I always enjoy this location. Food always comes out pretty quick, portions are generous, and food is always delicious. My go-to is always the #7 platter with chicken, white rice, black beans, and platanos. I always grab a ton of different sauces from their countertop and like to mix and mash on every bite. The staff here is friendly and efficient. The dining area is always clean and never feels cluttered. My only gripe with this location is that its in a very busy plaza and parking always sucks. But I dont blame that on La Granja, obviously.

This place far exceeded my expectations for a counter serve restaurant. I had the mixed ceviche, and it was wholly authentic, and almost as good as the best I've had in Lima, Peru. My companion had the quarter chick, which was a great lunch time deal. The only downside of this location is that the strip mall needs a parking lot twice as big!

The Empanadas were small and nothing spectacular about them. The service again nothing spectacular. And nothing special for the ambiance. I had better empanadas else where.

I had this lovely location added to Yelp and completely forgot to do my review. I had never heard of the restaurant chain until a few people i know kept talking about being excited the kirkman location was opening. I did some research to find out more about the restaurant. Looked over the menu and decided to check them out one Saturday while running errands. You can't miss the place once you arrive since the Now Open sign was big and noticeable. Once we arrived we looked over the menu, then walked up to the register to order. They were pretty busy and steady. We ordered to sit in. I ordered the grilled steak sandwich with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the grilled steak with rice and beans and grilled veggies . And we also got 2 empanadas. While we waited at our table i took info from the manger such as phone number , hours of operation and took some pictures. They called our number we got our food and ate. The food was good i heard so much about the sauces so i tried them all with my fries. They were ok , one reminded me of thousand island but none were nasty but none stood out to me as a must have with my food. I wish i would have just gotten the steak without the bread because once i get full i take the meat out of the bread and eat that so I won't waste food i rather the bread go uneaten instead of the meat. My sandwich was good, but My husbands steak was very very good , tender and well seasoned . (I will get that the next time) overall the customer service was great . The empanadas I didn't care for due to, too much onions. We ended up getting bottle drinks because i kept asking did they have fountain and the lady at the counter said NO .. once we started walking towards our table we saw the fountain for drinks so I'll guess she just didn't understand my question. We were looking to throw things out once we were done but we were told no they clean up for you. I enjoyed myself .overall

The delicious chicken and grilled veggie meal.

The my meal was delicious: I got the chicken and grilled veggie meal. Fresh and tasty! The restaurant gives you the cozy family owned vibe and servers are friendly.

Too hungry to take a pic but the food is always reliably good and fast at every La Granja. First time at this location; very clean and ample seating. Menu is massive and plenty of staff. $15 for steak, sautéed onions, white rice, black beans, and a fountain drink (#8 combo). Honestly my favorite part is their off-menu toppings station with their house pico de gallo and a jalapeño/onion topping!

Stopped by for a quick dinner. I've been to the other la granja locations and I was glad they opened up one near my boyfriends house. I ordered #6. The fish filet with rice and beans. I substituted the plantains for tostones because I am not a fan of plantains. The fish was nice and fluffy. It was cooked well. The rice and beans were good. I got a few sauces for my fish and tostones. My favorite were the garlic and the garlic onion sauce. Portion was good because I couldn't finish my food. Great place for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner if you're in the kirkman area and want Spanish food.

Great tasting food, and service was really fast. Will try them again. The extra precautions taken with sanitation were noticed, it gave me a little sense of comfort while dining in.

(12/11/2021) stopped in to get a very late lunch after running errands on a Sunday. Place was still pretty full, orders were taken fast. Not sure what came over me, but I ordered the Seafood Sampler. A lot of confusion in the back of the house ensued. I'm guessing no one in their right mind orders fast food ceviche (raw fish). Steak Bowls, our usuals, came as expected and we're devoured. Steak, beans, corn, and vegetables well-seasoned. Fried seafood actually done dectly well for a fast food place, especially the calamari rings. Fish ceviche was a little suspect, fish was very lime y, very mushy. Decent food, large portions, hot, well-seasoned, good prices.

We stopped by here when we had to go to Verizon last week. Food was absolutely delicious, and man, I wish Alabama had these!! The green sauce and garlic sauce were some of my favorites and my boyfriend loved the spicy and habanero. The macho fish was sooo good as were the sweet plantains. The popcorn chicken came with a deliciously huge portion and fries were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be trying to return when we come back!!

It was 30 minutes from our hotel, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint! We got there relatively early (20 minutes after they opened for the day), and nobody else was there, so that was kind of awkward, as was being told to order from a kiosk (or use the QR code at the table), rather than give my order to a human. But the kiosk allowed us to kind of 'shop' before making our decision, so that was good. Since we were the only customers, everything came out fast and fresh (in fact, his came out a few minutes before mine, so I had to steal his fries until mine came out, lol) Hubs got the Ultimate Smash Burger and Fries, which was delicious. Soft bun, big burger, delicious fries. I got the Chicken Dippers, and y'all - they were HUGE! And you got SIX of them! Well-seasoned and well-fried, with a flavor that I know I've had before (spice-wise), but I couldn't put my finger on. I ended up only eating two of the tenders, and brought the other 4 home for leftovers. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. They gave me a box/bag for my leftovers, and bussed our trays when we were done. Seating is ALL tables, so if you're a "Booth Person" you might be bummed. But the seats were comfy, even on a bigger tushie like mine. Paper towels, salt & pepper, and ketchup were on the tables. The only 'con' for me was the hush puppies... it had pieces of corn in it. This is a personal preference, of course, but I like my HPs without pieces of corn or onions, so I didn't ding them for that! Great job to everyone here, everything was delicious. It's on my "Must Go Back" list for next time I'm in the area.

It's clean, if not a little outdated. There are huge shelves around the windows with plants, art, and lights. You can see there's been a lot of water damage to the shelves. The menu has a nice selection. We ordered the lobster platter, scallops, red snapper, and the sea bass. The sea bass was the best! The red snapper was a close second. We ordered it Szechwan style. The lobster was a strong third. It wasn't prepared in a way that I'm used to, or how I expected it to be, but it was good. My friend said it was the best lobster he'd ever had. The scallops were in last place. They were pretty tasteless. Some of them were "dirty"; you know when you don't clean your seafood really well and get some grit in your teeth when eating it... So, I wouldn't order those again. We also had a nice sake, white wine, and whiskey. The service was a little slow- not very attentive, but they were very nice. The bill came to a little over $300 for the four of us. The only leftovers was the lobster. It was quite a large amount. Pretty reasonably priced menu. Definitely will cure your seafood cravings.

Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can tell they care about quality from start to finish. Shrimp (must-try): Hands down the star of the menu -- plump, juicy, and seasoned to perfection with a light, crispy breading. These shrimp are worth the visit alone. Crispy Cod: Golden on the outside, tender and flaky inside. It's lightly breaded and not greasy at all -- exactly how fried fish should be. Wings: These wings were definitely winging it -- flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The garlic parmesan is a can't-miss choice. Sides Done Right: The seasoned fries and thin onion rings had real flavor -- no bland filler sides here. The coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, and the mac & cheese? Epic. It tasted like Sunday dinner or holiday mac -- if you know, you know. Cornbread Surprise: A sweet, unexpected highlight with a flavor that could stand on its own as a dessert. Service That Stands Out: Special shout-out to Lisa Marie for her welcoming personality and great recommendations. She was attentive, professional, and truly made the meal even more enjoyable. He desperately needs a lesson in basic customer service and human respect. After a long day at Universal Studios with our kids, we were fortunate to find a late 9:00 PM reservation for dinner at The Palm. We arrived around 9:05 PM, and while waiting near the seating area, Rami approached us and abruptly announced that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused, as I thought my husband had booked it online, and didn't say anything about cancelling it. He was parking the car at that moment, and he was not with me. Before I could even process what was happening, Rami raised his voice and snapped aggressively at me, saying, "Your reservation was canceled, but I am getting you a table, okay?" As I hesitated in shock, he literally yelled at me in an irritated, condescending tone: "YOUR RESERVATION WAS CANCELED! BUT I AM GETTING YOU A TABLE!!" He spoke to me as if he were scolding a child. This was not acceptable or normal hosting. Right behind us was a white family with a 9:00 PM reservation. Rami instantly shifted his demeanor, welcoming them in a calm, polite, and respectful tone. The contrast was impossible to ignore. When my husband arrived and attempted to show him the reservation, Rami cut him off mid-sentence and yelled at him as well: "I got this. I'm working on it, okay?" Refusing to be dismissed, my husband showed him the OpenTable email confirmation. Seeing the active confirmation, Rami's eyes went wide, and without saying a single word of apology, he walked us to a table. I cannot help but wonder: would he have raised his voice, aggressively barked orders, and been condescending to us if I weren't an Asian woman with an accent? This went far beyond poor customer service; it felt deeply disrespectful and racially motivated. What should have been a wonderful family Sunday night at the end of our vacation was completely ruined by this arrogant, rude, and foolish individual. How does a high-end establishment like The Palm allow someone like Rami to host? Management needs to seriously audit their staff and hire people who reflect the reputation the restaurant claims to have. In addition, if the reservation system was what caused the reservation to be cancelled, please fix the issue immediately. Running a resturant takes more than just good food.
