That's the michelada. Seemed more like just beer.

Service was good. The decor is nice. It is too expensive and not tasty. 70$ plus tip for two micheladas, a plate of taquitos and a torta ahogada is outrageous.

¡Benditoooo!

Great food and service! A beautiful family owned restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine. P.S. The tortas are enormous!

    Food

Portions are huge--we left completely stuffed! The potato and egg tacos were packed and the house-made flour tortillas were delicious. We also had the carnitas kekas, which were good, though the green sauce is pretty strong on lime and cilantro. The torta posada was the highlight--super tasty--and it came with crispy, crunchy fries.

The food was good but the service was top tier. Everyone was so welcoming and polite. They really took care of us. Highly highly highly recommend.

This traditional Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. I ordered a lonche with pulled pork, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh bread, tender and flavorful pork, perfectly seasoned ingredients, and generous portions. What really made it stand out was the hot sauce: full of flavor with just the right amount of heat, not overpowering but incredibly tasty. You can tell everything is made with care and authentic flavors. If you're craving real Mexican food done right, this place is definitely worth a visit.

found this cute little restaurant on the west side of San Antonio, and I am so glad I did! The decor is really charming--it's got a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful--such a treat! One thing I loved was the unique dishes they served our food on--such a fun, cute detail! And shoutout to our waitress, Nayeli, who was so kind and helpful. She made the whole experience that much better.

Great food!!! Good vibes and excellent customer service Cute hidden place for date night.

Amazing food, great customer service and the cutest set up. We ordered the Keka, a gringa, quesabirria, shrimp tacos, and a torta posada. They had a variety of aguas frescas served in the cutest cups. The ambiance is very authentic and super cute decor with multiple photo ops. Overall highly recommended, will definitely come again when in San Antonio!

    Beautiful decor.

Found a jewel of a restaurant that everyone should try. The food is not tex-mex. There is zero rice and beans. The food is more similar to how food is ordered in Mexico. Absolutely beautiful decor, murals and romantic lighting. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The hot dog appetizer was complimentary and came with a sauce and three salsas. I recommend the red. I ordered quesabirria in corn with tender shredded beef. I dipped my tacos in the consumé and when I finished I put the fresh chopped veggies in and had the best soup. What an amazing restaurant to experience true Mexican cuisine.

Food is amazing! First time coming here and it was so enjoyable, the ambiance, customer service and of course the food is top notch. We had chips, guacamole, salsa (red is the best), and ordered a tostada with fish and shrimp ceviche to share as an appetizer and it was nicely done and fresh. The mango Fresca is delicious and not too sweet, we both ordered tortas mine Garbancera (pictured) is a party in your mouth. My boyfriend ordered the and said that the bbq sauce completed the torta with the salty and sweet flavors. We'll be back for breakfast bc the menu is fire.

I decided to stay in the city longer to check out this place. This restaurant is huge and the wait was 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We used our waiting time to stroll through the Mercado across the way. Once the table was ready, my friend got a text. I always wanted to try menudo every Mexican restaurant I go to. But not until I saw the sign on the back cover. This restaurant is under the same owner as Pico de Gallo. Omg. I just had their menudo the day before. No thanks. I decided to order fajita chicken salad. The portion was really small. The food only filled a half of the fried salad bowl. I asked to put cheese on the side. It may had it look more but I don't eat cheese as much. I was glad that dressing was on the side. Which was too salty for me. So, if the food was the same as other chain, we could have eaten there which was closer to the hotel. But I noticed the difference was the servers. Our waitress was cuter and very polite. My friends kept teasing her. She kept good manner and responded back with a smile "uhhh no". Hahaha.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. Note that if you're dining solo, they will push hard to seat you at a dark diner type counter to stare at the kitchen area even if you have a reservation, so don't give in unless you're starving and that's your last resort. The colorful decor hits you and you're transported. I ordered the "Mexican Dinner" with chicken enchilada, pork tamal, beef taco with beans and rice. Also had a side order of fresh handmade tortillas. Paloma to wash it all down. Everything tasted great. My server was excellent. Patient and helpful with recommendations. The mariachi band was fun and they roamed the restaurant and bar to play, so chances are that if they aren't singing at your table then they're nearby.

Our waiter checked on us a lot and was very knowledgeable about food allergies and substitutions. Our drinks and meal came out fairly quick. The guac and chips are yummy. It doesn't come with a side but it does have 3 very filling tacos. It was grilled halibut, pico, romaine lettuce, guacamole and Baja sauce. It was delicious and very flavorful. It needed a spicier sauce but deff would go back for this.

Cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and love the pickled onions and lime on the side. My husband ordered the old fashioned, which he liked. I got the mezcal spritz which was 10/10 (and huge). We couldn't decide on desserts and decided to split the cheesecake and churro waffle. They ran out of cheesecake so they gave us tres leches as a substitute--as a huge tres leches fan, this was even better. Both desserts were outstanding. 10/10 will be back if visiting San Antonio again Service was also exceptional--ask for Theresa!! Love the setting, definitely sit outside if you can! Sitting by the river is super scenic and romantic.

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. Just a little heads-up for anyone else, we realized on our way out that there's an extra parking lot right across the street if the main one fills up. Super handy to know!

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
