Cuts & Slices Pizza is such a fun and delicious spot in NYC, especially if you're looking for something beyond your typical slice. They offer some really creative and unconventional pizza options and they absolutely deliver on flavor. We tried several unique slices, including the Philly cheesesteak, Thai chili chicken, Thai chili salmon, and BBQ jerk salmon pizza. Every slice was packed with flavor and came out hot and fresh. The combinations were bold and balanced and each one somehow worked perfectly. The space itself is a nice, casual and welcoming. The employees were friendly snd helpful. If you're in the mood to switch things up and try pizza with a twist, this place is a must. Definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!

Brown Stew Oxtail

The oxtail pizza with brown stew was pretty good overall. It came out fresh from the oven with a nice crisp to the crust, which I really appreciated. The flavors were rich and savory, though it leaned a bit salty for my taste. Still, a solid and flavorful dish I'd consider ordering again.

I've heard about this place thanks to Instagram. The types of slices and pies they have are for sure unique. You can still get your traditional slices if you're not an adventurous eater. The oxtail slices are what makes Cuts & Slices unique. My sister and I shared a brown stew oxtail slice. I liked that the oxtail meat was tender and very flavorful. Something that you don't usually see in a normal pizza shop. The location isn't super big, so if they are busy at the time you go, it can be hard to get a seat to eat. When we went we just had the right timing to get high top seating on the side past the register. Overall a good place to get a quick bite.

Of course wanted to try the famed oxtail slice here but when we walked in on a Fri evening they only had the curry version available. It was super aromatic but def too rich/heavy so I was happy to share the slice with my husband. We also got the shrimp/lobster truffle Alfredo which was pretty underwhelming as the shrimp was overcooked and 1 slice of those costs almost $20! However we were given 2 slices of those even though we ordered 1 so that was a nice surprise/mistake. Overall I'm glad I tried it, but not sure if I'd return. Cool to see such speciality slices.

I've heard a lot about this place so since I was in NY visiting, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! I was told they have 3 locations but this location was the closest to where I was staying. I ordered the most talked about pizza.....sweet chili oxtail.....highly recommend. The slice is pretty big, we actually had them split it into 2 slices. It was hot and fresh and full of flavor. The oxtail on the pizza was very tender and cooked to perfection. The establishment is small with limited seating, luckily it was not crowded so grabbing a table was easy. Everyone that works there was very friendly from the time you walk in up until the time you leave. They greeted everyone and were very accommodating to everyone's request. If you're in the area... definitely give this place a try!

I'm still thinking about this place as I'm writing my review. I saw videos on Tik Tok and the Oxtail Pizza looked good. I begin to troll through more videos and pictures for Cuts & Slices. Black-Owned pizza place that has unique different flavors of pizza. The second day in New York we took the train and headed down to Cuts & Slices. We made it around 12:30 in time before the line started to thickin in this place. I get there and look through the glass and O My!!!!! I couldn't even make up my mind. Small dining area with limited seating. On to my pizza review, I ordered the Brown Stew Oxtail Pizza & Jerk Chicken Alfredo Pizza. The flavors were All there in both slices of pizza. Freshly made and prepared with perfection. I wish they had a location near Illnois. The $12.00 was well worth my money and time coming here. The young lady behind the counter was patience and friendly. This place definitely Cut Up with their unique delicious slices of pizza.

Social Media inspired my visit to Cuts & Slices! Think of this place as a reimagining of the traditional pizza toppings and insert a Caribbean twist! Curry, sweet Thai, and jerk spices are sure to wake up those tastebuds! I couldn't wait to try their viral oxtail pizza and it did not disappoint! We tried the sweet chili oxtail, chicken Alfredo, and jerk chicken slice. The jerk chicken was a little dry but the flavors were really good! Service was fast and the lady was friendly.

The pizza wasn't bad, but wasn't great either the crust was very hard. The service was nice and the ambiance gave that of a retro modern food joint. I believe there is something for everyone here.

Salmon something pizza lol on the left, which was amazing and on the right, we have the oxtail which was also amazing

Heard about this place on the way from Oakland California so when I touchdown in New York, I had to stop by was lucky enough to be greeted by the owner. So many slices to choose from such a little stomach I have, but I got the salmon something lol and the oxtail both of them were 10 out of 10 highly recommend

Came here just to experience the oxtail on a slice and it was super tasty, not too salty. It was strange to have oxtail off the bone and on a slice, but I enjoyed it. It lived up to the hype, but the hype also doesn't mention the price, which is hard to wrap your head around when comparing this place to more conventional pizza spots. I'd still go back if I was in the mood for oxtail.

I'm so happy they opened up in the LES! I tried going to the brooklyn Location but the lines were so long and I don't think word broke out in LES yet, so I finally got my oxtail slice. The sweet chill oxtail slice is so the flavors were so good. I love oxtail and it's the perfect mix of flavors, spicy and a tad bit sweet. It was really good. Curry chicken was also good! It's a lil space, and Mano behind the counter was super nice and helpful. All the staff was friendly. I'll def be back soon!

The Brown stew oxtail slice.

Best slice of pizza I've had so far in New York. I've had some good slices. Until I had Cutz & Slices that oxtail slice amazing. The staff was super helpful.

Oxtail pizza . Very good , a little floppy but still really good

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. Definitely one of my top neopolitan pizza spots in NYC!

Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
