If your looking for great Latino specifically Ecuadoran food you are at the right spot!! A good friend came from Ecuador and he's been missing his home town food. We found this spot and it has been amazing. The service is outstanding so friendly and warm Hispanic run restaurant and staff speak English as well. Don't feel afraid to not stop by because of your language barrier!! My friend says this is most authentic food. His favorite and very traditional food choice is "Sopa Marinera" ( it's a big dish!) And my favorite dish is the Ecuadorian bandera. The background music is also very fun makes you wanna dance. They have beers and juices! Please give them a try! They know how to treat you right and the food is amazing!

We have been talking about trying this place since it opened and I'm so happy to say we finally did! The food was amazing and certainly not at all cold as stated in the below reviews. My "jugo de mora" was delicious and the coffees we got afterwards were great. My fiancé ate every crumb on his plate. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Our waitress was great; she was attentive and very friendly. We are just dying to come back and try everything else in the menu! ***Comment regarding the previous review : Please note that this is an Ecuadorian restaurant and Gallo is Colombian, comparing the two is silly. Every restaurant has its style so if you expect one thing and one thing only, stick to that. Latin food varies by country so always ask how it's made (example: Mexican ceviche vs Ecuadorian ceviche). Also, when you order for catering you should always ask how many people it will serve.

If she meaning "the owner" used mozzarella... Mozzarella isn't supposed to do that!! Do they even know what mozzarella is ?

If there was an option for NO STARS! I would definitely click on it ..We ordered empanadas With cheese, we did about 30 of them, sad part no cheese was added! Will be sharing a picture & for the amount we paid was ridiculous.. we also did a Picada , they charged was almost $30 with tax... came out to a total of $90.00 For the amount paid we could have gotten a much better service of food. Picadas aren't supposed to be small... I would have ordered from Gallo for a $25.00 & gotten a much bigger & more food! We called & spoke to owner, she was not understanding!! She gave us an excuse how she did the empanadas, using mozzarella cheese & that reason why there isn't cheese it's because it gets cold. We 1000% do not recommend this Restaurant for not great customer service or food!

Came on a Sunday night. Not much of a wait at all. Clean comfortable atmosphere. Food is good as well. Calamaris were actually very crispy.

Price - ~$75 (appetizer, entree, drink, tip) Food - 2/5 - lacking for the price. Drinks were lacking. Service - 4/5 - friendly and on point. Ambiance - 4/5 - cool vibe inside with rooftop. Overall - 3/5 - did just about everything right except the food. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly, gave recommendations, and fun to have around. Inside of restaurant had a cool vibe and was nice to be in. Rooftop was awesome and the highlight. Unfortunately the food fell short. For the price, it was pretty lacking in taste. Portion were ok but the food was all pretty lackluster. Mussels had curry in them but could barely taste it. Tacos were pretty bland. The drinks barely had alcohol in them? They tasted fine but had 2 drinks and barely felt a thing (I know my tolerance). Unfortunate on the food when it came to here. Likely would not return. Both were excellent! The risotto had asparagus and bits of shrimp in it. The salmon was tender and tasteful. Our friends had clams casino and halibut, which they loved! For desert we ordered the Silk 'n' Satin, which is cheesecake with a "dome" of chocolate mousse. And they meant a dome! It was one of the best deserts I have ever had and the 2 of us had trouble finishing it! Prices were all very reasonable for such quality French food. The waitstaff (all women) were knowledgeable and attentive. And both the owners (mother and daughter) stopped by to talk to us to make sure we were enjoying our experience. The restaurant setting itself is nice with calming, soft colors. Highly recommend!!

The seats are wooden and some found them uncomfortable. The food was good. The striped bass was really tasty. The spinach was delicious with a hint of garlic. The au poivre sauce was a little too salty (2 people stated) but not inedible. If you are the type that orders salads or appetizers then you might be ok with a long wait. Some in our group were painfully hungry by the time entrees arrived.
