Awesome experience. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The food was great! Meats were flavorful and tender. Salsas we great (especially the avocado salsa). Only vendor I could find that included beans, rice, and agua fresca (watermelon rocked!) standard. Service was the best I have experienced with any taco caterer. They had personality and warmth. It felt like we were at their house and they were cooking for us. Super friendly and hospitable. The communication leading up to the event was fast and clear. Nikki was great to work with. They actually cared. When we found out that we missed the deadline to apply to have a taco caterer cook at the park we were having the party at, Nikki continually messaged me with "don't worry, we will make it work" ...and they did. They were able to recreate the taco catering experience as close as we were allowed by cooking offsite, but serving the food for us at the park. It felt every bit like the classic experience thanks to their flexibility and genuine desire to serve us. Their price was the best of several caterers I looked into. I cannot imagine those more expensive caterers being anywhere near as good as La Famosa. Highly recommended! They will be the first I will call if I ever need another taco caterer in the future. Dominique and Cesar are just the best! From beginning to end, they were professional, courteous and helpful in helping to plan our unique party. My great nephew's 2nd birthday party was taco-themed, and boy was I thrilled to learn, in addition to full-service catering, they also do drop offs. But the day before the party, I found out the location did not allow sterno or electric chaffing dishes. I explained this to Dominique and that as no problem for them. The the food was delivered extra hot, and they recommended I bring towels to place over the trays to keep in the heat! The food was amazing. Our guests were very happy with everything. We had Cesar for a taquiza and were super happy we did. Since before we decided on hiring him, he and his wife Nikki were quick to respond to all our questions. He arrived on time, set up quickly, and the food was ready when he said it would be. All my guests were served quickly and with a smile. I loved the variety of tasty meats. Every taco I had was great and the salsas were authentic. We have some pretty tough taco critics in the family and they all approved and commented on how good the food was. Hired them for my husband's Surprise bday! They accommodated the time I requested! Wow...this was the best experience i have had with taco catering! From the get go, Cesar and Nikki were so helpful with the setup, and kept great communication from beginning to end. I have used a lot of taco catering companies over the years and you wont find a better company than this! Especially with their amazing prices! They fed 120 people at our event with 4 meats, quesadillas, your choice of beans, your choice of rice, salsas, toppings, guacamole, and 2 agua frescas for a price that is well below what anyone else will charge! I guarantee that you will NOT find a place with a better price!!! From the minute they arrived, they set up promptly and were ready to serve within 30 minutes. They were so professional during service and outside of service. The food was delicious and EVERYBODY at my event walked away happy and full. Best taco man ever! From the salsa bar decore and the fresh aguas i couldn't have asked for more! Let's start with the homemade salsa shall we? The green salsa was nice and fresh with a heat that builds up just right while the red has a beautiful smokey chipotle flavor but be careful this one is does pack the heat Now for the meats.... Oh man! The chicken was nice and jucy ( ended up eating about 8 ) the asada had awesome flavor but the winner was defiantly the al pastor so much flavor so jucy so damn good! The homemade Horchata was amazing not too sweet so we could enjoy it with the tacos and the Jamaica just as awesome needless to say the party finished all of it and now for the sides... It wasn't you average spanish red rice and refried beans. They had a great white cilantro lime rice and homemade beans yum! The toppings were properly chopped and the limes to squeeze over the tacos actually had juice not those hella dry limes some places have out where only one or 2 drops of juice come out lol So to finish this review off i can't wait to have another party to have the awesome Cesar and wonderful Nikki cater again! so friendly so helpful just the perfect package!
