For those looking for more vegetarian options, i went out on a limb and tried the eggplant panini with the Lau bou house salad and it was delish! The sweetie behind the register was super helpful and knew I wanted meat so made several suggestions and was very upbeat and it was super busy she was still attentive and provided dope service. Can't go wrong with a baguette and dill sauce I feel like that's a staple at La Bou!

Fabulous! Have been a La Bou fan for many years. Hadn't visited this La Bou since leaving the area several years back, but glad I returned for some great memories. This location is better than ever. Great food & wonderful coffee. Plenty of seating & the team working the location are very pleasant.

Very polite, delicious and kind. The ambiance is excellent. Is the food organic? The food tastes organic?

I went to La Bou today to get scones. They are the best! We had apricot and lemon scones and they were fruity and moist. This is my favorite place to get scones. I the gentleman that took my order was polite and nice. He even brought our order to the table for us which I appreciated. This is a very casual atmosphere. It's a nice place to get food and hang out. Will definitely go back

The baguette and dill dressing are a must to get if your at La Bou. They're absolutely amazing. The bread is nice and soft and the drill dressing is so unique and flavorful. For this visit, I got the tomato bisque, breakfast egg sandwich, Thai tea, matcha latte, and a baguette with dill dressing to go. The teas were on the sweet side for me, but my partner loved how sweet and creamy they were. Sandwich was a miss, but the soup was yummy! Extra notes: also love that they have senior Sundays, it's such a sweet gesture to the community! Updated hours are 7am-3pm for now.

La Bou is my go to for the Chinese chicken salad and baguette with dill sauce. Anything else that I ever ordered had been meh for me. The chocolate croissants are skimpy on the chocolate, tomato bisque leans on the sour side and their Panini sandwiches have a good amount of meat, but it is often soggy by the time I get home and the drive is not that far. The service is friendly, but there's been a few times where one or two items have been forgotten and I don't realize until after I get home.

La Bou will always be one of our favorite go to spots for the Chinese chicken salad! Great size portions and love the dressing.

It's in a very large…read moreAsian, mini mall, which has things such as a shipping store, plenty of places to eat, a water store, a barbershop, things to buy, etc. It was a nice place. Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! They were sad to find out that the bakery is in Sacramento (the party was in the East Bay). I would definitely order from them again and I highly recommend. Thank you Freeport Bakery!

Unfortunately I came 5 mins before closing and while there were people still there, I felt like I should rush because I'd want to get off work too. Rugulach (I know I butchered it) was Tasty! Got both the chocolate and the raisin walnut cinnamon. Prefer the raisin as the whole thing tasted less dry. Bd enjoyed the biscotti but next time I'll get him the one dipped in chocolate. The orange and raspberry cookie with the almond paste was lovely! Crumbly melty when you bite into it, nice texture and not too sweet. Pb chocolate chip was the most generic. Wouldn't get it again. Have yet to try the slice of salted caramel cake which was recommended to try at room temperature. I meant to order a chocolate cake because of their rave reviews! Next time!
