Great restaurant at the beach! Food, service and ambiance all perfect! Randomly stumbled upon this place while in Puerto Vallarta, and what a lucky find of a gem. They have a ton of seating right on the beach under umbrellas and comfortable chairs that reclines back. The service was attentive and friendly. Local beers are the same price as a soda. We also ordered avocado, filled with tuna, and they used fresh sashimi tuna meat. The portion sizes was huge. It was so nice to sit there, eat and drink and go in the ocean or a swim. Come back and eat some more. Wonderful experience highly recommend.

He makes some fabulous concoctions. Shayla the server isn't that great at her job, but her personality makes up for her lack of memory :). Food is delicious. However.... I ordered a pizza. The only one on the menu without olives. I can't eat them. Pizza comes out with olives. I tell the owner that it wasn't on the menu. He asked me to PICK THEM OFF! If that isn't poor customer service I don't know what is. Thankfully olives aren't lethal to me. That could have been bad. So, I picked off about a pound of sliced olives and enjoyed the rest of my pizza. If not for the stellar drinks and the ladies night I probably wouldn't come clear out here. My friends all really love this bar and the vibe is really cool. Just wish I was met with better service over the olive ordeal. Of course I was charged full price for that as well. Still bitter about that.

Everything started off great, but then as the evening went on things really turned sour and disappointing! We were offered a table on the beach. When we sat down, there were people using the public part, which is totally ok, but many of them were smoking marijuana, which was a factor that also ruined our experience. My children do not need to be around that when dining. If the restaurant knows the beach crowd is rowdy that's fine! Just warn us! Then as the night went on, a man and woman started fighting and wound up ripping each others clothes off. I and a few other attendees had to be the ones to get involved! No police presence at all. We did not finish our meal as it felt unsafe when they were fighting. We left our steaks and drinks half finished. There was no offer of a partial refund at all. "Oh that's a public part of the beach" is all they could say. What a waste. My children were exposed to this, we did not finish our food or drinks, and still had to pay the full $300 tab. Aside from this, the food was OKOKOK. MID-tier at best! Steak ($1,100 pesos) was tough. Tuna Poke was a terrible attempt and not tender at all. Oysters were extremely salty (not handled properly). AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Server was cool, and funny, he gets the 1 star, but management is terrible and unfriendly. Refuse to accept accountability or to offer ways to make amends. GO ELSEWHERE!

Our condo rental included a complimentary breakfast voucher good at El Dorado for each day of our stay. The breakfast and location on the beach is a perfect way to kick-off the morning. Also, I have to give a huge shout-out to the manager of the restaurant. He's amazing and always greets us with a smile and kind words. When we arrived toward the end of breakfast service today, they weren't able to accommodate us due to a large party they were setting up for. Rather than turn us away, the manager walked us to the restaurant next door and asked them to honor our vouchers. Now that's how you do it!. Stellar service!! We keep coming back here year after year and can highly recommend El Dorado!

I'm gonna give this place a 4-Mexican stars out of 5. Meaning, for Mexico, it's pretty dang good!…read more The ribs go on HH from 2-4pm M-Fr. Two for the price of one and includes French fries and slaw. I order a combo special with ribs and chicken. The first time the chicken was juicy and tender but this time it was dry and flavorless. It's all good it happens. The sauce is consistent and they have some spicy sauce you can add on. The baked potato is fine but only comes with sour cream so ask for butter while it's hot. I personally don't love the slaw but I have friends who do. Found out today the coconut shrimp is the best in the marina. It's got good natural coconut flavor and texture with the shrimp still shining through the batter. Good sauce accompanying the meal. It's a special not an appetizer. I love the location and the service could be a bit better but overall it's good. I come back for ribs and wings and sports.

The fried pickles were delicious with a light cornmeal coating served with ranch dressing. BBQ chicken came with fries and was juicy and sauced just right. I did not receive the chicken sandwich but rather a bbq chicken and rib combo served with fries. This appears to be a mistake but we didn't realize until we got home. Meat portions were quite large. Ribs were ok but I'm a rib snob so I wasn't overwhelmed but they were juicy and tender. I wish they gave us more fried pickles. I would return and recommend. Great location. Lots of tvs for sports, and nice view of the marina!

I honestly could have ordered two. The house-made ricotta was creamy, the tomatoes were fresh and sweet, and the aged balsamic brought everything together perfectly. For my main, I had the Asian noodle salad with grilled shrimp. It was refreshing, light, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. The grapefruit added a bright citrus note, and while I initially thought the candied pecans would be an odd pairing, they worked surprisingly well. My only suggestion would be to remove the shrimp tails to make the dish a little easier to enjoy. I finished with the mango-strawberry almond parfait, which was the perfect ending to the meal. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, making it a great dessert after two flavorful courses. The service throughout the meal was warm and welcoming. I'm still working on my Spanish, and everyone was patient and encouraging, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

It was super close to where we were staying in Zona Romantica, which made it really convenient. We made a reservation but honestly it wasn't too busy for a Friday night so we probably could have walked in. We sat outside and there was live music which was such a nice touch. I'm not sure if she was part of the restaurant or just set up nearby but she was amazing and made the whole vibe even better. I ordered the filet mignon which came with grilled veggies and mashed potatoes and I ordered a side of their mushrooms that were recommended. Everything was so good. The filet was cooked perfectly, super juicy and full of flavor. The mushrooms were honestly really rich and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and veggies were also great. We had a few glasses of wine with dinner and they were all really good. For dessert, we got the chocolate cake and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Service was attentive and quick and even though we stayed past closing, we never felt rushed at all. The overall quality of the food and service really impressed me. Just a heads up, this is not a cheap dinner. It came out to ~$530 for four people, but we did have two bottles of wine. That said, it felt fair for the quality and experience.
