Drove by here on a random evening and saw this place. Went back on a Saturday morning and tried their Menudo ( Delicious)!, we also had a machacado and it also was great, we had some tacos potosinos also delicious. The food has great flavor, hand made tortillas, nice place overall and nice crowd ! Definitely returning for more ! The portions were very healthy as well. Good service along with great food! My husband and I were craving Mexican food and he mentioned this place! We need to going and let me just say I am a chips and salsa person and the ones they served us were amazing! The salsa was spicy and the chips tasted great! I got an horchata and it was delicious! I also ordered the fajita mixta plate with corn tortillas and it was great! Sooooo apparently this place hasn't got the best reviews due to service... I can't speak on behalf of the service considering the few times that I have ate here have ALWAYS been for take out and each time their food is GOTDAMN!!!! First I ordered the tacos de trompo, BOMB!! Then I order a torta, definitely didn't fail to impress and my latest dish of theirs was a beef fajita quesadilla. Duuuude... I'm gonna get fat because of this place, but you know what?! Worth every pound! I am definitely going back for Taco Tuesday... and Wednesday, and Thursday, and Fri... well you get the idea! There were like 3 cars waiting for their food in the drive way (one next to the palm tree) and this girl has the audacity to tell me to wait by the palm tree where there isn't any room and we're both looking at the cars taking up all the room. the service is trash and they take forever. Food was good but the way they manage there business is horrible. First of all they want to charge you the fee that the card company charges them and when I ask they said it's the way they do things there so I paid with cash and they said I owe you 50cents because we don't have change really. It's not the money it's the principal of the way you do business and I guess the customer has to pay at end anyways. read more

I've eaten here since it started as a small trailer and watched it grow to where its at now.Half the waitresses are rude, unapoligetic, and blame customers for mistakes made by them, the cooks, or a misunderstanding.The service has declined DRASTICALLY! I cannot stress how bad the attitudes are! The quality of food is just not what it was.The grilled onions aren't even hot!Let alone grilled!The salsa bottles are always dirty now, the remodeled side is extremely hot.You can literally feel the difference from one side of the room to the other.The restrooms have been dirty the past 4 times I've come.The lemonade however was extremely good. The waitress seemed new and we have the patience for new waitresses but the manager Martha was rude and was intimidating the waitresses that they kept making mistakes on our orders. We were a party of 9 the waitress was bringingus chips the manager stoppedher and told her to start charging us extras. Made the entire experience uncomfortable for everyone. I will start saying that I love the food but the customer service it's bad. We came in at 11:30 and they close at 12:00 am. The waitress right away she told us that the restaurant close at 12 and she suggested to take the food to go. I told her we ju st wanted to eat and go. She told me they might not have everything on the menu so I asked her to tell me what they DONT have so I I know what to order. She came back and said we have everything!... lol ok! No complaint on the food but not even finish she came and gave us the ticket because the cashier needed to close the register lol ok. So I will suggest the manger to close the doors at 11:00pm so the personnel can go home exactly at 12:00. I will make sure I call the manager tomorrow to make my suggestion. I totally understand we came in late but no need to rush people! read more

The boss took us out to eat after finishing up a big job and swore that we would absolutely love this place. Love it we did not. We had a buffet of food from enchiladas to there speciality chicken. The chicken was under seasoned and over cooked so that was the first strike. The enchiladas were just blah, strike two. The beans and rice were sub par as well, strike three. The salsa was ok. I am not sure what the draw is to this establishment but if that is the type of food you desire then eat your heart out. I will not be going back. Pros: Pollo Asado and sides are delicious!! Cons: Horrible service. I've tried dining in, the wait staff was slow taking your order, bringing refills etc... So I tried taking the food to go. They recommend calling in your order for faster pick up, when I got there they had no idea what I had ordered gave me half the order and had me pull up and wait another 15 minutes for rice and beans. When I got down to check what was the status of my order was the absent minded cashier apologize for forgetting and handed me the rest of my order. I could understand this happening once or twice but come on guys EVERY time I order we go through this. I think I'll take my money some where else. Good food... but good luck getting it. read more

Ive been going to this restaurant for years now. Their food is soo good. I love the surtido regio because you get to taste a little bit of everything. Their food reminds me so much of Monterrey Nuevo León and I live down the street so this is my go to on the weekends!
