    Ranchero burrito

This is my favorite place to eat in Redmond! If you like a good, wet breakfast burrito this is your place! Everything we've tried is wonderful. You can also have your burrito as a bowl without the tortilla. Ranchero burrito is my favorite. The owners are the kindest people! Prices are unbeatable too. Always fresh ingredients not frozen. Cute umbrella/table to sit while you wait, too. Highly recommend checking it out!

Staff is so friendly and kind! Authentic and flavorful breakfast burrito. We got the bacon breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Great size for the value and you can tell the ingredients quality. Our favorite part was the green salsa. As a Redmond local, this might be our new go to spot.

I had a half order of biscuits and gravy (everything made from scratch, that was obvious!)...delightfully spicy and the perfect amount (still had leftovers!). I know on a Sunday at 10am, there were lots of indoor and outdoor tables available. I know this because I saw them, and then they tried to put me, a solo diner, at a table in the corner of the main "hallway" between the dining areas where two seats face a wall. There would constantly be the entire restaurant at my back, every new diner walking behind me, everyone leaving would be behind me. Every wait person walking back and forth, completely while I stared at the wall. I'm really unsure of why anyone would ever want to sit in this seat. And that's where they wanted me. With LOTS of tables available. I didn't sit there. I was "upgraded" to the same setup, only this time I got to be with my back to a family of 10, reunioning, with lots of screaming kids. That's cool. They need to eat too. But I love that I get selected to be the intimate companion in this tiny room with lots of other tables available. Like the two 2-tops in the front room. Wait staff largely ignored me after someone dumped off water, got drinks for the big table, left, came back, took their order. And that took a while because all that time they had to look at the menu meant they had to ask about six items and then consult the 3 year old for their opinion. Which seemed to take a lot of interpretation. Then the wait staff left. She did touch my shoulder (since my back was to this table, I couldn't see. Which did not make me feel good, frankly) and said she'd be back. She did eventually after taking care of the table behind. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy on the side, eggs over hard, and a biscuit upgrade. The screaming child provided ambient noise. That was lovely, especially with the little room I was in reverberating the concert since the parents felt this was a valuable addition to the breakfast. So my food did come pretty fast, I'll say that. The eggs were underseasoned but okay. The biscuit was pretty good and the potatoes were definitely fried potatoes. I saw four slivers of onion in them but they were unseasoned fried potatoes. The chicken fries steak...well, if it didn't come from frozen, I'd be surprised. It was food. It wasn't horrible. The wait staff did refill my soda without asking, and gave me a to go cup, which was really nice. Overall, the experience wasn't great and the food wasn't good enough for me to come back. That said, I'm an out of town visitor and opted for this place on my one time to choose where to eat in Redmond. I wish it had been better.

I had another place in mind but was met with a boarded up building and Country Nook was across the street, so I checked it out. I was greeted within seconds of walking in and seated promptly with a menu. The booth was clean and the table free from stickiness. Bonus points! Being a certified lover of biscuits and gravy I decided to try the breakfast with that, eggs and hash browns. The food came within five minutes and it was really nice looking. the gravy had a slightly off white thing going on, but the flavor was excellent. Gravy does not have to be stark white to be good. The biscuit was just average, something just a little more special or maybe fresh would have put it over the top. It was not bad at all, just the gravy cries for something above average to be under it. Eggs were cooked the way I asked and the hash browns were very good. The service was really friendly, they checked on me often, but not an annoying amount of times. Prices were very reasonable and the rest room was clean. Could not ask for anything more. I liked it so much I came back the next day for the pancakes, which are exceptional!!! Marking Country Nook on my return to list.

Being a local I've never thought to try the EBarGrill until today and let me tell you I 100% regret going here. I ordered the Mexican Omelet that was nothing near what was described while my fie ordered what they think is biscuits & gravy. Up to this point I was like ok, maybe next time we try something else. My omelet was attractive enough but it had no salsa in it or on the side. They gave me a little cup of ketchup in place of the salsa! I finally got our servers attention (Mind you were one of 3 tables and 2 servers) She gives me an annoying look as if I was inconveniencing her! I say there is no salsa and you gave me ketchup on the side and I'd like the thing as I ordered it from the menu. She never brings it, 20 minutes later I can't eat anymore of this food ... there is hardly any meat in it, and what is there has been so reheated that it barely constitutes being called hamburger, you know the cheapest meat in the beef family ... and again, no salsa as it is described in the description. Then to add to the insult, our waitress didn't come back to the table to ask if we needed anything, let alone refills on our drinks. She couldn't even to bring the bill at the end, she saw me go to the register and everything, and only by chance was my wife able to wave her down. In the end the staff was without remorse for the worst service I've ever had in Redmond, let alone the entire state of Oregon. Bad food, bad service but apparently most people don't notice it because they offer a complete Bar selection from the time they open until closing so that might bring light to the comments on great this place is ... impaired eaters :P

It wasn't busy at all, however, we waited 5 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes for our server to come take our drink order but by that time, we were ready to order our food already. I had a soup and half sandwich combo. The only soup offered was loaded baked potato, which I didn't mind since it's one of my favs. For my half sandwich I went with a BLT on sourdough. My friend had the Eggs Benedict. Luckily our food came out at about average timing after placing our order. My soup was good-- thick and creamy, cheesy, and had a decent amount of bacon. My half BLT had nice crisp bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato and hit the spot. My friend said his eggs bene was average and wished the sauce had more flavor.
