I was in the area and needed to print 3 documents quickly. I searched Yelp and found this company with great reviews. I walked in and was kindly greeted by a nice woman who was able to print the 3 documents. She handed me the papers and explained they usually don't print small word documents but she did it for me free of charge. I felt bad that I didn't realize they do large projects since I was in a hurry to find a place to print but they gladly did it for me and free! They also gave me a paper scratchpad/notepad. nothing against Kinko's when it comes to printing, but if you want real personable service that isn't taught in an employee handbook or guide, then L & D is definitely your place. several times I've come to the kind folks here for rush jobs and they never fail to accommodate whatever it is that i need... is as simple as that. prices are reasonable (cheap compared to kinko's in my opinion) and the entire staff is there to help you or answer questions with a friendly smile...absolutely, definitely recommend these folks for any of your graphic designing or printing/copying needs!!! read more

L&D is a solid, customer service focused printer. They are easy to work with, and always responsive to my needs as a graphic designer. Really great customer service and quick turnaround at this family owned business. I took about 600 posters here to be cut to an unusual size, and they got the job done within 10 minutes! Their quote ($6.75/sheet) for printing larger versions of the same posters was also much lower than kinkos ($15/sheet), and they were very quick in responding to my questions. read more

After the service, I would say the staff there is very nice. They helped me out to complete my tasks. The office is very new and clean too. I really like the service they provided. I just had one of my easiest and nicest consumer experiences. I needed wedding invitations printed on special paper that I provided and L&D did a beautiful job at half the price I was quoted by another printer and did it w/ a one day turn around. This is a family owned and run business and Kathy at the front desk and Barbara, the printer/designer were so friendly and nice in addition to being helpful and professional. They are also conveniently located on a side street near the Oakland Airport and the other plus is free and easy parking. They also do design, but I had had this already done by a friend. They were fine w/ this, while some other places I contacted would not take the job. read more

I was at the airport doing business with the port when I they needed me to make copies. I googled and found this print shop. When I walked in I realized they do volume printing and also banner printing . I told Kathleen and a young gentleman I just needed to make just two copies and apologized I came to a wrong type of copying shop. This mom and pop place was so accommodating they did copied for me complimentary citing it is a long way to the next retail printing shop. Just outstanding and friendly service even though they did not receive compensation. Any one who reads this should make this their primary print shop!!! Oh btw this happened two years ago and it is my bad it took me this long to get this review out.
