Almost everything sold out because I got there late. The delicious guava pastries are $1 and the guava and cheese are $1.05.

This bakery is absolutely spotless, typically busy and always friendly. They seem to specialize in cakes but I'm here to tell you the guava, cheese, and guava plus cheese pastries are absolutely delicious. Flaky, fresh, tasty and embarrassingly inexpensive. Guava pastries are only a dollar and guava plus cheese are a dollar and five cents. I kid you not. Last Sunday, I bought four. Big spender here! Their coffee is also excellent. The colada always has a nice crema and I order it sweet because we love Cuban coffee that way. If there is a line, head around to the right and wait for someone to yell "next!" Everyone has been very gracious. Nobody has tried to cut in line and folks let you go when it's your turn. My Spanish is not strong but I always try my best. They are very patient with me. Finally, they take credit cards. No problema! We love coming here. One colada for two people will brighten and accelerate your day and possibly evening depending on when you drink it. Be warned. Life is good with local Cuban pastries and sweet Cuban coffee!

It would appear that 2 shops have combined into one doubling the size of the bakery. It might be new ownership because the sign now reads Angelito's La Caridad Bakery. It is a much improved ambiance. One side of the place has hot food and pastries. You can order sandwiches, a limited variety of hot spanish dishes, hot spanish pastries and coffee. The other room houses all the cold and room temp products. Mostly cakes and pastries. The counter tops have bulk bags of pastry favorites that you can grab and go for the home or office. Their goods are moderately to very good in flavor but look fantastic. I came to get the wife some goodies for her birthday this month. Doesn't matter who you are, you will find something or many things to like.

In the mood for Cuban pastries, and finger food. Went to Angelito's authentic Cuban bakery. The place was clean, neat, and all the attendants looked professional, and catered to your needs. A lot to choose from. Everything looked fresh. i ordered a Cuban sandwich made to order. A Masterva a mate like-tea soft drink, cold. Ordered guava pastries, cheese pastries, and guava/ cheese patties. Everything was delicious, yummy, tender in texture, and tasty. They offer a variety of pastries, breads, sandwiches, fruit shakes, soft drinks, and definitely cafe or coffee with milk or however you want it. I'll definitely comeback. There's so many Cuban delicacies to choose from.

One of my favorite bakeries in Tampa. Highly recommend. Line might get long on Sundays but it's worth it.

It is the whole experience. Before you even open the doors, this place looks magical. Opening the doors confirms what your imagination was pre-planning. It is absolutely fantastical. You're instantly transported back decades. The menu, the service, the decor, the ambience... Everything was top-notch. They probably could've served TV dinners, and I would still give this a four star review minimum. We started with some empanada appetizers which were delicious. My dad ordered the famous Cuban sandwich which, I'm not gonna lie, I thought it was a little dry. Definitely did not seem world, famous, although the bread was fantastic. I ordered, I don't know what I ordered, it was something that I had never tried before, which is what I like to do. I order things that I'm not going to ever cook in my own kitchen. It was ground meat with an assortment of Cuban flavors and delicate rice. It was good. The star of the show was the white chocolate bread pudding. It might be the best bread pudding I've had in my entire life, certainly top five. My dad doesn't like bread, pudding, and even he thought it was pretty ridiculous. The second star of the show was the Coke. I don't know what they serve... But the Coke was refreshing. The prices were very reasonable compared to the entire experience. I would for sure go back on a regular basis. Pretty much, if you are in the neighborhood, you have to go here.

I've only had Argentinian-style milanesa before, and I can easily say I liked the Teresita style better. The marinara sauce on the milanesa brings enough acidity to cut through the grease from the fried meat -- the meat is thin and crispy, but not at all dry. The fries and yellow rice make the meal an absolute steal based on the amount of food you get. My friend had the fried fish, which looked delicious -- excited to try it myself next time. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

The rice was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned -Salmon and fries: this was really good, flavorful and cooked great. We just wish it was a little bigger for the cost. -Vanilla Flan: very good, just a bit small. -Tres Leche: stole the show! Fabulous! I would come back just for this! The texture was perfect and the flavor was flawless! It was sweet but not too sweet. Great dessert! Definitely check your food before leaving though as they did forget part of the meal. Not a big deal as the guy up front was super apologetic and friendly. That dude was great! They need more just like him. Also, not the cleanest, floors needed swept and mopped. They have four locations, and we went to the one in the Ybor City Historic District. La Segunda is an institution for Cuban bread and pastries, baking 18K loaves daily and ships nationwide via Goldbelly. Our niece's BF is Cuban, and he said buy anything with guava. In the box (see photo), we bought two each of guava flip (kind of a folded tart or empanada), guava turnover, and guava flip with cream cheese. All of them are delicious! I like the flaky guava turnovers the most even though they didn't survive the transportation across the country in my backpack as well as some of the others. Even though slightly crumbly, still yummy! I also bought butter cookies, sold by the pound. Those are relatively ordinary; I'll skip those in the future. Next time, we are carrying Cuban sandwiches home! I really wish I carried them home. I was having Cuban sandwich withdrawal. This location is older but functional; there isn't seating. Their customers know what they want, and everything moves FAST. If it's your visit (like it was for us), I suggest looking at the menu online to know what to order. The service is friendly, even though I can tell he was a bit exasperated that I didn't just yell out my order and I asked questions. I honestly don't fault him. Busy places have their own pace, and the customers are the ones to keep up. That's perfectly ok.

My wife ordered the empanadas and the half 1905 salad and I ordered the half and half......half Cuban and half 1905 salad. My wife should have added 'bring them together' but she didn't and the server didn't bother to ask so the empanadas came out and everything else came out 15 minutes later. My wife had a cocktail and the bill was $60.20. Issues to fix: 1)I ordered a Coca Cola, $4.00 and in 92 degree weather it melts in 5 minutes. We were there for an hour and not one time did she ask if I'd like a refill. 2)When she made the 1905 table side she literally 'dropped' a handful of salad ON THE FLOOR between my wife's and my seat......she kind of chuckled, gave us our salads and walked away. She literally left the SALAD ON THE FLOOR THE ENTIRE MEAL! During the course of our meal probably 20 employees walked by and never bothered to pick it up. That in itself was the epitome of laziness and complete lack of respect to the customer. Our bill was $60.20 and I tipped $12 which normally I'm a 30% tipper and I could kick myself for giving her 20%. She deserved zero. I know I will never get a response from management but do you think I will ever come back? Nyet.
