She always gives recommendations and will make sure all that gunk is out of your skin. She had to spend extra time with my extractions because my skin was so irritated, acne filled and my skin barrier was not at its best. Disclaimer that extractions HURT but I know she is taking all that gunk out. She will find things that you didn't even know you had to help your skin not be congested. My face usually isn't as cute the next few days after extractions, but man. You can tell the difference after that time period. My skin is actually smooth now with a few pimples. Hyperpigmentation is so much better. I haven't felt this confident with my skin in over a year and it's all thanks to Crystal. I love the massages she gives and she's just such a sweet woman. I am disappointed with my recent laser hair removal appointment with Mara. During this visit, Mara dry shaved my legs (they had already been shaved prior to this appointment). She dry shaved my legs really rough and not carefully, I noticed several areas that were bleeding and later developed marks that look very similar to razor cuts. This was my first appointment where I was dry shaved by the nurse literally seconds before the laser was done. When I brought this up during the appointment, my concerns were repeatedly attributed to my skin, stating that "that's just how your skin is" despite the fact that I have undergone many laser treatments without ever having this issue. I also want to add their patient portal is inaccurate. My appointment says my provider was Noelle, even after the appointment it's not documented / updated correctly who my provider was. Based on my experience, the marks appear more consistent with shaving-related cuts than a typical laser reaction. While I understand that different reactions can happen, I expected my concerns to be taken seriously and addressed professionally.
