Don't sleep on the location or the name cause if you do, you're missing out on some of the tastiest Latin American (Salvadoran) cuisine you'll ever imbibe. We've tried the tacos, yucca con chicharron, Wings, and papusas. Flavors of each scream BOOM and POW to your taste buds and texture is fitting for each one. Wings are crispy (but not too crispy) and tender; yucca con chich fried to perfection with the pork bites having the right mixture of protein and fat; papusas have that soft fluffy feel with that cheese pull; and tacos are tasty and filled with proteins (steak, pork, chicken, fish, lengua). Friendly staff, low prices, large portions combined with great taste make this spot one of Leesburgs hidden gems. Figure it out for yourself when you're hungry. Beware, you won't stop eating!

Service was quick. The steak tacos were delicious. They had pico de gallo and a slice of avocado and two limes, which were really fresh and appreciated the price for the tacos and they were pretty large would definitely be back again.

Pork Tacos and pork/cheese Pupusa. Fried Red Beans, Rice and a little salad.

$8 for a garden salad with 4 slices of tomato, lettuce was wilting. No cucumbers like in the photos. Not worth it. Taco shells fell apart when picking them up, and I only live 5 mins down the street. Pupusa with flavorless. $45 for 5 Tacos, 1 Pupusa, 1 garden salad, 1 red bean side, 1 rice side!! Not worth it. Beans were good. Rice was dry. Took 30 mins to get our togo order. It's decent, but some of the quality and wait is ridiculous

Generous portions for a great value! Food was delicious. They also have a side bakery section with a variety of breads and sweets.

    Chicken tamales with bones

I really want to love this place. I really do. I visited 2 times in the span of a week. My first visit produced large chicken bones in both tamales I ordered (see pics) making each bite a cautious event. But overall, food was good. My visit today started off with an online order via seamless. An order was placed at 11:43 am and given an estimated 12-1210 pickup. Upon arrival the lady at the front searched for my order, reviewed my receipt on my phone, then quietly walked away without a single word. A couple of minutes later a gentleman appeared and informed me they did not receive my order, then proceeded to turn on a tablet for web orders and returned to the kitchen. I did not receive my order until 1245....1 hour after placing my initial order!!! I did make a request to cancel my order, but was informed I would have to contact grubhub to process request. I strongly recommend online orders be called in directly to ensure your order is being made and your time is not wasted

The service there was great and the food exceeded my expectations. Definitely better than the expensive tacos here in Downtown Leesburg. The cashier was especially really sweet and patient with our order (also cute ;) Would definitely come back there again!

Salvadorean Breakfast! Yummy and authentic . Lots of options in food and drinks. Very busy for pickup orders and plenty of seating.

    Could a vegetarian eat here?

I am a vegan, but I cheat when I go there and have the Pupusas. The beans are vegetarian but you can't avoid cheese. If you eat cheese you'll have some options. Otherwise, there won't be too much on the menu for you.

Then while driving around that gas station looking for a spot to park, I smelled some amazing Pollo a La Brassa and saw La Chocita behind the gas station. That smelled drew me in! The folks inside were friendly and sat me promptly. I ordered a quarter chicken and she immediately told me she didn't have any chicken today (I think she meant not ready yet). I said I smelled it and that's why I came in, so she said to wait and went in the back. She came back and said she had chicken, so I assumed the fresh, amazing smelling chicken I came in for that was being cooked was ready. Well, what I got was yesterday's chicken which seemed to be re-heated. It was dry and flavorless... very boring. No spices to be seen or tasted - So very disappointing! The beans that came with it were decent... not a lot of flavor, but great texture and still good. The salad was fresh, their "dressing" was the typical mayo-based sauce and it was ok. Overall - Nothing at all exciting about this visit... I left disappointed.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

Shout out to the yelper who mentioned the hibiscus tea (aka Jamica in Spanish!) really good place you can order online as well. My husband and I can't wait to return. There are a few other thing to keep in mind while here. You order and pay at the counter, if you're dining in they will bring your food to the table and when you leave you can leave your stuff at the table. The staff will come and clear the table as there was a group of 5 that had left while we were there. There are plastic forks and knives in a container on the table as well as a roll of what is best described as paper towels that you can use as napkins. Again this place isn't fancy so I just want to make that clear. Also with the portion size of the tacos they actually put a decent amount of meat in them and the tortillas you could tell were fresh.
