Came here on a quiet night with some friends. My dinner mates are locals, so they have been here a handful of times. They said that service was up and down, but the steaks were always pretty solid. Therefore, most of us got some red meat. Anyway, all the steaks were cooked pretty well, though my favorite was certainly the skirt steak. Full of umami and juicy as can be, this steak was delicious. The ribeye was cut a bit too thin for me, which why we had to return it the first time due to being overcooked. The new ribeye was cooked properly. The carne asada in the Bandejo Paisa was a bit tough, but extremely flavorful. Rest of the plate was good too. We also had two seafood dishes, which were both decent. Sadly, the service didn't really match the food quality. It was mostly absent for the entire meal. Then when we returned the ribeye, the owner showed clear dismay and sarcastically pointed out that our gray colored steak was edible. Sorry, but we ordered it medium rare. We should not be receiving any attitude for a steak that had zero pink left in the center. Please adjust your attitude. Ultimately, the food is good enough for us to return. So I been waiting to go to this place for so long. Very disappointed, food was not good, i went with my daughter and husband. i ordered the surf and turf, it only got three shrimp tiny piece of meat, chicken and one chorizo. The chicken was bad, like literally bad has a funny smell, the meat no flavor, the shrimp and chorizo were good. And then they charge me a 18% gratitude without notice. Nope. Never going back. Service was very nice and tables both inside and outside were safely distant and clean. Made a reservation for 5 people and we are brought to our table quickly and drinks orders taken swiftly. Ordered one app and 5 entrees... Our grilled Octopus app came out about 30 minutes after being seated, thankfully it was delicious... Our 2 youngest diners ordered the surf and turf and they were really happy with their orders too... but then went down hill from there. About 45 minutes later our entrees start to trickle out. One of my dinner guests said they wanted the rib eye and the waitress wrote skirt steak and insisted that's what she ordered but all 5 of us at the table heard her say rib eye... We just questioned, didn't complain, and she just ate it. Also ordered a grilled red snapper and this thing was not charred but burnt and seemed like they half fried it and half hastily grilled it...again didn't send it back just ate it... But when my bandeja plato came and more than half of the items were burned I had enough. When the waitress saw that more than half of my dish was untouched she discretely said she would take it off the bill without any of us saying anything so thank you for that. A true local spot with good food and open late. Being a weekend hamptonite and not a local, I always have gone to the more common places in the area that you see promoted everywhere. It was a Friday night late after work and nothing else appeared to be open past 10 (nyc spoils me) so I took to yelp and came across La Fogata. My food was very good; I split three carnitas street tacos with my friend who got the three fish tacos. The fish taco was my favorite, but both very high quality. Even our flavored margaritas were on par with real fruit juices and flavors. The table shared the nachos which were huge and filling for three people to share before an entree. read more

This is by far the best restaurant in Hampton Bays. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service!! They have the cutest little outdoor patio with the best ambiance and twinkly lights. The waitress not only remembered us (we had only gone once) but remembered that my husband liked extra hot sauce and brought some out. The one star is for the outstanding service of the security guard, he went above and beyond taking care of my safety when unfortunately I had a bad experience with a man that came up to insult me because I rejected dancing with him the service with the rest of the staff is very slow but and food is overpriced the DJ does an amazing job, recommend for people in their 40s for the type of music. read more

Went for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Service was slow. There was just one person waiting on tables and tending bar! Portions were large but quality was average. Shrimp were overcooked. We had such great time here for dinner last night! Our server, Elisa, was welcoming and had a great suggestions for us. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a bunch of beer and whiskey, along with some amazing chicken wings, the grilled octopus, and the asada Street tacos. It was a great pre-season night, quiet but friendly, and everyone was lovely. They even turned over control of the music to us (which I think they immediately regretted!). Great out-of-the-way find in Hampton Bays! On the outskirts of town, just before the Canal. Delicious, simple Latin menu. We started with Guacamole (very tasty. Instead of chips, try it with tostones for something different!), chicken soup (fabulous), and Grilled Red Snapper. Even the chips & salsa were delish. Next time we'll try the Fish Tacos & Carne Asada! They also had a very interesting looking Beef stew with sausage. Lots of space and staff very sweet. Give it a try! read more

First time hubby had shrimp fajitas, yummy, I had the grilled red snapper, whole fish, but very yummy. We soon returned, this time we shared the very generous (grilled) chicken nachos, still yummy.
