Good things come in small packages! Found this place by Googling "near me," and I'm so glad that I did. We were on our way to a club meeting and needed a quick bite. It is a tiny place sort of across the street from The Bamboo Room. There is ample parking behind the building. They have a large menu of subs, with many options including a house mayo that I would recommend. I ordered a BLT, which is not specifically on the menu but qualifies as a "MeatUp" menu item. It was just the thing I needed for lunch that day. We happened upon their shop on it's 6 month Anniversary! Everyone behind the counter was super friendly, and they were celebrating their big milestone with free delicious cupcakes! Yum. The food was good, and the people made it even better. We heard about this sub shop, so we headed up to Lake Worth to check it out! It's a cute simple place. There is a bar table looking out the window for you to sit or two small tables out front. We ordered 4 subs. A tree hugger sub that is all vege's. A pastrami and two Lake Quirky club subs. Both the vege and pastrami were good. We ate those out front, and brought the other two subs home for later. We like subs. Looks like they make a soup for each day. I heard another customer raving about the tuna salad, saying it's the best they have had. Parking is free. You may have to drive around to find a spot but it didn't take us long to find one on the strip. If you want to walk off your sub, there are art stores, bars and plenty of store fronts to stroll and look at while you are there. The owners are nice. I think this is a fairly new place. Great little local spot! Immediately upon entering my boyfriend and I were happily greeted by the staff. As first timers, they explained the menu and mentioned they have the daily specials written on their board as well. I had been wanting to stop here as I am always looking for a good place for subs. I looked through the menu and decided to go with the Italian sub, although I may try one of the other unique ones next time. The gentleman helping me were very friendly and helpful and the woman helping me was very friendly too. I was asked if I wanted Mayo or mustard to which I said no. I got lettuce, pickles and onions with oil and vinegar and black pepper and oregano. For an 8 inch sub, it was pretty huge. Fully stuffed with ham, cappicola, and salami. It also had very good provolone cheese. I got home and I guess I was pretty hungry because I devoured it. It was very fresh and delicious with good quality meat sliced thin. The pickles were so good, I wish I had asked for more on the side. I'm glad I didn't get chips, the sandwich was just enough and definitely will stop by again to try the redneck Cuban or create my own sub. read more
