It lacked the flavor punch of Puerto Rican food and the Alcapurria (just one for $5.40), which too expensive for my taste. If I am to go solely by my experience, would I recommend this restaurant? No I wouldn't. I think it's expensive compared to the amount of food they gave versus their competitors. But, the people are very nice and professional and the restaurant is nice. I called to place an order and was told they would not take my order over the phone and that I had to order online. I followed their instructions and placed an online order totaling over $100. The order indicated that my food would be ready at 3:17 PM. I arrived at approximately 3:30 PM, only to find that my food was still not ready. When I went to pick up the order, I was asked to provide identification. Unfortunately, I had left my ID at the hotel where I was staying. I did have a picture of my ID on my phone, but instead of accepting that, I was told they wanted to write down my driver's license number. Given the amount of identity theft and fraud happening today, I was not comfortable providing my driver's license number for someone to write down. They offered me a refund, and I ultimately left without the food I had ordered. I understand that businesses have policies regarding identification, but the entire experience was frustrating and lacked customer service. I followed their instructions to order online, paid over $100, arrived at the stated pickup time, and still walked away without my food.
