The owner was super nice and extremely knowledgeable. With their help I was able to get exactly what I needed. They have very healthy animals and process them humanely as they are a Halal establishment. I later learned that due to the Halal approach, the meat is organic and antibiotic free which is really important for quality flavor. Overall this is a really quality business. If you are in San Antonio and need meat, consider E&A as they are an awesome family run local business! Without a doubt this is a five star business! I plan on buying from them in the future.

First, the prices changed drastically, and ever since then, the quality has been consistently below par. We spend quite a bit here, but it has become a regular disappointment. If it happened once in a while, I could understand, but it's every single time. Out of a bag, we regularly end up losing 3 to 4 coconuts. The last time was the worst, 8 out of 12 were bad. What's the point of buying them if the quality keeps going down? Really disappointing experience from a place I once trusted.

There's a line when we went at 6:30pm so go early if you want the beef brisket. Bread was included. Ambiance: it's similar to the other bbq places in Texas, where it's kind of a cafeteria line and you pay by the pound at the end.
