Stopped by for breakfast before leaving town. Serves clean, fresh and filling breakfast foods. Nothing stood out on the menu or in what we ordered as exceptional but I'd have higher hopes for lunch and dinner options. Overall no complaints. Excellent service.

First time eating here. I ordered the pork classic schnitzel and my wife ordered the pasta bolognese. The pasta was tastier than the schnitzel, because the schnitzel has quite a bit of gristle in it. We both had margaritas, which were quite tasty. The service was great and the restaurant is very cozy.

We stopped here on a recent vacation. The pork and chicken schnitzel were both very good (both types). Everything else was pretty terrible (especially the pasta and grilled cheese, which were left largely uneaten). Service was fine.

I needed this after a long day in the sun. Refreshing iced tea.

I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review for The Thirsty Palms before because it's easily one of my favorite spots in Palm Springs. Over time I've had their pizza, lamb chops, and pasta, each one excellent, but today's surf and turf might have been my favorite yet. Everything is cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served with genuine care. What really makes this place stand out is the service. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and create a relaxed casual environment that still feels special. They know the menu inside and out, which really helps my wife, who is vegan, find great options without feeling limited. The Thirsty Palms is the kind of restaurant you look forward to coming back to. A solid five stars every time.

Stopped in to watch a World Series game because they had a tv. Just not local stations so we had to leave. But before we did the charcuterie board happened! Quite a large serving of meats, cheese, olives, toast and nuts. Then there was a beer we had never tasted before, Cali Creamsicle. Who knew! It was refreshing and delicious. Just what you needed on a warm day in Palm Springs. We were ready to order a pizza but will have to next time. And there will be a next time. Let me tell you about the service. We were very particular about what we wanted and she was accommodating. Even brought iced water for our fur baby. Yep we will be back.

Lovely patio, friendly and attentive service (especially the blonde lady with a European accent), delicious food. We ordered both the Shakshuka White and Shakshuka Classic and while both were delicious I personally favored the Shakshuka White because of the flavor combination of spinach, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. Yum!

Excellent place to get delicious, fresh food and drinks in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. We were looking for a place with a nice outdoor patio to enjoy the sunshine while getting cocktails and light bites. This was the perfect place for that! I really liked the Paloma Organica. It was a very refreshing cocktail. I also really enjoyed the Caprese and Watermelon salad. It was just what I needed in the 90 degree February heat. The service was also very friendly and attentive. It was just all around a great experience here and I highly recommend!

We had a great brunch and so did the bachelorette party across from us. Solid BLAT and crazy generous scramble egg avocado toast. The pancakes were yummy and the eggs Bennie was exactly what you would want. On one of the hottest days they took great care of us.

Fresh!!! Stopped in at 10:30 on Monday and was seated and served right away. The owner (I think) was outside and he was super kind. My server was also quick and checked on me without being too much. He was really cool. It's super pretty inside, but I sat outside with the misters to people watch. I ordered the Caprese Avocado Toast with a side of hash browns and WOW!! Everything was super fresh. The toast was not soggy and it comes with a side salad, so anything that falls off the toast can still be easily eaten. I work outside and it's hard to find a meal that gives me more energy than drains me, but this is one of the best mid-day meals I've had. The hash browns were also super flavorful. I would definitely return here next time I'm working in this area.

Recently, I went with my husband to this restaurant. The food was good. We enjoyed the Egg and Spinach Omelette and the Thirsty breakfast. The outdoor dining area and the pretty European music were great. Highly recommend this restaurant. It has pretty views of the mountain.

We were seated in the back of the restaurant, closer to the kitchen, which I don't think is nearly as nice as the front. It's not unpleasant, just not as nice. I was annoyed when the next table got their cocktail order in before us because they were seated after us. We got a different server, who took a while. The host had only provided a cocktail and wine list, so we weren't able to use that time to figure out dinner. Eventually the server came by. He knew his stuff, and went through everything we needed to know, but it was also clear that he was flat out. He asked if we wanted water, but then forgot and when we prompted him, one came with ice even though our guest requested no ice. Inital round of cocktails was on point, though no extra olives as requested by one. Not a huge deal. Drinks were excellent. Bread service and the beet salad were also quite good. I got the swordfish special. Swordfish is not my favorite fish, but the prep (pineapple black bean chutney) enticed me and it was very good. Another got the caper-lemon schnitzel. Another got the chicken curry. The curry was not as good as hoped; I think it was a little thin. No complaints on the schnitzel. Dessert and coffee were offered but we were full.

We are schnitzel lovers, I had the plain Wiener schnitzel($38) and hubs had the Papa schnitzel($44) I asked our waiter if schnitzel is made from pork or chicken and he said veal. First of all, my cutlet is 'snow white' throughout with no 'pink' anywhere let alone light pink showing in real veal. The texture is so soft with absolutely 'no chew' as veal should have. The whole schnitzel is flavourless and tasteless...taste just like pounded/tenderized chicken breast steak! Not any better with my hubs Papa schnitzel. Maybe next visit we'll skip the schnitzels and try their other items on the menu.......

Every visit is consistently incredible, and this time was no exception. We started with the Oktoberfest Pretzel and the Urnebes, and both were absolutely phenomenal. It's one of those dishes you keep coming back for because it's just that good. My daughter's boyfriend ordered the Lamb Chops, and they were fall-off-the-bone amazing--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had the Spicy Gypsy Schnitzel Veal, and all I can say is wow. It was completely out of this world. The veal was perfectly prepared, and the spicy gypsy sauce took it to another level. And I can't leave out the Lemon Breeze. It is everything. Hands down, the best drink I've ever had--refreshing, delicious, and the perfect complement to an incredible meal. Alps Village just nails it every time. Amazing food, amazing drinks, service and a consistently fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back! 10/10 -- Highly recommend!

The service was great and friendly, and willing to seat us even an hour before closing their lunch hours and giving us lots of time and patience and never let our waters get low either! Their coffee is french press, and they offer fresh pressed juices too. They brought the french press pot to the table so you could press and refill your own cup as needed. We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch.

Majority of the restaurant is outside with covered umbrellas and small sections in the inside area with different rooms. Our waitress was quite sweet but didn't remember her name. Menu is pretty much same as I remember from last time. Of course the Bloody Mary is always a must here. Started off with that. Food wise, the andouille sausage omelette served with potatoes or a salad and avocado. That also comes with a side of baguette. And the baked brie platter which is a shared starter. But works also a meal if needed. A nice hefty portion of baked Brie with hazelnuts, both ciabatta bread and Asian pear as well as date jam. And a side order of bagel and cream cheese. Food was good. We've only been for brunch and each visit was great. Dinner is a prix fix menu which we have never been. Service was great and the staffs were all very friendly. Places you probably wouldn't have visit but the deals are too good to pass on. We've seen this place loads of time driving by and always wanted to try it out. I made a reservation for the patio at 7:15 thinking it'll be nice for the sunset but of course it was 103 still outside...lol... We were going to see if they could move us to indoor but when we checked in, the hostess was ahead of us. She knew it was going to be too hot for patio seating which was amazing of her. When you walk in, there's the hostess desk as well as a cute little lobby waiting area. Across from that is the wine cellar and around the corner was the bar lounge area. We didn't even know it was there until after dinner. It was massive. The restaurant is broken down into different rooms. We got seating in the main room where it's more of the MCM vibe with the high back booth seating. There's also a little private room to the side next to the restroom. The layout was quite beautiful and it was well decorated. There was also another room a step above us and and also the patio. The setting of the table was beautiful, elegantly dressed with an over side white table cloth. Only downfall, the booth was a bit too straight up. If you don't have good posture, you do now...lol... David was our waiter who was excellent and amazing. Very friendly and polite. Also so welcoming. As it was restaurant week, menus came out both with their daily as well as the deals. Classic menu does look quite nice but can't beat a good three course meal. That was offered for 49.00 three course, starters mains and dessert. Started off with a glass of wine before hand which a few was had throughout dinner. Service was excellent throughout the whole experience. One of the servers came over to place our napkins on our laps before. Also a warm roll with butter was brought out to start. Dinner, the options were great on the deals. We both started off with the Scottish salmon sashimi. Delicious thin slice served with seaweed salad, blood orange, scallions, Thai chili in a blood orange glaze. That was excellent and very tasty. Entrees, an order of the flank steak cooked nicely. Citrus marinated flank steak with shoestring fries, grilled baby broccolini and a creamy peppercorn sauce. This dish was flavorful and went well together. Steak was cooked well and the sauce was great. Also the beef stroganoff. Thin sliced seasoned sautéed beef served with mushrooms, onions, thyme, sweet cream and sour cream served over herbed butter noodles. I haven't had stroganoff in such a long time and this dish was very tasty and delicious. Sauce was great which sometimes I think it can be too salty but this place was great. Lastly the dessert, one was the vanilla creme brûlée. Classic Madagascar vanilla bourbon and berries. The other, strawberry Napoleon. Layered of flaky puff pastries, velvet pastry cream and fresh strawberries. Both looked amazing and very tasty. I didn't have any as I was off the sweets but let me say it went down well. The food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. The whole vibe was your classic Palm Springs dining. Service was amazing from the start with hostess to the end of dinner. The staffs were all amazing and very friendly. David was a major doll throughout our meal. He even mentioned happy hour which is next. Everything was excellent and we would definitely be back.

We've been coming to Idyllwild for 60+ years (100 as a family) and we've seen restaurants great and small come and go. Tommy's right now is one of the top three, ironically as it is takeout dinners with the occasional holiday brunch. This Sunday on Memorial Day weekend we ordered the Roast Lamb special ($24), a robust herbed port wine jus three slices, which came with a dense square of scalloped potatoes au gratin, buttered peas and glazed carrots--with excellent broccoli cheddar soup with croutons--and a white dark chocolate mousse that was the perfect light dessert (I couldn't believe I ate it all). We're having leftovers for lunch or dinner today. What Tommy's gives is way over price value but it's his European culinary technique that elevates the food, even when doing crispy fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. The menu is set, one dish a day, though some occasionally come with vegetarian options. As a bonus, son James bakes excellent French bread--we bought a sun-dried tomato one which was terrific dipped in olive oil. I finally tried it after years of passing by, ended up going in on a slow workday by myself, and I'm glad I did. The artichoke hearts were honestly one of the highlights, really well done. The beer selection is also unique and worth exploring if you're into trying something outside the usual. Service stood out too. I had a newer waitress who was still in training, and she handled everything really well. Attentive, polite, and didn't miss a step, which says a lot. The place itself is clean and has a classy feel without trying too hard. It's not somewhere I'd go all the time, but that's kind of the point. It feels more like a spot for special occasions or when you want something a little more unique and elevated than the usual rotation. Solid experience overall. 4 stars.

But once you head downstairs, you will find a cozy dining area in the back with a cozy atmosphere. My friend and I chose the prix fixe menu with the restaurant's selected wine pairings, and it was an incredible experience. Gabriel, who took care of our table, explained every dish and wine pairing in detail, making the entire meal even more enjoyable. Every course was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From the first bite to the final dessert, and every wine pairing in between, everything was outstanding. It was a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Temecula.

I recommend getting this since I like to have more savory items. For the tea, I chose the strawberry rhubarb. The afternoon tea comes with a three tiered pastry and tea sandwich tower. We got honey tea cake, mango yuzu cream puff, strawberries & chocolate shortbread cookie, savory herb scone, hokkaido cheese tart, assorted seasonal fruit, radish + herb cheese tea sandwich, curry chicken salad sandwich, egg salad tea sandwich and our choice of a large pot of tea. There were a few cute spots to take photos and some ladies even complimented me on my outfit! I also got a surprise birthday scoop of ice cream! It was definitely a great start of my day!
