I've been a loyal customer for about 12 years, and Tacos Los Guero has always been my go-to place for a quick bite. Every time I visit, I leave smelling like the place, but I don't mind because their food always smells appetizing. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking in the back and front. Tacos Los Guero offers both outside and inside seating. You immediately smell their delicious food when you open the door. This place is cash-only, but there's an ATM on-site for your convenience. I ordered two tacos de asada, one shrimp taco, and a cocktail with cebollitas and jalapeños on the side. There were about four people ahead of me, and my order took about 15 minutes to be made, which was the perfect time to get some extra salsas from their delicious condiment bar. As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with their portions. The meat in my tacos de asada was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the addition of cebollitas was perfect. The shrimp tacos had about three huge and crispy pieces of shrimp. Lastly, the shrimp cocktail was served in a styrofoam cup, but don't let the size fool you; the portion was significant and had plenty of shrimp. In conclusion, this place is a must-try place if you are in the area and want to try some delicious Mexican food. They have a variety of food on their menu with decent prizes. I decided to try the Burrito Mojado de Chile Verde, which I ordered with carnitas meat. JJ ordered the tripas plate which he loves, with a side of grilled Chile peppers. The wet burrito was huge. It was really good, except that some portions of the carnitas were a little on the dry side but was very flavorful nonetheless. JJ's tripas plate was very much something to behold--- it looked great. The only thing is that he likes his tripas very very crispy, and he said that they were rubbery. He said the rice and beans were very good. He took most of it home, and cooked them in a fry pan, and he said they were a little better. I also took a little less than half my burrito home, and thoroughly enjoyed it the next day. I would recommend not ordering the tripas, and to look at the guy behind the counter when he makes the burritos/tacos. There was a meat that looked very juicy and tender. I would order that meat in my burrito the next time. I would go again if we were in the area. Interior ambience was nice, and we enjoyed dining in and had a great time. I had a burrito once, and wasn't the biggest fan. It's been a minute since I have had the tacos, but this last time I went I decided to get the 4 taco de cabeza combo, which is not a bad price. It comes with 4 tacos and a drink, for like $9. I did not see unsanitary practices this time, so I felt comfortable enough to eat. The tacos were good, but keep in mind if you do order with "everything on them" (salsa, onions and cilantro) just know, they put ALOT of onions on there. I think I'd prefer to put the toppings on myself, just for next time now I know. And you can do that, they have a condiment area on the side. The tacos were served piping hot: the carne asada was tender and flavorful, the chorizo was borderline Al pastor in the flavor elements and the meats were cooked to perfection. The men who work there were courteous and provided very fast service!!! My burrito was ready in less than 5mins! They have plenty of seating and can accommodate many people. People just kept arriving in groups of 4 or more! I tore that burrito up!!!
