Unfortunately, their cup must have been defective because it started leaking. The barista noticed and poured me a new cup of coffee. The cup does looked pretty solid however, better than the ones at Dunkin' Donuts. The coffee was smooth and didn't have a bitter taste. I also ended up getting a lox on an everything bagel. I really liked how packed it was. There was lox, cream cheese, capers, onions. They toasted the bagel perfectly.

I must say that with the hectic feelings that surround airport traffic and frustrations, Peet's is a nice place to stop to catch your breath. Right after you pass through security on your ways to Gates A-E there is this small coffee shop that is assuring you they will supply you with the fuel for the morning. From one that frequents Starbucks, I can't say the coffee or food choices are better...however...the service, exceptional. Especially for a location that deal with people always in a hurry and in "crazy" mode, this Peet's crew sure keeps on their toes. I have always been greeted with a smile and "what can I get for you this morning baby?" The past two previous visits through here I have also had my puppy, Haley, and she gets much attention from the staff. She is also offered water to go in case she is thirsty, such a nice touch. This time around I ordered a double shot and a yogurt parfait (Black raspberry with granola and raisins) and it was delightful. My double shot came out within a minute and while I was fixing it at the milk/sugar station, one of the staff came over to package my yogurt, get me a spoon and put my water with napkins in a to-go bag (that was suggested, not requested). I guess I looked like I was strugglin' with a bag, coat, puppy and puppy bag ;o) SO thoughtful, it actually made my day. I think that if there were a Starbucks placed next to this location, I would choose Peet's...they have impressed me with their personalities and being a customer service freak, makes me happy!
