My son and I have ordered from here for delivery twice. I got the asado combo plate and my son got enchiladas. BOTH times it's been a homerun! We went a few times to give them a chance. However, each time, they brought our food out cold. We had to ask them to heat it up for us. The one older gentleman waiter is too busy talking with friends instead of waiting on his customers ... he and the bartender do shots quite often. If they're doing it every time we're there, they're doing them a lot. It looks unprofessional. I agree with others posting about the food... guacamole and queso is nothing great. The margarita was weak, as in like I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. I had to ask them to add more. Sorry, but at the price of drinks, I don't like being gypped on the alcohol. And also, the older gentleman waiter doesn't come back to ask if you need more drink or chips & salsa. If I have to chase them down to get food or drinks, it's not worth it. We go to Dos Compadres with friends and family all the time. That will now be our go to place for Mexican food. Give them a try. They are good at taking care of customers and getting the food out while it's hot. They have great burgers, too. It had been awhile since I had eaten at Tony's and was anticipating a great meal . I've seldom been more disappointed In a meal. The ambience was as always good tho a bit loud . The service was good , the chili Renos had half the beef they used to have . And the guacamole was simply mashed avocados with no added flavors . Thursday's have to be the best days to come to Tequila Tony's. It's definitely because of their $0.99 margaritas. At first I was skeptical... Who sells Margaritas for $0.99? They had to be horrible or have a limit, right? Wrong! These are some really good margaritas - on the Rocks only for the $0.99. They are effective and you can drink as many as... well as many as you can or wanna pay for! Outside of the margaritas, their food to me is really just OK. My husband and I had not been to Tequila Tony's in a long while. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Waiter said they only had Ranch dressing?? I thought this was odd. To say the least , my salad came out looking pretty pathetic. I only got sliced iceberg lettuce covered with lots of cheese and ranch dressing and a few pieces of cold /old grilled chicken. It looked like a 5 year old had put it together. Cost was 15.99 My husband ordered grilled fish and shrimp . This was a nice spot for dinner and drinks. Tried a few different drinks. The tropical margarita was nice but to sweet for my liking but the Mexican chilton was exactly what I was looking for. The salsa to start wasn't very good. Salsa had very watery consistency and had way to much cilantro. Went with chorizo queso for appetizer. It's was absolutely delicious and the fresh avocado tops it off. For our meal we had pescado magnifico and beef fajitas. The fish and shrimp came out delicious. Fajitas had great flavor and cooked well but the onions were barely cooked and no peppers came with fajitas. Lastly we ordered a sopapillas which was nice crisp and soft with plenty of cinnamon and sugar topping. read more

Tequila Tony's is an odd duck. There have been time where I've gone and it has been more than acceptable and others where it has been outright bad. The food is on average good, though for some reason the chicken that they use in certain dishes goes from being cheap canned chicken to the nice chicken you'd expect. They do have a great drink selection, and it is definitely more of a place to drink and have a lighthearted meal with friends. Overall, I can neither recommend them no put them down too far since I have been and had a good experience on occasions. The wait staff varies quite a bit from very good to quite poor. Go here only if you're feeling lucky! read more

We had a party of six and only 4 were present so they refused to seat us until the others arrived. We then said we would just take a table for 4 the rude hostess said " well don't think you can just pull up chairs if they show up you will all have to all get up and come wait up front for a bigger table" The manager was also there rolling her eyes and made it clear they were going to not accommodate us. My husband is working in this area now, and nightly we have been trying different places to eat to check them out. Well last night we decided to check out Tequila Tony's because it looked busy, and the Take out menu at the hotel, recommend the place. When we were seated it was across from the kitchen, which is open for all to see. The dirty mop bucket was out on the floor, outside the kitchen. The kitchen people were running around and I only saw one person use the hand cleaner when he came out and that is because he saw me watching him. The place is dark and dirty looking. The lady's bathroom is just awful. The floor is all yellow around the toilet, the faucet to wash your hands looked like it was being eaten away by something. The soap dispenser box was broken and almost empty. (to be honest, I felt cleaner before I went to the bathroom) Our server was alright, but I had asked for butter, which he forgot about, then later when he remembered, the bowl was dirty that he bought it in. I was going to ask for a new bowl and that is when the mouse ran across the floor from under our booth. The poor little thing was almost step on by 3 busboys, one with a cart. My quick thinking Husband trying not to cause a scene, stole a take away cup which was on the ledge above our head (from the cashier) that was filled with water, poured it out, went over and placed it over the mouse in front of the kitchen staff who gave him a napkin to place over the mouse in the cup. They were amazed that he caught it. (it was slow like from poison and was wet, I can only assume from the mop bucket) My husband then took it outside in the grass behind the place and let it go. In the mean time, I sit there and I could not even think about eating another bit, (Yak!) When my husband came back in,our waiter wanted to know if we need anything else, we only wanted the check. The check slip has a survey on the bottom, which we filled out letting the cashier know what happened, and how we rated the place. She did say that she was sorry about everything and did not want to charge us for the meal, That was not what we were after and paid for our meal. I've been eating here for about 5 years I love the pescao a la parilla. Every time I order this, it's freaking awesome!! However, I stopped coming to this restaurant about a year ago, because we saw roaches crawling on the wall. We decided to give them another try. Once again, a roach was crawling on the window. Been here a few times when they first opened. It was amazing the staff was friendly and fast. The food was delicious. Now it's the worst place in Odessa. Every time I come here the service gets worse and worse. I came to pick up some food. The hostess never said hello and never even tried to help me. When I finally got someone's attention to take my order it's was over 20 minutes. They were rude and unhelpful. I decided to give them one more chance and nope still the worst place in town. I walked in waited for another 20 minutes before anyone approached me. When told them I wanted to place a to go order he just walked away from me. Then instead of just taking my to go order he argues with me about the hostess taking the order which she never even said anything to me. I will never come back to this place.
