My first time going to this site! I only came across them because it was advertised on my IG. Living in the Bay Area itself for 6 years I found a legit spot that sells bomb Salvadorean food. The service was great as well as the food. The interior space nice and clean. The chairs are slightly on the heavy side but otherwise than that it's a great atmosphere. Found this place by accident. I was hungry and saw a Subway as I drove by. Then I spotted this place. I got the 3 taco plate. Honestly wasn't expecting much. Stopped by on my lunch hour and was kind of in a hurry. Picked something that looked simple on the menu. Figured it would be a quick easy meal. Then I got my plate. Wow! Best looking tacos I've seen in a long time. Those tacos were made with love. Really hard to explain other than to say I really enjoyed that lunch. Rice and beans were also good. But those tacos were amazing! Very impressed! Not only were they delicious, it was a lot of food! I got to practice Spanish while sharing stories about visiting El Salvador the previous week. L'Rocco is an authentic and excellent comparison to the pupusas and cortido I enjoyed in San Salvador. While waiting in the dining room, I noticed the decorative grey wood paneling, big windows, and plenty of chairs and tables. Families were enjoying group seating in the open dining area. Nice clean place very friendly kind staff. Willing to explain what was what. Ordered the chicharron burrito. WOW what an excellent burrito. Tons of meat(more meat than rice) and crispy skin. Had rice and potatoes with good beans and not tons of rice to just fill the burrito. Also enjoyed the coconut drink. Not overly sweet and lots of coconut meat in the drink. For food, we ordered ceviche, the bistek encebollado platillo, and chicharron pupusa. Every bite taken was met with, "omggggg, this is sooooooooo goooood!" Came here for dinner Saturday night and we were not disappointed! They share a parking lot with Subway and Jack in the box so parking isn't a problem. The area is kind of sketchy or run down, but it fine. As we walked in the restaurant we were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to our table. They have physical menus and also a QR code. I ordered the fruit salad drink, which is a blend of fresh fruits cut up into little chinch and made into a refreshing drink. It was deliciously refreshing! For our appetizer we ordered the yuca frita. It came with fried pork, yuca fries and pickled cabbage. It was pretty darn good. For my dinner, I ordered the Salpicon, diced beef mixed with raw onions and radish. It was also garnished with mint and lime. This dish was served room temperature with hot casameinto and plantains! I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it out because there are not many Salvadoran locations in the south bay. I was greeted right away and the place was nice inside. I ordered on bean and cheese pupusa, pork/bean,cheese pupusa, Ensalada de fruta drink, and side of platanos. The pupusas we're decent and had a good ratio of filling and masa. I felt that the salsa needed more viscosity in order to stick to the pupusa better. The Fruta de Ensalada drink was a little watered down and lacked flavor. The platanos good. For the bad, a young male worker arrived who was asked to pour some aqua frescas for a customer. He put the rim of the plastic in his mouth in order to open the sliding refrigerator door and move with both hands the containers that contained the beverage. I was flabbergasted at what I saw with my own eyes! The owner should definitely look into this and train employees on proper food handling procedures. read more

When we walked in there were only two other customers which makes sense since it's still a new restaurant but I hope to see more people there because the food is amazing! We ordered the gallina asada (grilled chicken) which was flavorful and juicy. We also split some pastelitos (small empanadas filled with beef and veggies) and some pupusas filled with loroco and cheese. Every dish was served with traditional sides such as curtido (slaw) and tomato salsa. Portions were senseable, flavor was astounding, and we left stuffed. I was pretty excited to eat here . When we arrived the location it's in a small plaza with a good amount of parking spaces. When we entered we were the only customers. The waitress before seating offered us what we like to drink she told us what they have and we got the maracuya drink , it tasted very fermented and it didn't taste fresh it has a bad taste didn't even drank it. The Maracuya drink is one of my favorite drinks and sadly they didn't do it right or it had been sitting there for a while and they didn't make a fresh one. The food was not the best, I ordered salpicon it was very much minty and had lot of radish and not enough meat ,meat was bland but the platano maduro (sweet plantain) was good from my plate lol. I believe the only thing that was nice and good was the decor cleanliness of the restaurant the Pupusas and sweet plantains that were on my plate from what we ordered. I was pretty annoyed that the waitress over charged me add two extra drinks and two other items that I didn't even order, not sure how she got things confused if we where the only customers there.Overall won't come back. read more
