If you ask them, they can put a special coat on your toe nails that doesn't chip the color....how do I know this? I went here for my whole high school career and up through last year, I only went to one girl and then she got fired, the next several ladies that I went to wouldnt give the type of quality and service I was paying for, they cut my cuticles and ruined my nails, giving me an infection in two of my fingers and costing my 200 dollars in medical bills to get rid of (doesnt sound like alot but that was with insurance, it can get pricey if you dont have any) when I explained that they were cutting me I was brushed off, sadly I had to tell them goodbye and find someone else at a different salon, one which does an amazing job. The icing on the cake, they do talk about their customers in Vietnamese, a group of friends and I were talked about while we were in there. I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this nail shop. Aside from the male that did my fill and the lady that did my pedicure, this place was decent. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because the purposely overcharged me for no reason. I went in and got a fill and a pedicure. It clearly states that a gel fill is $18 and my pedicure was $20. I did not get anything extra, and mind us my nails are short. Well after all of my services were completed I go to the resister to pay and she charged me $50!! If my math is correct I should have only paid $38 correct?! I really want to love this place but for the simple fact that she over charged me and had the nerve to say that $18 was the price for a gel fill with no color?! Isn't that point for gel is the GEL COLOR? That is what I am paying for! But whatever!! Idk what to think of this when my classmate paid $38 and her nails are longer than mine. I really feel taken advantage of. I just wish that they would treat everyone equal and not take advantage of a new customer. I have come here about three times now since this place is very close to my work. Overtime I have come the ladies here do a great job. Sometimes I come during my lunch and they do my gel mani-pedi super fast and it looks amazing. Some of the ladies do not speak english very well but that is expected. They have a decent selection of gel polishes. The other great thing is that I never have to wait if I made an appointment. Who would have thought? I used to love coming here, it was my go-to get my nails did spot. Its around the corner from where I live and Tina always does an awesome job on my nails. She gives me her honest opinion (when I ask) about what looks good on me and what doesn't. She really does a great job and if it weren't for the "cons" I would continue going there. The first con is that they became cash only. I never carry cash! Yes they have an atm inside but who wants to pay $5 just to get your own money out...I sure don't. The other and biggest con is because of the owner, wish I knew her name. I used to like her. She was always pleasant and always remembered me. Well after they switched to a cash only policy I still went. After my services, I paid and asked for change in 1's so I could tip. I had the money on the counter and was trying to figure out how much to I owed plus how much to pay. Well the owner decides to swipe $1 for herself and put it in her box. I DID NOT tell her she could take the $1, and she so calmly did it that I almost didn't notice. I know I should have called her out on it but I was too shocked! Why would you risk losing a customer over ONE STINKIN dollar bill is beyond me. I did end up going back because I really do like the awesome job Tina does but the owner was extra friendly towards me when I went back that it just turned me off. I can not deal with that phoney-baloney stuff. I haven't been back since. And the 2 stars is really just for Tina, otherwise I do not recommend this place. read more

I've been going to La Belle Nails for about a year now. They've generally done a good job, and it's cheap. I started with Lan the owner doing my pedi's and she was very good at the beginning. The last two times I've had other girls doing pedi's and a full set of nails. They did a really good job only wish I had remembered their names and booked with them. I went back the other day and had my pedi done by Lan, which I thought would be good. Boy was I wrong, she didn't completely take off the previous nail polish, the filing was horrible, lots of bubbles, missed polish at some nail portions and forgot to put the top coat for shine. Just bad all around. I complained and they tried to fix it but it really just needed to be redone. Might me cheap but not worth wasting my time and money. read more

I tried this new place because i got an offer for a $20 shellac manicure from groupon. I called for an appointment on a Friday and was told they were too booked to see me anytime before Monday so I scheduled my appointment for 7pm. I arrived and there were three women already working on other clients so I was told to wait. I don't understand why I had to make an appointment if I was going to be treated as a walk in client. I was finally helped to a seat at 715 but wasn't actually helped until 730! The pedicure ($20) was good and she took her time. The shellac manicure was okay but the color doesn't appear as deep as I'd hoped for. She did two coats but you can still see through. came here because i couldn't find the nail salon i was looking for.. i did my nails a day ahead for a wedding to attend.. and they turned out very sloppy.. i did shellac french tip on my natural nails and i had to reshape them when i got home because they were soo uneven. the lady was either in a rush or doesnt like to keep up with perfection because the sides of my french tip were short on most fingers which is one of my biggest pet peeve when it comes to French tip.. I hate to downgrade any rating but I had 3 bad experiences in a row. This place gets a lot of business, which is awesome as I want them to succeed. But nowadays they never give you a clear wait time, it's always "just a little wait ". The last time I was there with my friend, we were told we would have to wait "a little " as usual; we checked after 20 mins and were told we would be next. We left without getting any service done after 45 mins. if the lady in front had told us it's a 40 min wait, we would have gone somewhere else , BUT I would have come back the next time. But a 45 minutes wait without so much as an apology made me quite upset. After the last experience , I am not sure I will be going back. Better avoid this place if you are doing a walk-in. read more

I've been coming here for YEARS.. At least 5..3 years ago Lyna took over and completely remodeled the place. NEW Pedicure and nail stations, new floors, more selections of gel polishes(even the color changing ones). Everything is really clean and they even have plastic liners for the spa pedicure stations! (Love this). They have different packages so You can go in for a basic $20 pedicure or Go all out and get the royal treatment. I only can afford to pamper myself once a month, sometimes every two, and i put these girls to work.they make sure to get all ingrowns out and callous removed . I decided to give this place another try since a couple of my friends told me that there was a change in ownership and staff. To my surprise, they remodeled and everyone looks a lot more professional! I did my normal mani/pedi and was very happy with the results. There was no chit chat from the ladies and they were a lot more attentive to my needs. I was really impressed with the fact that they used new sterilized tools for each person. The owner came around and introduced herself, offered me bottled water, and told me that she's trying to change the image. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the results. I was so upset with my experience that I had to write a review (my very first ever). I went in on Labor Day only because my usual place was closed and was desperate to get my nails done. I read a few reviews and decided to try my luck. The ladies were super friendly and greeted me promptly, but that was the only pleasant part of my experience. The person working on my pedicure did a good job, my complaint was the person doing my manicure. I think she was the owner. First off, she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing! I told her I wanted my nails cut and filed for a french manicure. When she was filing my nails down, it was so uneven, I asked her for the filer to file it down myself to my liking.... believe me, I'm not exaggerating as to how messed up it was. Then, without even putting on a base coat, she proceeded to paint the tips with which made it bubble! I was so upset, I just had her take it all off and put on a clear coat and even with that, she didn't cover the entire nail. She started painting about 1/3rd of the way down! It's the worst experience I've ever had. I will never go back to this place. I guess it's my fault for cheating on Tina who usually does my nails! :( read more

This nail salon is under new management, so they're trying to build back up the name for this place. BUT they're not doing a good job at bringing customers back, let alone maintaining their old customers. Every time you're there they push you to get services done, when you repeatedly decline. I came here only to get eyelash extensions because every other salon was booked. The lady who did my eyelashes was nice and professional so I have no complaints about her. But the lashes only lasted for about a week when they were suppose to last for 2.5 weeks. It started hurting towards the 7th day so I decided to go back to get it removed. The lady who did my eyelashes wasn't sure of the price it costed to remove it but assured me it wasn't more than a few bucks. She asked the manager how much they charged and she totally made up a price in her head. It ended up being 10$ to remove the lashes which only took 10 minutes. At other salons they remove the lashes for free if you get the eyelash services done there. I also got 3d work done on two of my nails and it came off a day later. Do not recommend going here! The lady that did mine was rough, pretty sure she cut me while cutting my cuticles because I just felt a sudden burning feeling then she put my foot in the water? The scrub was ok, the lotion ok, didn't have a smell to it like other salons that make you smell nice and like you just walked out of a nail salon. Worst manicure I've ever had the displeasure of having in my life. Nails were uneven with lots of bubbles and lots of polish on the surrounding skin. Most ridiculously, the polish on one of my nails weren't painted at the very tip so I went back to get it fixed. After the lady "fixed" it, it looked WORSE than it was the first time. The color was uneven between the area she tried to fix and the rest of the nail. The top coat was all over the side of my nail. She was OBVIOUSLY rushed and trying to finish quickly to get to the next client. DO NOT GO HERE. I normally don't step outside the box when going to a new place I've never been to regarding beautification purposes. For my nails I've been going to Nail Art on Blossom Hill in San Jose. They are awesome and I love them but yesterday I decided to try La Belle Nails :) I was promptly greeted even when I was walking from my car.. I worked with Tan and she was awesome! I don't think I've ever talked THAT much with a nail technician as I did with her! She was awesome!!! Got a pedicure, not sure what type because it was a birthday present, but they used an exfoliator for my legs and feet, hot stones to massage, hot towels, then paraffin. I came here awhile ago, and was a regular customer. I always got French nails in shellac. They started cracking and turning black days after getting them done, I eventually stopped getting my nails done all together. I just went back and got the same thing, the lady had to redo two of my nails three times because they kept bubbling, then another woman took over, fixed the two, and they looked acceptable. I got in the car and saw my pinky nail was all bubbly. Plus the two the woman had "fixed" are all smudged and rough. NEVER EVER going back. read more
