I stopped in here for some breakfast before I went to my job this morning. I wasn't expecting much because I've come to expect that American crepes just aren't... right. Let me explain. I went on a study abroad to Paris back in 2018. Right outside my dorm room was an amazing crepe cart, and it ruined me for American crepes forever. I have spent the last four years being disappointed by every crepe I have come across... until today. I ordered the Crepe Madame, hoping my other favorite dish would help make the crepe better, if it were to meet my American expectation, and I was not disappointed! Right as I took my first bite, my favorite French song played, and I felt like I was in heaven! My only regret is that I live in Orange County, and I'm not in La Verne often. But you can bet your bottom dollar that anytime I am able, I will be back for a plate of Crepe Madame! read more

So so delicious! They have so many choices! We've been here twice now and everything has been soooooo good!! They are a newer place, plus they are making QUALITY food so it's not super quick but it's worth every second of the wait! Friendly service too... Got there at opening time at 9am, they said they were not ready and to come back at 9:30am. We waited in our car until 9:30am, came back to check if they were open, they said they were still prepping and to come back later. Unprofessional. We've been going to their long beach location for 15+ years and were excited they opened a restaurant closer to us. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. One waitress was doing all the work. Our expectation was that with the same menu the food should taste the same and we were very disappointed. I ordered a breakfast crepe and my eggs were over cooked, my avocado was brown, there was little to no cheese and the crepe was super thick. My husbands carbonara sauce tasted like it was store bought, the chicken was dry and the pesto was not fresh at all. This was sooo fabulous!! Had the most amazing jalapeño Margarita and a virgin lavender which was delicious made with fresh squeezed lemon juice. And that was just the drinks!! The service was amazing and quick! We each ordered the bistro lunch both with the French onion soup and one with panini caprese and one with the chicken Diablo and both were delicious!! I wish I would of taken a picture before I started eating. I love eggs Benedict and wanted to go to a place that was not a run of the mill breakfast place to find the best ones in town. This spot is definitely one of them! The Benedict was on point perfect runny yoke and amazing hollandaise sauce. Their breakfast potato's are soft and crispy great texture! Love the cute ambiance and feel of the place. The service is great. Server is very sweet and the rest of the staff feel welcoming. Their coffee is fresh made and taste delicious! Over all very happy with this place and can't wait to come back and try their lunch and dinner! Very generous servings too! Also my boyfriend had the salmon omelet and it had huge chucks of salmon it it perfectly cooked. Sad I only had one bite!! If you're in the area this is a must try!! read more

In a word: excellent. We stumbled on to this place and were very impressed. The service was excellent. The ambiance was nice. I think what people might miss driving by is that this is a nice, full service restaurant. We started with the bruschetta appetizer and it was maybe the best I've had. They have dinner crepes and several other choices. We had the carbonara crepe and the Parisian crepe. Both were great and large enough to have a second meal to take home. For dessert we ordered the Napoleon crepe. It was a bit like a strawberry creme brûlée. Tremendous. We also ordered coffee drinks that were great and I'm picky about coffee. We plan to come back for breakfast. This is one of the best restaurants in La Verne so don't miss out. read more

Going into this place I just expected a little crepe shop but I was presently surprised! This place has a pretty large dining room as well as some outside seating. The menu had so much more than just crepes, so I will have to come back to try more! The menu has breakfast lunch and dinner with so many choices. I had the maple madness crepe which I enjoyed! I was worried it would be too sweet because of the maple syrup, but it was the perfect amount! Also pictured is the quiche Lorraine breakfast, which my partner had. He said it was good, but a little too crispy on the outside for his taste. Overall, we will be going back soon to explore more of the menu! read more

Food was missing ingredients that were listed on the menu and there were some strange interpretations of the food being served. For example, salsa involved half-cut grape tomatoes. Fruit served on the side of the main dish was Luke warm watermelon and shriveled blueberries. The bacon being served that day had a strange taste (not sure if it was just the way it was cooked or if it had gone bad). Chicken was abundant but very dry even when in the crepe sauce. Items were on the menu that they no longer served. Prices were different from what was on the website (obviously higher than expected). Maybe they changed original ownership or something, but any changes that have been made seemed for the worse. Server was nice but I got a strange vibe from one of the employees/manager (just didn't seem genuine). I really wanted to like this place but I was disappointed by the lack of care and because the pictures of the food looked great. It was a pricey mistake. Hope it gets better. read more

This place is really good ! They have a huge menu in my opinion. A lot of selection , which is good . They have delicious crepes . Savory and sweet ones . They also have yummy breakfast options and lunch options . The space is nice and clean ! I also tried their bistro lunch which was quite good and well Portioned. Yelp said was open. Was not open. Closed tighter than a drum. Was a bit hard to find. It's next to the bigger shop, Bagelry. Yelp needs to update hours, closings, easier. I have heard from owners that Yelp charges them for any updates to hours, closings, etc. This is a horrible business practice, as it inconveniences the customers. Came here about four times and never had a good experience. First two times was about a year ago and the manager was sitting on his phone the entire time sitting on his ass very unprofessional. Everytime the food has not impressed. The waitresses are amazing and so kind but always short staffed and the kitchen staff was walking around holding a phone to their head the whole time. After a little while was told they were out of walnuts and could sub almonds instead- it was a little weird with almonds, not quite the right texture, but overall it was ok. My mother introduced me to this place after much hesitation because I thought they only served crepes and wasn't in the mood for that. I went. And let me tell you, my MISTAKE. We ordered the bruschetta, which was delicious and a nice portion. I ordered the mussels as my main and it was also divine. The white wine sauce was very good, slightly salty but it happens ( I would have licked my bowl had I not been in a public setting) and the fries on the side soaked up the sauce when I was done! My husband and just tried this place for the first time. We were both pleased and disappointed at the same time by La Creperie Cafe in La Verne. Here are our pros and cons: Pros. Very extensive and somewhat eclectic menu. Nice atmosphere and actually the food was really good. We ordered Crepe Madame (very good) and Martinique, also very good. Our order was To Go. Staff seemed very friendly (more on that to follow). Cons-the music was VERY loud and irritating. I know this is subjective, but the chef eventually asked for the music to turned down so there's that. We noticed that 2/3 employees were not masked. Chef used his bare hands to fold our crepes. I know there may not be health code against that, but we are in a pandemic. The most infuriating part came when we brought our food home and noticed that they did not include the ice cream that was supposed to come with the Martinique crepe. When my husband called to let them know, the server told my husband that you have to request ice cream AND there's an extra charge. When I read the description of the dish on line, she argued even though the description is very clear that IC is included. I urge you to try this place for yourself though. We've been to La Creperie Cafe twice now, and both times we've had exceptional food and service. The go-to crepe for us is the Chocolate Chocolate Crepe. What makes this different is that the crepe itself is chocolate. It's topped with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar, and the inside is filled with fresh strawberries and Nutella. The crepe is super good - delicate and smooth. We've also had the Caprese Salad. From the Balsamic glaze to the tomatoes and cheese, they definitely use high quality ingredients. The other go-to item is the French Onion soup. They use Emmenthal cheese instead of Gruyere, and it's amazing. The broth and onions are so flavorful, and with the bread absorbing the broth's goodness, I could eat that soup for days. read more
