It was too hot, so my family and I looked for an ice cream shop called "L'Moon Creamery" in Pasadena. This ice cream shop is small, but there are many people waiting for ice cream. Make sure to check in on Yelp to get one topping complimentary. The ice cream and drinks have good flavors and are not overly sweet. A good place to get ice cream and drinks on a hot day.
Ordered the thai tea soft serve 16oz with no toppings. The portion is HUGE for 2 people. Should have gone with the small. Nothing special, soft serve just tastes like frozen thai tea. It wasn't creamier or anything. It was a hot day out and it was melting quickly. As I ate to the center, it became icier? The outside was creamier than the inside. Unsure why that is. Otherwise, it tastes as expected. I think I paid $7.25 or so which isn't too bad nowadays. Parking does suck, it's at a weird location on green street. I parked on the street and walked over. Not a lot of seating area to enjoy on site.
My wife and I were going to a comedy show at The Ice House but we needed a little sweet treat before hand, so Yelp guided us to L'moon Creamery down the street. This small and neat little Ice Cream shop is a little different then the usual offering some special soft serve with some toppings and things to mix inside. Now, I originally came here because my wife likes shops like this, but after ordering what can best be described as a big cup of vanilla ice cream with frosted flakes and chocolate mixed in, I'M SOLD! One thing I will say is that the vanilla ice cream reminds me of going to Carvel as a kid and that's a hill I will proudly die on. Overall, L'moon Creamery definitely has it's own vibe compared to many of the other Pasadena ice cream shops. I'm not in Pasadena too much, but if I ever have a hankering for some delicious soft serve, I know where I'll be heading! Oh yeah, I also had boba thrown in mine, how did I forget that detail?
I am so glad I found this spot between clients since it got me through the rest of my day. I ordered the thai tea trophy which had coconut cubes, bona, and corn flakes. The mixtures of textures with the thai tea soft serve went perfectly together. I would definitely get it again. The service was friendly and efficient. The shop was clean and there were areas to sit. Parking can be crazy depending on the time you go since it is on green.
Amazing Thai tea soft with honey boba Definitely my first time trying this and oh man it's so good very popular drinks as well the time I was in here it's been like 6 people ordering the tea . Great customer service , very positive area , great energy to sit and have your boba . Well recommended nice and clean very bright inside with lights . Great designs or art work .
I loved the ice cream!!! The staff were nice. The place is small and has limited indoor and outdoor seating. There is street parking. There's a lot right next to it, but I don't know if you can park there. The Thai ice cream was really good!! One of the best I've had. The boba was super soft and tasty. I went back again, and the larger size was around $9. Unfortunately, the milk tea was one of the worst I've had. My friend and I did NOT like it. It was extremely bitter and didn't taste good. I ended up not finishing it. Definitely wouldn't get this again.
Cute little spot located on Green Street. Came here with my dog and tried a 24oz Thai Milk Tea with Boba. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet like most Thai teas, just the right balance of creamy and flavorful. Very refreshing and delicious! I was tempted to try their Thai Tea soft serve, but I decided to save that for next time since I just came for a drink to quench my thirst lol. The staff were super friendly. My dog loved it here. He also got a Milk Bone treat while he was here. There's plenty of street parking available, but it's easiest to find a spot at night or early in the morning. FYI, they do have a reward punch card.
Such a cute and yummy tasting little place! I ate dinner in Pasadena with a friend, and I really wanted a Thai tea (my go-to drink next to matcha) for the drive back home, and this was one of the nearest places that was still open on a Sunday night, so I decided to give it a try. L' moon Cremery looks remarkable in terms or lightening and decor upon walking in. There's only a small seating area, so it can get crowded--and it did--but that's how you know people love it! Being greeted with a genuine smile nowadays is a plus, and it was nice getting that from the lady working at the register. I ordered a Thai tea with almond milk, half sweet. Then I took a look at the heart-shaped cookies on the right... and YUP! I I added an oatmeal one because I don't always eat dessert, and it was totally worth it. The Thai tea? Better than what I imagined, too. I'm actually excited to stop by again for some soft serve ice-cream next time.
It is rare these days to come across a new dessert shop that feels both fresh yet familiar but L'Moon does it by combining all the things most dessert lovers love: honey boba, trendy teas (thai, matcha, hojicha, etc), soft serve swirls, brûlée toppings, and warm chunky cookies! The service is fast and friendly, there is a small bench area for seating, but the desserts are such that it's fine to enjoy on-the-go! They have loyalty cards (that you can actually combine) and you can get one free topping if you check in on Yelp. Run, don't walk!
Was craving something sweet after dinner and my sister said that we should get her Thai tea soft serve. This was a great recommendation! Thai tea soft serve so YUM!My family and I shared this cup. Be careful though because it does melt fast. The staff were really nice and fast. The logo is so cute. Would definitely come again when I'm around the area. read more
4.5 stars for L'moon! I've only been here twice and both times for the Thai Tea soft serve. The ice cream is so creamy and just the right amount sweetness. The portions are pretty generous. The trophy one is good for 3-4 people to share and the smallest size is perfect for 2 to share in my opinion! Warm boba topping on the side is just chef's kiss! read more
I've been into hot hot boba as of late and they have hot boba here so I made my way over. I had the L'moon hot Thai coffee which was a good blend of coffee and Thai tea. I have to come back and try their soft serve when it gets warmer. read more

This spot is on Green Street in Pasadena, close to Afters. We had no problem finding parking right in front of the store on a Saturday afternoon. My bf and I shared the thai tea soft serve with boba. It was really good! The thai tea is pretty strong in flavor; adding the boba, however, did melt the soft serve faster (maybe because the boba was warm?). Interior is pretty small, and don't have any seating area. read more
Cute small dessert spot. Great staff. I had to try the Thai Tea Trophy and I really enjoyed every bite! Hubby had the Jasmine Tea with raspberry but he probably should have selected the one with strawberry. I'd definitely come back here again. Not much seating inside at all. Came here on a rainy day and there were no lines. Got the thai tea soft serve in their largest size (24 oz). This thing is really big and was a lot for just two people. They really packed this thing and made sure there were no hollow spaces inside the cup. They also kept going and made it really tall. If you like Thai tea, you will like this for sure. There's not a lot of seating inside, there's pretty much just a bench. read more

janet took care of me and i can happily say that she was sooo so kind and wonderful, she's such a bright ray of sunshine and was very well versed in helping me and ALL of my friends. Yai was also very confident in the menu, super supportive with my friends food allergies, and she was extremely coordinated in making drinks, taking orders, and helping each individuals customers needs all during rush hour-- as someone with 15+ years of restaurant experience, I am so so impressed with these two lovely girls who are so talented and on top of running l'moon. Also, Janet was so incredibly patient since we were all very indecisive, she manages the store incredibly and impeccably. she's extremely composed and i wish there were more words to describe her-- AMAZZINNGG all around. i'm already excited to plan my next trip :) read more
FINALLY got to get my Thai tea soft serve fix! I think you have to get the medium size in order to get the boba. Make sure you check in for a treat! I like how rich and creamy it is! As if Thai tea could get any better! This is definitely a cheat day treat for those with a sweet tooth. Gotta come back for seconds even though they really hook you up with a big serving. Came to this location with my wife on a recommendation from a friend who raved about their Thai tea soft serve. Although the weather was rather cold that night, we both sought it out because it was a close enough walk from dinner that same night. As we walked inside we were immediately greeted by the scent of freshly baked cookies and of course the aroma of Thai tea. I especially loved how the walls were decorated in a deep orange which made the theme of Thai tea that much more ornate. We ended up ordering a small portion of soft serve with coconut jelly and Oreo crumble. The flavor did not feel watered down at all and was easily one of the best soft serves I've had in quite some time, will def go back to try the cookie next time! read more
**Rating with a small child** Coming back from dinner, we saw this little shop that was brightly lit. The little bunny and bright lights were very welcoming, so we decided to step in for some dessert. My son and I go around Pasadena in hunt for our favorite boba, and we've actually had this one on our list for a while, so it worked out. The staff was very welcoming to my small child as I let him place our order. The pictures of the menu items made it helpful for both of us to decide what we want. We initially wanted taro, but they don't carry that here :( After going back and forth, we finally decided on the strawberry kiss. Honestly, I wish it were a little sweeter. Again, I like my boba quite sweet so it's a total preference thing. I didn't find the drink outstanding - perhaps I should've tried their ice cream instead. Maybe I'll do that next time. But my kid gives the drink two thumbs up. I also wished there more tables. Granted, it was night and the inside bench was open, but I can see it likely getting a bit crammed inside. Tried out their Soft serve Thai tea and it was absolutely delicious 5/5! Beware that it can get messy if you're not quick and it starts melting. Also tried their l'moon strawberry milk tea. It was a 4/5 for me. Ordering for pick up was easy and didn't take too long. It is a nice low key causal spot I'd definitely order from again. read more

This place is worth the hype! Adorable little shop with delicious treats. I got the Thai tea ice cream float, and it was so good. The Thai tea flavor is very strong! As your ice cream melts, it just adds to the flavor of the Thai tea so your drink is never diluted. The shop is on a one way street, so you can park on either sides of the street. Limited seating, but this is really more of a grab and go kind of thing so it works out. I will definitely be back to get another soft serve! read more

L'moon has been our list of must try places and it just happened to be within walking distance of the restaurant we were at. The location is small so seating inside and out is limited. They offer 3 sizes for their ice cream with their main flavor being Thai tea and a few drink items on their menu. They have the typical toppings you'll find at a boba shop with the addition of corn flakes and Oreos. We ordered their 9 oz Thai tea soft served with boba and it was more than what we thought it would be! One serving is more than enough for two people to share. One was overly filled and they were kind enough to offer us a bigger cup with more boba topping. Flavor wise, the thai tea soft serve was just the right amount of sweetness. The boba was soft and chewy and definitely sweeter than the soft serve. If I were to order this again I would probably ask for less boba. read more
Thai tea lover here. I saw this place on ig. I love soft serve and I love Thai tea. So I had to come check it out. Service is good. Parking sucks. Free topping with yelp check in! They have a variety of sweets and treats. My son got the soft serve with boba. I got it plain. So good! 10/10 I definitely recommend it and I'm definitely coming back if I'm in the area. Excellent Thai tea flavored desserts! The flavor of the tea is very deep, and the boba is excellent - so springy and bouncy. Milk tea and soft serve aren't overly sweet and have a nice, smooth texture. Highly recommend getting the soft serve with the boba for added texture. read more

They offer limited items on their drink and ice cream menu. You can customize your drink which is an added bonus. I came here on a warm late afternoon to try one of their soft serve ice cream. I tried one of their L'moon Specialties, a Strawberry soft serve with boba. It was good but nothing out off extra ordinary. Indoor and outdoor seats were extremely limited. Rear parking lot is available. Prices seem fairly high. Staff were competent. Overall, it's a good place to try a soft serve ice cream. read more
Thank you Instagram for this gem on my feed. This is one of the best deserts ever. I'm personally not a big sweets person but this was right up my alley! After my own obsession of Thai tea making at home I KNEW I had to come here. So I told my handy dandy boyfriend and he took me. It's very smooth and creamy, and the boba balls were a nice warm touch and chewiness to it. I love chewing on the warm balls and then having a scoop of thai tea ice cream it's a wonderful combination truly. I also ordered a double chocolate cookie and asked for it warmed and oof it was goooood. Only the center was really warm but I love chocolate so I'm completely biased. Came here on a Friday night and thought the shop was super cute! Their fall decor makes me want to just stay there and enjoy my drink. It is a little different than the one in Upland. The shop is on Green Street which is a one-way street with plenty of street parking. I do not think they have their own parking lot. It was not too busy when we went, but there was a group of people outside the shop enjoying their drinks and soft serve. We were greeted by a young lady who also took our order. I ordered the Fire Rabbit without boba and it was sooooo good 10/10. It was not too sweet. My bf opted for the Matcha/Strawberry with lychee jelly and liked that it was also not too sweet 10/10. We will definitely be back! They also have soft serve, which we did not try here (we did at their Upland location). They have ice-cream and cookies too. I found out about L'Moon Creamery through an Instagram reel! The aesthetic looked impeccable and very unique. There's parking to the right side of the store and plentiful street parking. We went on a Sunday night so there wasn't a line and we got our order quickly. We got the Thai tea soft serve with honey boba, which was a pretty solid combination. The height made it a bit tricky to eat, but if you split it between two people, the the direction the swirl tilts resolves itself. It was a bit sweet, but definitely still very good and I would get it again. I'd love to try their teas another time to see how it goes! Overall, it's the kind of place I could totally see people going to either in small groups or on a date! Would totally recommend if you like Thai tea, soft serve, or boba. read more

After seeing this place all over social media, my S.O. and I finally got to visit this place. I was very surprised to see how small and quiet this place and its surrounding area is considering we went on a weekend afternoon. Tried their very hyped thai tea soft serve as a "thai tea trophy" and wow, such a rich, decadent thai tea flavor. Soft serve was perfectly smooth, but with this, it melted very fast, haha. The thai tea trophy included different toppings including my favorite, frosted flakes/cereal - this gave the soft serve so much texture, it was such a treat to devour. My S.O. got one of their coffee drinks and he said it was okay, nothing special. Definitely worth trying the thai tea soft serve if you're a fan of that kind of flavor. read more
While driving on Green Street I discovered this place. I went inside and tried the Thai Tea float which was amazing. It was very refreshing. I got it without sweetener and with almond milk. I will definitely go back and try another drink, or yogurt. They had cookies too that were made fresh daily and smelled divine. Great service and the place is very modern and cute inside. read more
Husband and I stumbled upon this cute little dessert shop around old town Pasadena. We tried the walnut chocolate cookie (warmed) and their most popular -- Thai tea soft serve. We thought the the Thai tea soft serve was perfect. Boba was soft and fresh & the soft serve itself tasted just like Thai tea without it being too sweet. The cookie was soft, tasted good, but my husband felt like it could have been executed better and needed something added to it to make it more chewy. Overall, service was good. There wasn't too much people when we arrived so we got our dessert almost simultaneously from ordering. Plenty of street parking free 2 hours right infront of the store. We enjoyed it and will be back to try their milk teas :) read more
For those who aren't huge fans of the Thai tea flavor, I still think the soft serve is worth a try given it's not overly strong in flavor. I liked how creamy it was. I tried my friend's honey boba topping and the boba was on the chewier end which some people will like. Also if you aren't looking to eat a ton, you'll want to share even the small size. They gave a very generous portion for the small cup and it works out to share with one other person. Not really a place to sit inside but there's a bit of room to hang outside. Small shop in pasadena, they have a window inside to enjoy your treat. Had the soft serve thai tea and vanilla. Probably one of the best i had. Very creamy and not icy. Best move is to get the dark chocolate chip cookie, warmed up, and crumble bits into the soft serve as you eat. read more
