I had an event to promote the Bay Area Green Fund in Anaheim and I needed lots of large format printing, signs, banners, stands, postcards and I had a small window of time to get it done. Some things needed to be reformatted and thank god they have graphic designers in house to take care of that because I had a very tight deadline and they made it all happen. I've worked with Precision to have banners made for community events, menus for my former business Zocalo Coffeehouse, signs for the Make San Leandro event and each and every time I am impressed with their professionalism, their generosity, the quality of their work, and just the worry free knowledge that they will deliver above and beyond what they promise. They have been very generous in providing signs at significant discounts those efforts which benefit the community and they've always been big supporters of Davis St. Family Resource Center. I found it necessary to write a review as my experience was excellent! I will be doing a comparison of my Precision Graphics experience to the San Leandro Marina, Fed Ex Kinkos. Kinkos: 4pm, Took in photo image to get it enlarged, they took my name. They printed out a sample photo and our faces were extremely dark, they said they don't do adjustments to lighting on photos. They printed me an invoice and told me it would be 27 dollars upon pick up. Kinkos told me they would call me either that same night or the following morning. 12:52pm, no call. Next Day, Precision Graphics: Called them with the same job. They said they were able to do it. I came to the store and everyone was very friendly. I gave the worker my flash drive with the photo, and within minutes, it was ready to print. He also did some lighting adjustments, so it would not print out dark. The print came out awesome! All took about ten minutes with no line. The service fee was about 20 dollars, which is not bad. (Less than Kinkos!) It's pretty obvious which company won my trust with getting a simple job done, Precision Graphics. Honestly i'm glad to put the experience of slow wait times and incompetent workers of Kinkos behind me. Goodbye Kinkos, and hello Precision Graphics! read more

Wow they must have all their friends reviewing them? I did not have a good customer service experience. It started out good, I discussed (at length) a 200 flyer print job I needed done quickly. Initial phone call was nice and then when I said I needed them latest the next day by 12:30 (app 24 hrs) there was nothing said, this was workable. So I sent the file and left for the afternoon. Later that afternoon I get an email that my time is actually NOT workable...that 'maybe I could take it to kinkos and they could do it'...but then it was too late to change venues bc I was out for the day! Few emails back and forth and he said they would "try" to make it but the next morning they "had machine difficulties" and could not make it. Again he recommended kinkos, I asked which one he recommend and there was no response. Don't promise or take a job if you can't meet the customers deadline. Don't string them along and passive aggressively say go somewhere else (and if you truly are recommending another place then don't ignore the customer question of "where" do you recommend). He really put me in a bind scrambling with another place to get them printed....I don't care how good of quality their printing could be, I won't utilize this business. read more

Terrible Customer Service. Staff (no name tag) disrespectful, cut me off, and overall poor service.

WOW. Customer service is one thing that will ALWAYS win me over. And I have to say... Precision Graphics definitely won me over! I was in a bind. Being new to banners in general, I had ordered a 6'x3' banner online... but thought I could just use the plastic tape grommets. However.. it made my banner look super tacky. Since I had ordered the banner online, I had no idea what to do in order to get grommets put into my banner. I did quite a bit of research online... I even contemplated punching holes in it myself! How ghetto I know. I called a few places and they didn't seem to care to help me because it was such a small thing. They didn't want to stop what they were doing to help me. I even called a vendor and was responded with "if you come in to get grommets put into an existing banner, we're going to have to stop with what we're doing to accommodate you" with an attitude voice like I was such an inconvenience. That's when I found Precision Graphics. Emilio had answered the phone and I told him my problem, and without any hesitation, he told me to stop by and he could help me. At first I was confused.. I had called 3 other vendors and they all sounded like I was a pain and didn't care to help me especially because I didn't buy my banner from them. However Emilio was totally cool and said he would help me out without charge. They have a great location in the heart of downtown San Leandro.. and in a very easy location to find. Precision Graphics has a great open welcoming space and superb customer service. It's so hard to find a company who puts their customers first before them nowadays.. and I was honestly about to just reach for my ghetto hole punch for my banner til Emilio came to the rescue. Definitely keep Precision Graphics in mind for your next graphics/printing needs. I only wish I knew about this business sooner! I stumbled upon Precision Graphics one day when I was looking for copy centers in the San Leandro area for work. After dealing with Kinkos/FedEx's below par service, I decided to give Precision Graphics a try. I called them up and spoke with Emilio. He was wonderful and helped me from start to end. I needed to create about 100 booklets in under a week's time and have them shipped to Vegas. The booklets made it in time and turned out better than I expected! The loss of a parent can turn your world upside. I worked on designing my mom's funeral and obituary service program for over a week and planned to print it earlier in the week--but important and necessary changes delayed this from happening. I initially planned on taking it into FedEx Kinkos, but I decided to Yelp another affordable option for printing and came across Precision Graphics. I read the reviews and liked what I saw. I've driven by this place well over 100 times...always assuming that it was a teen hangout spot because of the logo. When entering, I was met by the Graphic Designer, (name at the tip of my tongue--will edit my review when I remember). I showed him a sample of my 4-page graduated service program and stated that I would like to have it printed for my mother's funeral that was set to take place the following day. He was so understanding and accommodating and politely told me it could be done although Precision Graphics focused more on corporate projects and had a house minimum. Feeling gracious about my experience thus far and wanting to be done with all planning and preparation--I was on board--whether I needed it or not (and I did). I left the file and was on my way to find a pretty paper. I got a call from Ms. Dottie with a quote and confirmation of them having the perfect paper I needed. We went over the order and her level of professional and politeness over the telephone not only made me feel 110% ok with her suggestions--it was comforting. I got a call that my order was ready and everyone at Precision Graphics complimented me on how nice the layout was. The service programs were absolutely beautiful (I felt like I was well on my way in honoring my mommy). During our earlier visit, we learned about Precision Graphics logo. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Dottie's and her son Emilio who shared this month's wonderful sample products with us. My sisters' and I loved this as well. Tying to keep my morale up during this difficult time was difficult at times--but my experience at Precision Graphics set the tone and standard. My mom's services were beautiful and everyone loved the service programs. In the end I was left with 3 programs (actually needed more for family members that were not able to attend). How about 10 stars... I have been working with Precision Graphics since 2007. I love them. I have done greeting cards, newsletters, inviations, and direct mail through Precision. They respond to emails and calls almost instantaneously. They always adhere to the schedule they promise. I often feel like I'm their only client, but I know that's not true. My first project at my new job was a holiday card and Precision helped me shine right away. I wasn't happy after two rounds with one of my new job's pre-existing graphic designers and I was able to call Emilio at Precision and tell him what I wanted and he delivered a fabulous holiday card in 1-round. The board and CEO were telling me this was the best holiday card our 10 year old organization had ever had. Thanks Precision.
