They also have live music on some nights, which is always a hit and adds a great vibe to the place. Visited for a comedy show. Tried the BBQ ribs with rice and plantains. The ribs were large and tender. Order was reasonably priced. Service was good, but staff speak very little English so trying to get an understanding of unfamiliar items was fruitless. They're in a very active location with no valet or private parking. There is a lot across the street that offers a few free spots but its obviously hit or miss. Otherwise there are meters out front and on surrounding streets. However, we ordered dinner and the rice was cold, steak under cooked and salmon was raw in the center. Really disappointing. The waitress was super sweet and tried to make it up to us with a free drink, however nothing reduced from the bill. We may return and sit at the bar but no food, thanks! read more

I've been a patron of the other shop that they've had in town for years now. I finally got around to checking this place out a few weeks ago and I've must've been back at least 6 times. The food is great, the service is top notch and they have TV's everywhere. This is an excellent venue to chow down and enjoy whatever sporting event is on at the time. I frequently come here solo but this is a great place for groups. It'll be a great first date spot too . If you've never had Venezuelan food before, start with an arepa and an empanada. read more

I have been eating from the original location for quite some time now... The empanadas have always been a fan favorite of mine. I'm so happy for the owners for opening and expanding this business because it is truly deserved. This new location is very clean, spacious, and a total vibe. The menu is absolutely huge which is always a plus when you come to a restaurant hungry. If you haven't tried this spot yet, you are definitely missing out. I always get cravings for this food and I'm so grateful that it's close enough for delivery and to drive to. The sauces are out of this world especially the green one, I can't remember the name lol but all I know is I would drink it by the gallon if I could. I've had good experiences with the restaurant as far as dine in and pick up orders however today a delivery order really turned me off from this restaurant and makes me doubt that I will continue to support this business. I made an order that was due to arrive by 6pm, the order arrived shortly before this but with one problem, it was the wrong order. So I called up the restaurant and explained the issue, I was told your order is here and the driver will deliver it, no apology for the mix up. One hour after calling I called again and was told that my order is there and I could pick it up, I explained that I wouldn't pick it up because I paid for delivery, then he told me I could call door dash myself, I explained that I ordered directly through their website so I wouldn't be calling door dash. My wife and I waited for a dinner that finally arrived one hour and a half after it was supposed to arrive. And while it's understandable that things happen from time to time with deliveries and orders, I can't accept the poor customer service and bad attitudes. The food here is great but unfortunately this place doesn't deserve my business. read more

We stopped here to get some lunch before heading over the Citi Field for a night game. This place impressed me! We'd never had Venezuelan cuisine before, so it was a fun new place to try, and it was incredible! The manager Alex came up, and shook my hand and introduced himself. He was bright, positive, and very helpful explaining the menu. He is what all managers should strive to be! The vibe was great. Upbeat music with nice lighting and a fair amount of seating. My wife and I plus a friend stopped in for a drink. There was no seats available at the bar so we were place at a table. A waiter took our drink orders and 45 minutes later we did not have any drinks we were not even offered water! The ambiance was amazing, staff was friendly, and food was even better than I could have asked for. We started with the appetizer sampler which included small tapa size finger foods. The empanadas were fresh, the shredded beef was by far my favorite though. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. For the main course we opted for the classic cachapa. The sweet cachapa and savory meat was the perfect blend! At our table we also had the Res soup which our friends raved about, as well as an arepa. To top it off the cilantro garlic dip served with it brought the flavor to new heights! We finished off with flans which were the perfect texture and decadent. Hottest new spot In New Rochelle! This place has it all! Live music, great food, beautiful layout and fun staff! I drove by and saw this place recently opened so I stopped in for a drink and the owner came out and gave me a tour and welcomed me with opened arms, then took the time to sit with me and chat. The music was awesome and wasn't too loud, but enough to make you enjoy yourself. The food comes out in these intricate platters that obviously took a lot of time and effort from the staff to impress their customers. This restaurant opened a week before my visit so they are still working on few things but my overall visit was a positive experience. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. As the name may suggest it is Latin food, I had one of the stuffed Arepa specials (corn cakes) with brisket, rice, beans,plantains, avocado and cheese ( super delicious). I liked the atmosphere, I visited during lunch but it looks like a fun place to have dinner. They do not have hard liquor at this time but they offer wine and beer cocktails.
