I have being going to Bella Luna for almost 10 years, and this includes family birthdays and holidays. I went recently with a party of 4. The staff brought us the wrong order for one of the people in my party twice (the second time we made sure the waitress heard the order properly). She waited over an hour for her meal while the rest of us ate and after the staff bringing the wrong pizza twice, she had to order pasta due to time constraints. I spoke with the manager about providing a discount for the table since our experience was very poor and he said he could not do that, he could only remove the charge for her entrée. This is poor customer service for a place in which the prices have increased significantly in the last few years. As a Baldwin Park resident, I will never go to this restaurant again. read more

My husband and I first tried this cozy Italian restaurant in 2011 when we moved to Baldwin Park, and have been coming back every Friday night we are in town ever since. During the two years we had to move away from Orlando for work, we even made a few special trips back just to have dinner here! If you like Eggplant Parmesan, I highly recommend trying it at La Bella Luna. It is the best we have ever tasted and comes with a side of spaghetti, plus a house or caesar salad, making it a great value. We order it every week! I think the magic is in the marinara sauce -- it is perfectly seasoned and goes great with everything. We usually order an extra side for dipping the complimentary garlic bread, which has the perfect combo of a crispy exterior and soft inside. The pizzas are great here too! We always get the primavera pizza with some slight alterations (adding eggplant and pineapple), but the cheese pizza always looks great too. The staff is so friendly, and as regulars, we have gotten to know many of them over the years. The owner Rajni is always there to greet us with a smile, and servers like Crystal remember us and our favorite items every time we come in. It's hard to find a restaurant where you feel like family, but that is La Bella Luna. The pasta was good but service was horrific. Had to ask for our utensils after they brought my salad because nobody bothered to provide them when we got seated and brought bread (that wasn't the greatest). 3 different servers came to our table at the beginning, but after bringing the entres nobody else came to our table. The 3 of them were serving the table beside ours, but didn't bother to make eye contact with us. My drink was empty halfway of my meal and at the end when I asked another waiter to please find ours because my cup has been empty for a long time, he said yes and keep going on his business, didn't offer to get get a drink and didn't go inside the restaurant to find them. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo add chicken. If you add chicken there is an extra cost. Delivery time was- no complaints. The flavor- was disappointing, barely any Alfredo sauce. My food tasted like I was eating pasta in butter. I didn't taste the Alfredo sauce at all, which made the chicken taste dry with no seasoning. For a plate that costs $15 I would of expected better quality. I will try this place again for their pizza, maybe I'll have a better experience. read more

We go to dance class every week in baldwin, and I stopped by before class today to see if we could place an order to pick up after dance class. The door was propped open, so I assumed they were open. There was a nice employee behind the counter who told me they opened in an hour (when I wanted to get the pizza anyway), and he was checking to see if he could take the order when he was met by a very rude woman I only assume was the manager. She said no, that their system wasn't on yet and couldn't take the order. I understand being closed, but her rudeness is why I won't be back. It was extremely unnecessary. read more

One of the best slices of pizza I have had in a long, long time. The crust is a great middle between thick and thin. It has substance but it not too filling so you can enjoy the massive amount of fresh, delicious toppings. However, it is not too thin to think that you are eating a flat bread. A perfect middle! Memory fail- however - senses do not escape me. I know I housed the first slice in about a minute. I almost finished the second slice but stopped with 1/4 left. I had a house salad to start and it was fresh and delicious but Alexis N and I agreed they could have added some croutons. About 1 min later they places these humungo garlic bread slices in front of us. Alexis didn't even know what happened, it was a like a ninja blur. This bread was amazing. Huge thick pieces of freshly baked bread brushed with garlic giving a nice crispy topping with a fluffy middle. Yes please! I asked to pack up my 1/4 of a slice to go (yes that is how good it was) and there was 1/2 a garlic bread piece left so I asked for that as well...to my surprise when I went to eat my leftovers that evening the nice waitress placed 2 fresh garlic bread pieces in my to-go for me. So nice and such a nice surprise #WIN! I dig this place and I can't wait for the nice weather to return to central FL because I like eating outside here. I've lived in Baldwin Park for a couple of years now and have come here a few times for dinner with friends and/or family and have always had a pleasant experience. They have outdoor seating and are pet friendly. The employees have always been friendly and we've enjoyed all of our entrees. Without a doubt, though, my favorite aspect of this restaurant is Da Meats Pizza. It's amazing; my boyfriend and I order it far too often... in my experience, it's the best pizza in Orlando. When I leave Baldwin Park, Da Meats is definitely one of the things I will miss most about the neighborhood. When I called to let manager know, manager Henry was awful, suggesting that the issue was mine and not his. No even suggestion that he would look into where he stores the pizza boxes or would get exterminators out to evaluate. I have three kids and boy were they disappointed. Yummy yummy is how I'm going to start this off! Delicious pizza ... super cheesy and a great amount of pepperoni and mushrooms because you know some people are cheap won't the toppings! Well not this place. They have indoor and out door seating which is always fantastic ... we had a late dinner and the place was still packed. The service was great no matter how many people were around. You saw people alone, couples, and even families eating here so the restaurant is for everyone. Inside it's pretty romantic with the lights down low and quiet. The prices and menu selections vary and are affordable for it being Baldwin Park. Pizza was okay, very doughy and the cheese was not melted all the way through (maybe they rushed it because we got there waiting to pick it up), and salad was basic tossed salad. Not the best spot for food, especially pizza, but that comes from someone who had NYC slices every our day. may give it another try, maybe another dish, but for now, I'll search elsewhere. read more

My family and I ate here in mid December. It was around early lunch time when we arrived and it didn't look crowded. Service was slow, surprisingly so bc there didn't seem to be many people around. Luckily we ordered an appetizer bc even with the appetizer, we were all very hungry by the time the pizza came. The food was fine, the pizza was entirely too doughy for my New Jersey Native (whose childhood pizzas came from her best friend's Dad who was from Italy) self. I don't normally report in public about a restaurant but sometimes, you just want to help other people avoid the same experience. Trust me, this is not Italian food. It's not even a good try! For starters, we were there for 25 minutes (with hardly anyone in there on a Saturday night) before we got our drinks. He forgot the stuffed mushroom and possibly even forgot to put the order in because he brought the salad and soup. Soup was disgusting, one taste, my friend said, "" and asked for salad instead with balsamic. It came with ranch and a bonus of a short black hair, in it! They were out of caesar dressing, I ordered ranch. If you are doing the right thing, the dressing is homemade, with everything else! not this place! It came with balsamic in the bottom of the bowl and ranch in a plastic cup. The mushroom finally came it was raw, the stuffing was like soup and full of grease. I never saw anything like this mushroom! For the main course, my friend ordered something with scallops. They came out and said, they only have 4 scallops. She ordered something else. Then the manager came out and said, "they found some scallops"! We thought, jeez, that's scary ‍! She said, surprise me (we weren't sure what would happen). They served her some sort of pasta caprese which was just awful and not the dish with the scallops? What happened, didn't even ask!? She returned it. I ordered eggplant parm with penne. OMG , it had a metallic taste in the sauce and pasta. Either both were made with rotten sink water or they were both stored in a metal container forever and took on the taste of the metal. The eggplant parts of it were mushy, some crunchy, some was breaded, some not. It was some kind of frozen food mess, It was and I couldn't force myself to eat it! There was one ok dish my boyfriend ordered, a chicken Marsala type dish, but it was only, just ok. The manager came out and said he was sorry and that it was pretty bad when the bread is better than the food! The bill came and the scallop dish that was never served was on it! The manager removed it and the mushroom as if that was a favor! My eggplant dish was on the bill which was returned for the garbage. The server was just as ‍ bad as the food. How is this place still open? I think the reviews showing 5 stars must be given by people who drank way too much alcohol before they ate. It's really a fair rating between 0.5 to 1.0 but that rating doesn't exist. All I can say is, don't go! read more

Affordable and tasty Italian place in winter park. Had the eggplant Parmesan and it was one of the better ones I've tasted. I love Baldwin Park. It is a beautiful area, filled with little spots, all within walking distance. It reminds me so much of NYC that when we saw people eating pizza while sitting outside the restaurant, my husband and I just had to try it. The food was not good.
