't give me any lime/onions/cilantro which is a given when ordering tacos. Also, not that there is anything wrong with it, but they use Yellow corn tortillas which I am not a fan of, I hate the taste. I'm giving them 2 stars based on the fact that the meat is actually good, but everything else sucks. read more

Good but I think the drinks are really expensive, for a coke it was $3 dlls (almost 4). At the end we paid 28 dlls and for what we ordered I think it wasn't worth it considering that we order some tacos and sopes. But the food was good! If you don't mind about the prices I recommend it :) lol it just surprised me the prices of the drinks. I'll make this as short as possible. If you remember that faint smell from Taco-H it's still there. I can't quite put my finger on it. The place didn't change much. Just removed some decor to make it more spacious it seems. The Horchata was a bit watered down for my liking. The asada tacos weren't too bad. I actually liked those. The pastor were not pastor. Think of it as carnitas in Chile sauce. They did not have the taste of pastor. No slight sweet with slight spice and pineapple here. Now the hot sauce. I did try all 3. The normal red felt too watery and tasteless. The darker one was nice and spicy. Thumbs up for this one. The green wasn't too spicy but it did have flavor which I could appreciate. Next time I may just go all asada. If the pastor were not so disappointing and the horchata wasn't watered down I would at least give 4 stars. At the moment I'd say it will do in a pinch. Maybe the other items are better? One day we'll give it another go and try something else. Price is average. The meal with tip was $13. Four tacos and a drink. read more

Went in last night, ordered a torta and my gf ordered 3 tacos and it was honestly just really mid grade my torta was just eh and my gfs tacos seemed pretty sad and flavorless+ they were really small for their price, also they forgot my fries after waiting for the food for quite a while like I'd understand if it's packed and it was a fast food place and they got to get it done fast but you can't just forget a part of someone's order that took a fair amount of time, would probably be my first and last time eating there it isn't bad it's just that it's low quality and I could literally find something better elsewhere read more

Used to be El Taco H which had the best tacos I've found in the area. New owner but same cooks and still great authentic tacos. Simple and delicious. It's BYOB until they get their license. I moved back to Texas over 5 years ago and this was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in the state. I never write bad reviews but this is deserved. My party comes in and the place is virtually empty. We make our order. We are waiting for somewhere around 20 minutes for our food when we notice a larger group that came in after us received their order before us. We were told that they "called in" and that's why they got their orders first. And that was only after the staff realized we were visibly upset. I've never heard of someone ordering ahead for dine in service. Even if that was the case that is not a reason to delay another party's order for that long of a period of time. We finally get our food after sitting inside for about 30 minutes. Regardless of "call in orders" it does not take 30 minutes to make 9 tacos and rice with beans. As for the food itself, it wasn't great especially for $50. The shrimp on the tacos was tiny and did not taste right. The barbacoa tacos I had lacked any meaningful flavor. I've had better tacos from Jack in a Box. I usually give restaurants a second chance but I will make an exception here. I will NEVER return to this establishment. read more

The worst place I have ordered food from. I didn't received all my items a simple small order and they can't even get it right, it's not fucking rocket science! Smh! Let's talk about what I did receive, the tostada de ceviche was stale af! Buy or make new tostadas! Or just stop selling the item! As simple as that! Better than embarrassing yourself. Disgusting! the fish tasted old! you can tell they buy the cheapest fish they can get to make this and over charge people for it! Sad af! The agua de jamaica taste so fucking old and has a horrible after taste. We couldn't drink it, it's so nasty... The barbacoa tacos is mostly fat, waist of money, the alpastor and carnitas was probably the only "okay" thing here. I don't recommend waisting your money at this place, waist of time and money, don't recommend this place to anyone!! On top of all this, I call and let them know about the missing items and she says "oh yea...we did forget..is there a way you can come pick it up" with a laughing tone, like it's so fucking funny that you and your team are not capable of making and completing a small simple order. Obviously, if I did it through delivery, what makes you think I want to waist my gas and time to drive to get what you fucked up.
