Ok so I'm giving this a 2 because of multiple reasons. My first reason is pricing. It is beyond ridiculous to pay $10 a pound for crawfish. So I can guarantee I won't be back because of that reason alone. My second reason being they don't clean their crawfish before boiling them. My third reason is the fact that they asked me what flavor I wanted. Well I can tell you I was shocked because being the fact I'm from New Orleans I have never heard of such thing. And that brings me to my fourth reason. They don't boil their crawfish with any seasoning from what I can taste because they mix it in the bag. All of the flavor are on the shell of the crawfish. My husband and I ate here recently and I just want to say that the food was amazing! We had a lb. of crawfish, the dungeness crab, white rice, and the beignets. We loved every dish!! We've been to a few different crab boils but the Asian twist to these dishes made it that much better. This restaurant is not worth the wait. First, you stand in a long line for at least 30 minutes where they have only one window to take orders. Once your order is placed, you go to a table and wait another 20 or 30 minutes for the food to arrive. That food was expensive and so-so at best. Four pounds or crawfish, an order of chicken wings, and three fountain drinks for nearly $70. You also would think that a restaurant that calls themselves LA Crawfish would know how to actually make crawfish Louisiana style. The crawfish we were served appear to just be boiled and then dumped in a plastic bag full of sauce. Dont expect them to be like the Mardi Gras favorites. We ordered two orders of wings (24 wings in total) and ONLY GOT 4 small halfway filled cups of ranch!!! Seriously! I used one cup for just two wings. This is so ridiculous! I even asked when I ordered how many cups of ranch I could get and he said however many I wanted and I said 10 should be good. Well I get to the store and it's about $40.00 for two orders of wings and fries, I ask again for the 10 cups of ranch and both girls up front say yes they are in the bag. Then I get home and to my disappointment there were only 4 small half filled cups!! I call them to see why they lied to me and they say it's their policy only to give 2 cups of ranch per wing order, REALLY THE guy on the phone told me I could have 10. The manager Anna said any cups after the set amount is a $1.00 each!!! What!??? I had no idea RANCH was so EXPENSIVE to give out, they used to have the ranch set out so you could get as much as you'd like. Anyway, we won't be going back the fries were old and the wings all taste the same. This place used to be good but not worth the prices for the food or service you get. Hands down the best crawfish spot. So much flavor! We eat at the Alamo ranch location quite often as it is our favorite out of all of them. We have tried other locations but it's just not the same. The staff is outstanding and friendly. The prices are not bad at all. I have not had one bad experience here and we've been returning for a year now. Out of all of the crawfish boils we have had this one can't be compared to any other! The wings are great and my favorite is the spicy lemon pepper. People have mixed reviews about this place, but I think it's pretty hard to go wrong here. They carry whatever shellfish is in season among other things. You can choose what style you want it served (Cajun, Vietnamese, etc) and the sides are really good too. This is one of my top picks during crawfish season or for a shrimp/crab boil. read more

I come here for a quick pho fix. Tried their crawfish pho (on my first visit) and it was too salty for my liking. A friend recommended to get their regular pho next time and so I did. I tried their brisket pho (to go) and it was better. I don't like getting pho to go but I needed to be home at a certain time so I had to take it to go. It was still warm when I got home. A plus is that we live nearby. Wished they gave more basil and bean sprouts, they also give so little meat. I'd go here when I need a quick fix and when I don't feel like driving far for pho. I had a not so good experience 2-9-2019! I called in an order they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes I went to pick the order up the wings was COLD! Once I got home I called and I spoke with the manager Amber! She was rude don't have no customer service skills at all!!!!!! The employees are very young and immature, a female was in there with very long fingernails and nail polish!!!!! The food is way too expensive for it to be COLD!!!! Went to LA Crawfish this afternoon. The place is really big. There were a couple of people eating when I arrived. Upon arrival I didn't know if you were to wait and be seated, to go sit, or walk to the front and order. After seeing no wait staff my dining partner and I went to the front. I ordered a dish that was rice noodles, sausage, shrimp, and Crawfish. Then I got a pound of boiled crawfish to share. My partner got something in a broth. We sat down and a few minutes later the lovely young lady brings us our food. And she says we had to walk across the room and get waxed paper to cover the table to put our Crawfish on them. This makes little sense to me. I'm paying them for food and service, yet I have to set the table. I think of an Establishment wants business they should not put customers to work. The noodles in my bowl and 1 Crawfish on top. When I remarked on the solitary figure I was assured there were more, there were not. There was 1 crawfish, 6 shrimp, and 5 thin slices of sausage. I decided to try this place because of the reviews. I am confused about all the 5 star reviews. To me this place is on par with Long John Silvers. I went for lunch at 12:45 on a Tuesday. The place was dead, one other table. I waked up the counter where there were two girls, one crouching down putting on make up and the other lost in her phone. She never looked up once. Once the girl who was putting up makeup realized the other wasn't going to help me she stood up. She looked half-asleep and was less than helpful. I asked about lunch specials and she curtly informed there were none and said nothing more. I ordered a crawfish basket with fries that ended being a basket of mushy fries and a couple crawfish. Okay so I begged and convinced my friend to try this place for two days... His argument was "the place is confused with their concept and menu. they sell pho and Cajun food!" After much convincing we walked in, I am always eager and excited to try new places. Upon entering the busy menu became overwhelming to try and figure out. Once we were at the register we ordered whatever first jumped at us. I ordered the oyster and shrimp basket. My friend ordered the crawfish po boy. I'll get straight to the point, the shrimp by itself wasn't great, luckily I grabbed all the sauces and spices. So dipping it in those helped. The oysters I will say, and I'm not being overly harsh... Just Awful. The moment I popped the first sucker in my mouth I reached for water. I figured it's just that one. Nope the second was even worse, my friend tried one and spat it back into a napkin. They tasted old. His po boy was a large hoagie piled with fries and crawfish inside. He complained of it all being too dry. He is familiar with Cajun food, so he also complained about the flavors or lack of. Said it was hard to eat as a sandwhich, he had to take the fries out to eat the sandwich.I felt bad since I had picked the place. I am not writing the place of entirely because I am curious to go back and try the pho. My friend however, says he will never bother returning. We did not enjoy walking out smelling like spices... It wouldn't hurt to turn on your exhaust fans and wipe the place down with chlorine not fabuloso more often. I hope my next visit plays out differently. We got crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab, boiled on the Cajun flavor medium... potatoes and corn also. It was delicious!!! All of it! Didn't really know what to order or how to order, so we were a little confused and ordered too much - it was a little more than we expected to pay. I had a shrimp po boy and the shrimp was tasty but I wish they put more shrimp in it so that I'm not stuck eating just bread at many bites. My bf had a bowl of gumbo and he thought it was tasty but I've had much better!! We ordered some boiled shrimp and it was ok, it could have used more spices in the bag. Even though I felt my food was mediocre, I may give it one more try before writing it off completely because I did see some other items people were eating that I may have liked better. I also noticed you could add potatoes and corn to your boil so I may try doing that next time. I felt rushed when ordering and wish workers had given some suggestions when ordering especially since they even asked if we had been there before which we said no it was our first time. Tonight we tried LA Crawfish. No line at 6pm on a Friday night but we also tried to plan it that way. ;) Super friendly dudes behind the counter waiting to take our order. They were laughing and joking with each other and us. We ordered 2 lbs of crawfish (1 garlic butter and 1 Cajun spice) and 1 lb of snow crab (garlic butter) with 2 half pieces of andouille sausage and 2 mini corn cobs. All of this cost $40 (minus 10% for Yelp check in). The food was good. Nice flavors. Only thing is, we both agreed that it wasn't enough food for the price. I'm not a huge Joe's Crab Shack fan but more bang for the buck at Joe's than here. Overall, everything was fine but we will probably seek out other seafood places. Tips: 1) check in on Yelp for 10% off entire order 2) the menu is wrong about the price of blue crabs. They say it's per pound on the menu but it is Per Crab. But at least the counter guys told us that when we ordered. Good experience but left still hungry. :( read more
