What a friendly place! My fiancé ordered a breakfast and his eggs were cooked perfectly, as was the French toast. I loved the coffee and my salad was fresh and crispy. We had just left Washington, DC after riding to the Vietnam Memorial and were wearing our motorcycle vests with various patriotic patches. A few of the other patrons asked about our ride and the reason for it. At the end of our meal the waitress came over and told us that our meal had been paid for! I love going into family run businesses in small towns especially. read more

We were driving to the Caverns and trying to find a spot for breakfast. We were pleased. The place was clean and the service was great. They were welcoming and friendly. Great prices too. We laugh when I asked what kind of teas they had and the response was "Just Lipton". I guess we are a little spoiled...if you are looking a quick bite this is a great spot. read more

L' Dees was pretty good, but we weren't blown away. The waitress was nice, but the food wasn't anything worth raving about. I got ham, eggs, home fries and toast and my boyfriend got the chocolate chip pancake special. Breakfast came out to $12, so you definitely get what you pay for. read more

Nice stop. Very clean. Even the restrooms were spotless. Food was delicious. Great, friendly service. $30 w/tip for breakfast for two so it was a little on the pricey side. Only draw back is it's cash only. That's not obvious when you come in. They do have an ATM on the premise but it probably charges a fee we had cash so we were good. Traveling down Main Street in front Royal Virginia, it would be hard to get the full mom-and-pop affect unless stopping at LDee's Pancake House for breakfast or lunch. The service is always great, the food is always hot and delicious, and their new addition of an ATM to a cash only restaurant really shows their effort to reach out to everyone. I highly recommend this little Front Royal gem to all who inhabit the area and to all who are visiting. They sat 8 of us within 10 minutes at a very busy time of day. Excellent and friendly service. They serve breakfast anytime, which half our group chose. Their burgers and sandwiches were also fabulous, as well as their omelettes and pancakes. Great small town feel! read more

Food is good if your starving , prices against quality; it's not worth it . They use the cheapest groceries possible to serve . They do not except debit cards only cash , which is a HUGE inconvenience! Had to pay 1.50 just to use their ATM then an additional 3.00 because my bank is wack and it wasn't their ATM. My sister and I also were watching closely through the opening to their kitchen to make sure they are sanitary and we watched a women stick her bare hands into a container of sliced lemons and dig around to find a good one , then wiped her hands off ON HER PANTS!!!!!!!! And used that lemon for someone's beverage . At that point we left that dump . My advice to you , don't go unless you too are starving and desperate . read more

The owners and staff are friendly, they have everything you would find in a pancake/breakfast place. The biscuits and fruit salad are good. Prices are great. And they're efficient- they get your order right away and it's never taken more than five minutes to get our meal- even though they're often completely crowded! Cash only. read more

Just okay. Very good service but the food was nothing special at all. I have one pet peeve: when I ask for scrambled eggs, something resembling an omelet is not scrambled. I think my biscuit was microwaved. Three stars for the good service. read more
