3 month consolidated review is 5 Stars ! Call in for takeout, Order in person, or Stay to have your meal, All good! 6 times I ordered the Al Pastor and Carne Asada Super and Regular street tacos! 1 time I ordered the Chicken Enchilada Special plate with refried beans, rice, plus other accompaniments. Always hot and made to order! Their Horchata is delicious, too. One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars! I approve this rating, Jay M.

Taqueria taking over one of those 1970's Taco Bell buildings, see positive evolution at work. I do love the windows there. Pretty tidy taqueria not divey at all. Big menu too, like bigger than most taquerias. You can get Caldo de Res (Beef Soup), Seafood Cocktels and lots of other things that aren't tacos and burritos. I do like how they have a self serve chip and salsa bar, and even the horchata and jamaica dispensers are up front with the soda, you never see that really ever. Place gets good traffic, lots of locals and workers in boots and day glo. Carne Asada Taco ($3.25 per/4*) I ordered 3 tacos once for lunch but only got rang up for 2. I thought I was gonna be hungry afterwards as I didn't want to re-order. These tacos are friggin' stuffed to the max. Sure they are tiny street sized tortillas but there are so much meat on there that it is hard to pick up that tortilla and fold it like a conventional taco. Meat spilling out all over the place believe you me, this ain't a complaint, just quite never seen tacos so packed. And all that fallen meat, that's where their self serve chip and salsa bar really comes in handy, scoop all that meat n salsa onto some sturdy chips, which is why 2 tacos were totally filling for a lunch out. Their carne asada is spot on, finely chopped browned meat and I did like the texture. I read complaints on it being too fatty, but in all my taco eating years, this is protocol carne asada meat. Carne asada should not be prime steak cuts like ribeye or strip steak, nor should it ever be pink or medium rare. It is flavorful off cuts browned aggressively to be chopped up really good so any salsa can absorb into it. My only knock for this out was the salsa that I agreed for it to be on top was crazy mouth hot, like fresh serrano peppers were my guess. I prefer smoldering burns as opposed to sharp stinging on the tongue and mouth. And this orange hued salsa was not in the self serve bar. So next time I'll get this on the side so I can control the amount of burn. I had refill my horchata 2.5 times to eat 2 tacos. Lol Al Pastor Taco ($3.25 per/3.5*) Crazy orange hued and totally tasted like chorizo to me, more than pastor flavors. Tender fine chopped pork that seemed more braised than roasted. Definitely not from a spit/trompo but still tasty nonetheless. Just the strong chorizo flavor kept throwing me off and it was greasier than I wanted. This also had the crazy stinging salsa. Steak Ranchero ($17/4.5*) Got this take-out another time and this was a substantial meal that I easily stretched to 2. Their delicious carne asada but this tossed with sauteed peppers and onions and maybe a light salsa. Throw a nice mound onto some warm corn tortillas and every bite was satisfying. Their rice and beans were decent, and like other reviewers have mentioned their beans are really unique, it has an orange hue to it. But unlike other reviewers I'm not as resistant to the change, as it was still pretty tasty. Wonder if they cook and mash chorizo into their beans. Camaron al Ajio ($18/3.5*) aka Mexican garlic shrimp. I wasn't digging this as much as the steak ranchero plate. The sauce was decent but the shrimps were on the smaller size and they didn't put as many as the steak plate, like half the amount. But to get this along with the steak ranchero plate, to make a legit surf n turf outing for 2 is a winner of a move. Still want to try their Caldo de Res and their menudo on the weekends. So there is still some work to be done here. *Inner voice* "Get back to work!!"

Went for lunch and had the following: - 3 enchiladas plate - grilled chicken, al pastor, and carnitas and my fave was the carnitas. So flavorful and delicious. Comes with rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomato - al pastor super burritos - it was ok, I had better burritos elsewhere Looking forward to coming back to try their pozole soup. Saw lots of ppl eating it and 2 tacos. The people their were very nice and helpful.

First time eating there after passing several times. Craving For Mexican for a long while and decided to give it a try. The cashier was friendly and the service was fast. I got steak supreme burrito to go. Asking if they can accommodate whole black beans, but they couldn't. They only offered whole pinto beans which was acceptable option for me. There was a salsa and chip bar on the front. To my look, she probably figured it out that I was there for the first time, she made a remark loudly that chip and salsa is free!!! so I took some home. The green salsa was watery for my taste. It had a bit of chilli kick. I didn't try the red one. The chip was warmed but little bit hard. Customers were enjoying it. Private parking around the building which was good. I will stop by again to try their tacos.

    Veggie burrito

Food was ok overall. The meat in the pastor taco was well seasoned and cooked but the veggie burrito was missing seasoning. The salsa bar had two types of salsas, both were ok. The pico was old looking but we also dined late in the evening. Food came out quick. Staff were friendly. Overall restaurant was small and seemed cleaned but our table was sticky.

Showed up for lunch, busy for 11:00. Took a while to order and get 5 tacos, the al pastor was nice , the asada was ok. The taco de cabeza as decent. While the tacos were good and the service was friendly, they also serve other dishes than tacos burritos and quesadillas. Enchiladas and seafood are on the menu, I did hear a microwave, and saw it while I was waiting. While I could tell that the taco filling wasn't microwaved, take all the other dishes with a grain of salt. I'd rate it 4.5 I would return but for tacos or burritos again .

YUM! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: typical taqueria Glad we stopped by! Good balance of protein and toppings. The shrimp in the shrimp tacos were satisfying to bite into and they didn't skimp out. Pricing isn't cheap but also isn't too expensive. Would come again!

We came here around 30 mins before they were closing on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all. They said we have to order to-go, but our friends were there first and already eating. We told them we would eat fast and leave with them. So they let us dine there. We ordered cabeza super burritos ($12). It was so good! Meat was so tender. The flavors were very balanced too. There's a salsa sauce bar where the counter is. Two types of salsas. Parking is private lot.

My wife had the shrimp and crab fettuccine. She is VERY picky about her pasta but the sound she made after her first bite "mmm mmm hmmm" I knew there was not going to be any for me to pick at later. She loved it. The fisherman platter is what I ordered. Everything on this plate, the fish, the shrimp, the scallops all done to perfection! Maybe.. the best scallops I have ever had! No... for real! The view with the planes landing and the water, the wonderful staff, the low noise level, made this a perfect dining experience. Plenty of parking.

Since it was a birthday celebration we ordered agedashi tofu, gyoza, chirashi sushi, sake don, salmon lover roll, unagi hand roll, salmon skin hand roll, 2 - three item bento boxes (one with salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and short ribs and the other with salmon teriyaki, sashimi and beef teriyaki. The service was attentive and everything was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed my salmon skin hand roll, my 3 item bento box with salmon teriyaki, 4 piece sashimi (2 tuna 2 salmon) and beef teriyaki. The sashimi was fresh and tender, however the beef was alittle chewy and not as tender as I expected. The complimentary birthday dessert was a tasty treat and we all shared. This place is a go to for my daughter and son-in-law and they picked this place. My first time here and it was enjoyable, with good service and good food.

And after sitting for another 30 min, we decided it was time to cancel the rest and get our check. All the other tables were getting their food and we were just sitting there waiting. Vivid is located in a strip mall off Washington St, and looks like a family-run operation with lots of Korean customers. IMHO, Korean cuisine is not only super tasty, but super healthy too and consistent with HHS Secretary Kennedy's diet of high protein, fresh/pickled/fermented veggies, and yes either a fried or boiled egg with hot dishes. Banchan came out first, and was fresh. We loved the bean sprouts and kimchi. Free refills - just ask! Wife got the seafood ramen - nice broth and chewy noodles, but frankly she found chicken meat and not seafood. Maybe a kitchen oversight? The two entrees we got were definitely 5-star worthy. A big, heaping sizzling platter of bulgolgi is a crowd pleaser for sure. Thinly-sliced, juicy, and sweet-savory beefy flavors. I need to eat in moderation due to propensity to develop gout, but my 5yo son loved every bite. Its a bit pricy at $42, but it can feed 2-3 people. Next time we visit, we'll probably try either the BBQ chicken or the Pork Belly. The other amazing dish is the Chicken Dolsot. A huge, sizzling stone bowl of crispy rice and tons of colorful veggies and super juicy chicken meat. A fried egg thrown in for good measure too. I do recommend adding some red Gochujang Sauce for extra flavor burst. Looking forward to coming back for more. The waitress was super friendly and seemed to really like us, so her welcoming demeanor set the tone for the rest of the meal. We went with the kimchi stew, spicy rice cake appetizer, and the seafood dolsot. My husband wished the seafood dolsot was crispier, but felt like it hit the sweet spot between hearty and healthy with really good flavor. We loved the kimchi stew, which was the perfect sharable amount for two people or a satisfying dish for one. It was bubbling when it arrived to the table and had a lot of tofu and kimchi. The only dish that kind of disappointed me was the rice cake appetizer. While it was certainly a generous portion for an appetizer, I felt like there could've been way more rice cakes in there, and I didn't care for what I think was some sort of fish patty that were mixed into the dish. I would've much preferred swapping those out for more rice cakes. However, the flavors were delicious and the spice level was potent without being over the top and killing all the flavor of the dish. They have a wide variety of canned Korean drinks here, so I bought a couple to go: a carbonated watermelon drink and pear juice. Both were really good, and I'd order either one with my meal the next time we drop by. Also worth noting that rice and banchan refills are free so long as everyone at the table orders a dish. The purple rice has been overcooked and/or too hard at other Korean places I've been to, but it was fluffy and tender here, which I appreciated. However, one other minor complaint: it was a bit pricey for what we got. Three dishes plus tax and tip had our total just under $100. If we'd been here with even just one other person, I'm not sure what the total would've been. For a family of four or a group? It's got to start adding up pretty quickly. But at the end of the day, the food and service were good here and we'll be back to try more of the menu in the future.

Quality/Quantity - My daughter craved Pho so we came to this place. It has been a VERY long time since we ate here. Actually, the previous time was with the previous owners/business. Today we got the following: Fish Ball Noodle Soup with Pho Noodles - Of course my daughter's choice and with NO veggies?!?! This looked so plain... I know I could have made this better at home! My wife shared some of her wontons with my daughter to add to the flavor. See pictures. I am sure this is NOT what my daughter had in mind when she craved Pho. This was much more of a "Chinese" dish rather than Vietnamese. Update - My daughter mentioned that she could not find regular thinly sliced beef pho as an option. And she thought fish balls were beef balls... Wonton Noodle Soup - Also as plain as my daughter's dish. Again, more of a Chinese dish rather than Vietnamese. #24 Fried Pork Chop, Chicken, Egg with Steamed Rice - Fried fresh and perfectly done! My pork chop and chicken were 5 stars! Everything else was just okay. Ambiance - Very small local business. Decent size parking lot, but not enough spaces for this busy mall. We got lucky and got a space fairly close to the restaurant. Not stressed as we planned to shop at Foodnet after lunch. Service - Had to ask for everything. Hard to get their attention as they just hung around the first booth talking and talking and talking.
